Puppet Reviews Stuff is a web series centered around puppets. The eponymous Puppet specializes in reviewing movies and the like. He is also partially a reactionist who reacts to shows like SuperMarioLogan, Supermarioglitchy4's Super Mario 64 Bloopers, and Miraculous Ladybug.

This web series provides examples of:

  • Abhorrent Admirer: Merial is deeply infatuated with Puppet much to his ire.
  • Arch-Enemy: Vonstrucker is this to Puppet. As Farkel points out in the finale, Puppet is the only person Vonstrucker is truly afraid of.
  • Bad Boss:
    • Puppet tends to mistreat Farkel and is unappreciative of the work Farkel puts into assisting him on videos even if for the most minimal of effort.
    • Vonstrucker is worse. He forces Farkel to work for him under the threat of having his father executed and later fires his weapons at another henchman for his own amusement.
  • Berserk Button: Puppet has a few not limited to:
    • Never call him Chef Pee Pee due to him looking like a spitting image of him.
    • Never damage or steal his DVDs. This sets the plot in motion for the Season 2 story-line.
  • Big Bad: Vonstrucker who devotes his time trying to destroy Puppet and everything he loves.
  • Black Comedy Rape: Merial does this to Puppet. As what you can expect, this traumatizies him.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Puppet often breaks the fourth wall when alluding to the fact that he had a puppeteer.
  • Companion Cube: Puppet's Melony doll in recent episodes.
  • Damsel in Distress: Merial lampshades this herself when she revealed that she was kidnapped by Vonstrucker.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Farkle, as a result of a challenge, reacts to the SML video "Jeffy the Good Boy."
  • Deadpan Snarker: Puppet. Sometimes lops with Sarcasm Mode.
  • Domestic Abuser: Vonstrucker emotionally abuses his housewife Sharon going as far as to slap her when she refused to break off her friendship with Merial.
  • A Dog Named "Dog": Puppet's...referred to as Puppet. However unlike many other examples of the trope, Puppet does in fact have a name, but he doesn't share it.
  • The Dreaded: Vonstrucker greatly fears Puppet and is bound by the deal he made with him despite his hatred of him.
  • I Have Your Father: Vonstrucker holds Farkel's father as a bargaining chip and threatens to have him executed if Farkel does not comply.
  • Jerkass: Puppet takes a lot of pride in the fact that he is cruel.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite the aforementioned, it shows that he truly does care for his friends and is enraged to hear that his archenemy Vonstrucker was the one who caused the wedge to form between him and Derek.
  • Mysterious Past: Puppet used to work for Vonstrucker. What he did during his time with him is currently unknown.
  • Otaku: Derek, so much so, he has to beg Merial to say "Nico Nico Nii" because he wanted a real girl to say it.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: The Puppet curses frequently.
  • The Sociopath: Vonstrucker has all the warning signs: he's manipulative; needs a source of stimulation to alleviate boredom; lacks empathy; and lastly, he has a high opinion of himself.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Farkel decides to jump off a shelf as a stunt so he could get views on YouTube.
  • Younger Than They Look: Vonstrucker is actually in his twenties despite appearing to be an elderly man.
