Miku Tsubasa is a ballet dancer who finds herself caught in a battle between the invasive Vionnators and the heroic Dinnovators. After discovering she has the potential to become the Dinnovator DinoPteras, Miku becomes the Dinnovators' third member and joins them in fighting to defend the world from the Vionnators.

- Animal Motifs: Why else would the Dinnovators be dinosaur-themed instead of beetle-themed like their inspiration?
- Captain Ersatz: The Dinnovators are a rather obvious one to the B-Fighters from Juukou B-Fighter, just with dinosaurs instead of beetles as a motif.
- Color-Coded Secret Identity: The Dinnovators all wear clothing that matches the colors in their transformed states.
- Fighting Your Friend: The Monster of the Week in episode 4 uses her power to make the male Dinnovators attack DinoPteras. Luckily, Miku is able to get through to them and get them to resist the monster's spell.
- Freudian Trio: The three Dinnovators. Miku is the compassionate and caring one, Masumi is the stern and logical one, and Souta is the one who balances them out.
- Generic Doomsday Villain: What the Vionnators are and where they came never gets explained at all. Their goals seem to just be to defeat the Dinnovators and (maybe) Take Over the World.
- Monster of the Week: Each episode sees the Dinnovators combating a new Vionnator kaijin.
- No Ending: The SFW episodes only end with the Dinnovators destroying another monster and leave off on the Vionnators preparing to unleash their ultimate weapon.
- Pink Means Feminine: DinoPteras, the only female Dinnovator, is colored pink.
- Power Trio: The three Dinnovators, obviously.
- Transformation Trinket: The Zaurus Commanders are what the Dinnovators use to transform.
