Go, Dog. Go! is an educational computer-animated children's streaming television series based on the 1961 children's book of the same name by P. D. Eastman, which was developed for Netflix by Adam Peltzman.

The show's stars are two young canines, the energetic and inventive Tag Barker and the more timid and reserved Scooch Pooch, whose family has just moved next door to Tag's. This pair of unlikely friends live in the Quirky Town of Pawston, where everyone is always on the go. Armed with plenty of ingenious plans and a love for anything that goes, Tag and Scooch are ready for fun and adventure together.

Co-produced by DreamWorks Animation Television and WildBrain Studios (later renamed to Island of Misfits), the series premiered on January 26, 2021. A second season was released on December 7, 2021. A third season was released on September 19, 2022. A fourth season was released on November 27, 2023

This show contains the following tropes:

  • Adults Are More Anthropomorphic: The dogs in the series act more dog-like when they're babies and more human-like when they are big kids.
  • Cartoon Dog Breed: With the exception of a few, like Lady Lydia the poodle and Sam Whippet the whippet, most of the dogs don't resemble any specific breed. The Barkers in particular just look like multicolored dogs of various shapes and sizes (besides Grandpaw Mort, who resembles a basset hound).
  • Don't Explain the Joke: Averted. Jokes are explained by the characters enough times, that explaining the joke is basically a Running Gag in itself.
  • Free-Range Children; Tag and Scooch can go almost everywhere in Pawston.
  • Friendly Rival: Tag and Wind Swiftly during the Race Cadet storyline.
  • Funny Animal: The cartoon's characters are anthropomorphic dogs, also season 3 introduces anthropomorphic cats.
  • Furry Reminder: For example, the dogs wag their tails when they are happy. They also bark sometimes.
  • Hufflepuff House: The Race Cadet storyline focuses on Tag and Wind, the other cadets, Tread Lightly and Doug, are just... there.
  • Mythology Gag: Paw Barker and Lady Lydia are based on characters from the book.
  • Odd Name Out: Tag's rivals during the Race Cadet storyline are Wind Swiftly, Tread Lightly, and... Doug.
  • Punny Name: Frank and Beans. Bonus points for Frank resembling a Weiner dog.
  • Shaking the Rump: Some characters seems to do this while wagging their tails.
  • Title Drop: Used a LOT by the characters.
  • You Mean "Xmas": The dogs in Pawston celebrate "Sniffmas" (a holiday similaur to Christmas).
