AquaticNeptune is a web series of plush comedy videos on YouTube. Formerly a creator of YouTube Poops about SuperMarioLogan, the channel has videos which are satirical parodies of SpongeBob SquarePants, featuring plushies of the show's characters, sometimes parodying existing SpongeBob episodes whilst other videos have an original plot including the characters interacting with SpongeBob themed merchandise or internet trends.

Whilst mainly focusing on SpongeBob, the channel has also made parody videos of other known TV shows such as Jimmy Neutron and The Simpsons.

The YouTube channel can be visited here.

This series provides examples of:

  • Abusive Parents: Hugh Neutron in "JIMMY NEUTRON DRINKS A SPRITE CRANBERRY", though Played for Laughs. The father in question has Jimmy tied up in his room with chains in order to stop him from performing any more experiments.
  • Adaptational Villainy: Grimace in "SPONGEBOBS GRIMACE SHAKE", said video based on the Grimace Shake trend.
    • Goofy, yes, that Goofy in "THE KRUSTY KRAB PIZZA IS DISGUSTING" whom tries to murder SpongeBob and Squidward to get a free pizza.
  • And Then John Was a Zombie: Patrick, somehow, turns into a zombie after eating his own brain at the end of "GROW IT SPONGEBOB - PATRICK'S NEW BRAIN".
  • Broken Pedestal: In "A DAY WITH SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS", Walter finally meets Spongebob in person; but the latter turns out to be a broke, unpleasant alcoholic. However, it turns out that wasn't the real Spongebob.
  • Butt-Monkey: Squidward is prone to becoming this in the series, much like his source counterpart.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: In "THE SONIC POPSICLE IS HORRIFYING", Knuckles pulls a prank on Sonic by getting residue from a Sonic popsicle on the hedgehog's face to make him think that he's suffering from a fatal sickness. How does Sonic react? By decapitating Knuckle's head and putting it on a stick, serving it as a "Knuckles Popsicle". Poor Tails gets the same treatment prior to this despite being completely unaware that it was a prank and thought that Sonic's ailment was genuine.
  • Drowning My Sorrows: Squidward resorts to this after losing too many times to the skill cranes in "SQUIDWARD ARCADE CLAW MACHINE FAIL 2" ...with an energy drink based on Duff Beer.
  • Hypocritical Humor: SpongeBob in the series' video on The SpongeBob Movie Videogame for GameBoy Advance and "SPONGEBOB JELLO" chastises Patrick for being narcissistic when he makes or gets an object or food item based off of him despite having hundreds of merchandise with his face on them. Patrick even points this out in the former.
  • It Can Think: The titular popsicle in the series' SpongeBob popsicle videos. One of the videos has various moments that have the popsicle moving and terrorizing SpongeBob, heavily implying that it is in fact sentient.
  • Related in the Adaptation: In the original series, SpongeGar is the prehistoric ancestor of SpongeBob. Here however, he's one of SpongeBob's relatives.
  • Running Gag:
    • SpongeBob's personal rule that bananas should be stored in the fridge, much to Squidward's annoyance.
    • Mr. Krabs' addiction to Ketamine, referencing the video game based on it.
    • Squidward mentioning his skin colour, PMS 333.
  • Sensory Abuse: Some videos in the series have a few moments that include these.
  • Take That!: The series more often than not takes jabs towards merchandise, food products and various trends usually due to their questionable or shoddy design. The channel even has a series of videos that focus on the notorious SpongeBob popsicle.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Whilst SpongeBob and Patrick are still best friends, they do on occasion end up butting heads with each other, especially in a competitive manner such as in "SPONGEBOB JELLO".
