In Fate/Grand Order, the protagonist had to face the threat to Human History on their own in place of Team A after Lev Lainur's sabotage. But what if a member of the Team survived?

P1 Crypters is a web comic series on Reddit by OroJuice (the author of Fate/Gag Order), showing each Crypter surviving the explosion and fighting alongside Ritsuka and Mash, along with the servants from the original opening based on which Servant class Team A planned to use.

Namely, Kadoc with Mephistopheles, Ophelia with Altera, Hinako with Ushiwakamaru, Peporicinio with Arjuna, Wodime with Scathach, Beryl with Jekyll, and Daybit with Darius III.

It can be read on Reddit, and it can be read on Archive of Our Own here or on Spacebattles.com here.

P1 Crypters contains the following tropes

    In General
    Master Kadoc & Caster
  • Arc Words: "Caster" which refers to Mephistopheles, King Solomon, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Medea, Xuanzang Sanzang, Circe, Anastasia, and mages in general.
  • Butt-Monkey: Kadoc usually ends up suffering from Caster's hijinks.
  • Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: Caster. He might be joking, but Kadoc sure as hell isn't taking that chance.
  • Combination Attack: Kadoc and Ritsuka have been planning combining different Servant abilities to better their odds against Solomon. One of them is having Caster's bombs strapped to Mash's sheild, which she rams against their enemy for a concentrated explosion.
  • Concept Album: Tears for Lears (which has nothing to do with Tears for Fears or King Lear) is a recommended playlist which features song choices reminiscent of Kadoc and Caster's music choices per major story chapter from Fuyuki onwards. Typically, Kadoc's songs are various flavors of Rock & Roll whereas Caster's are morbidly comedic if relevant. For example, Kadoc's track for Camelot is "Iron Hand" by Dire Straits in reference to how the forces of Camelot treat those who fail the Lion King's Holy Selection, whereas Caster's is the theme song from King Arthur & the Knights of Justice.
  • Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu?: Caster drops Tick-Tock-kun on Goetia, insults him for several panels, and after Goetia takes extra care in vaporizing him, he finds that Mephistopheles activated Clown's Laughter, preventing Goetia from using the overpowered skills that let him wipe out the front line of an unsuspecting party.
  • Dreadful Musician: When Nero Bride is singing the American Anthem, most of the Servants act out in immense pain, with Geronimo comparing it to his final years as a free man and Mash standing in front of Ritsuka like Nero's singing is a devastating attack. Kadoc and Caster handle the music much better, though not without a few snide comments.
Kadoc: Huh, not bad. It's kind of like Tom Waits was a chick. And... uh... was dying.
Caster: Or if a banshee stubbed its toe
  • Driven by Envy: Subverted. Dantes uses Kadoc as the envy demon in the Prison Tower instead of Phantom, but Kadoc simply acknowledges his envy of Ritsuka and allows him to pass.
  • Epigraph: The goofy Alt Text of previous strips is replaced by quotes from Goethe's Faust and The Devil's Walk by Percy Bysshe Shelley in the Salomon and Salem chapters.
  • Fate Worse than Death: Kadoc (who already died in Babylon but came back with Gilgamesh) finds ending up with the Lahmus this, and asks Caster to kill him if it comes to that.
  • The Gadfly: Caster, especially to his master Kadoc.
  • Gilligan Cut:
    • Near the end of the London Singularity, just after they fought Altria Lancer Alter. Kadoc reassures Mash that it's unlikely they'll have to fight King Arthur again despite Caster's eagerness. Cue the Camelot Singularity and the Lion King...
Kadoc to Caster: I hate it when you win.
    • Kingu remarks that Kadoc is far too trusting to believe that the former really was Enkidu and could be an ally. Cue a flashback sequence of Kadoc having distrust of servants with historical rap sheet like Nero and Mordred.
  • Killed Off for Real: Caster Mephistophiles during Kadoc's version of the Temple of Time battle. To drive the point home, his EOR chapters involve him traveling with different Caster servants, while Mephistophiles only appears as his cameo in Salem.
    Master Ophelia & Saber
  • Fountain of Youth: Saber is reverted to her Larva form during the Prisma Illya event.
  • Going Native: Altera ends up acting like a street-savvy rebel after spending time in Shinjuku
  • Gold Digger: Saber tries to marry Ophelia after learning of her wealth and prestige, a practice from back when she was Attila the Hun when she used political marriages to gain resources.
  • Mythology Gag: Altera's prites from Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star are often used.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: At least in Ophelia's opinion, since hse enjoys working with Altera Larva during the Prisma Illya event, due to how gentle and innocent the Saber is.
    Master Hinako & Rider
  • Alone Among the Couples: Hinako hates Valentine's Events because she has to see lovey-dovey couples while Xiang Yu isn't present, so she stuffs Rider full of Valentine's chocolate and sics her on Mash to prevent Mash's valentine from being delivered.
  • Crazy Enough to Work: Ritsuka suggest to Hinako to use all their command seals on Rider to heal and power her up against the Demon Pillar. Without any saner ideas, Hinako ends up agreeing.
  • Honor Before Reason: Rider wants to fight MHX even though she has two Excaliburs, because it would be a glorious battle.
  • Ineffectual Loner: Hinako angsts about the "deaths" of Team A, ignoring that Rider, Ritsuka, and Mash practically worship her like over-eager minions.
  • Open Mouth, Insert Foot: Hinako managed to persuade MHX that Rider isn't a Saber because she doesn't fire beams, and that MHX doesn't have to fight them. And then Rider points out that other Saber-class servants don't fire beams. MHX is back to thinking Rider is a Saber.
  • Spanner in the Works: Halloween Elisabeth tries to regain energy with an emergency tub of blood... only to find out that Hinako drank it all.
