YMMV / A Nightmare on Elm Street III: Dream Warriors

• Narm: Pretty much everything Freddie says. His personality comes off as more hammy and exaggerated than it was in any of the released movies, his swearing is excessive to the point of being ridiculous, and his threats tend to go so far into Cut His Heart Out with a Spoon territory that they're impossible to take seriously. Some examples:

  Freddie: Cunt! I'll get you — asleep or awake! I'll shit on your corpse!

  Freddie: I don't want you, faggot. Fuck off and die!

• Narm Charm: Kincaid's death by Ass Shove is ridiculous, but the way it's described is so horrifying that it actually works.
• Nightmare Fuel: All of the death scenes, which are noticeably Bloodier and Gorier compared to the released movie.
• Values Dissonance: Freddie's use of the word "faggot" probably wouldn't work in a modern A Nightmare on Elm Street movie unless it was to make a point about how vile he is.
