Not the greatest of adventurers, but they're the only ones we've got.note

Dog Knight RPG is a webcomic made by Ceehaz featuring the adventures of Rory, a Doberman scout, engaging in adventures with her party of fellow dog knights.

Most of the comics can be found on Ceehaz's Twitter. Cougar Macdowall has also been uploading comic dubs on Youtube.

Not to be confused with the graphic novel series The Dog Knight.

This webcomic has tropes featuring:

  • Action Girl: Each of the dog knights is a powerful fighter in her own right.
  • After Action Patch Up: If the Dog Knights don't have potions or Celia to heal them, they will use bandages on each other. This is seen when Rory and Orinette are bandaging Jeane and Maci after they were injured in a fight.
  • Amazon Brigade: All of the Dog Knights are female, and each of them is an Action Girl in her own right.
  • Awesome Aussie: Nix and Rebell have Australian accents in the dubs and they're both really buff fighters.
  • Barefoot Cartoon Animal: The cast is made of animals who wear no footwear due to having fur and pads at the bottom of their feet.
  • Big Damn Reunion: Jeane gives Rory a big hug that lifts her off her feet when she and Ori return from a mission that lasted three days.
  • Boring Yet Practical: Rory mainly has the Dog Knights take farming missions rather than monster missions because they offer large amounts of gold with minimal risk. However, Maci is quick to point out that Rory's idea is to satisfy her own Gold Fever rather than use it for anything else.
  • Cats Are Mean: Hama's cat tends to scratch her a lot.
  • Charm Person: It is possible for characters to charm their opponents by using a charm attack. They can use their natural beauty like Jeane or their cuteness like Maci.
  • Chest Monster: Mimics tend to disguise themselves as chests to trick adventurers into opening them and eat them.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: Maci and Bruno were close friends as children and are now in a relationship as adults.
  • Choke Holds: Rory puts Maci in a rear naked choke when Maci finds Rory removing a rabbit costume she put on for a birthday party.
  • Clothing Damage: Several strips show the Dog Knights with their clothes torn during or after a battle.
  • Cutting Corners: Rory tends to do this a lot, whether stealing from corpses, becoming a target for free arrows, fishing naked to not ruin her only set of clothing, haggling with Hama, to even giving up her previous Dual Wielding dagger fighting-style just because she lost one of them and didn't want to buy another.
  • Eye Scream: Nix kicks a monster in the eye in her debut episode.
  • Foe-Tossing Charge: Jeane's first action scene has her confidently sending mooks flying by running them over with her shield and magic, while carrying Maci on her back.
  • The Glomp: Jeane gives Rory a running hug upon not seeing her for days following a difficult quest.
  • Halloween Episode: A chapter has Ori sitting in a giant pumpkin dressed as a sexy yet evil witch. The following page shows Rory about to beat her up with the giant pumpkin for trying to scare her.
  • Healing Potion: Healing potions are used when the party gets injured. Rory has a lot of them and uses them a lot on her companions when they are injured.
  • Hit Points: Every time a character gives or receives damage, the impact will have a number to display the amount of damage for each attack.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Maci's boyfriend, Bruno, is far taller than she is, with her barely reaching his ankle.
  • Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Maci and Jeane have shields that made them the tanks of the party.
  • Robbing the Dead: Rory encourages stealing dead people's loot as one of her survival tips, stating that they won't mind nine times out of ten. Unfortunately for Ori, she gets attacked by a zombie because Rory stole its jewelry.
  • Shield Bash: A strip features Jeane defeating a group of enemies by running them through with her shield.
  • Slapstick: The dog knights are all female, but they're still prone to getting comically injured, especially Maci and Ori.
  • Swallowed Whole: Some strips shows Maci getting swallowed by monsters, forcing others to save her before she gets digested.
  • Valentine's Day Episode: A chapter focuses on Maci and Ori finding a mysterious package that contains a half naked Jeane, who wanted to celebrate Lover's Day with Rory.
  • Worth It: Despite Rory strangling her, Maci states it was worth making a bunny joke to make fun of Rory working as a rabbit mascot for a birthday party.
