Despite being a comedy-centered YouTube channel, AquaticNeptune does have a few moments that border off on creepy rather than funny.
- The last game on the channel's first video on Roblox which starts with the main cast (sans SpongeBob) and some of the side characters inside the Krusty Krab surrounding a pentagram, which in the middle has SpongeBob's mutilated corpse whilst a bloody demonic version of the Sponge floats above. The player is then warped to a new area whilst the demon SpongeBob pursues the player, killing them on contact. All the while, a distorted music box is heard in the background.
- The video which focuses on the Fry Cook Games Plug N' Play has a moment after the SpongeBob CRT is shown. SpongeBob finds it a little creepy that the screen is essentially the TV SpongeBob's mouth (due to the placement of the eyes and nose above it) whilst the video cuts to a still of the CRT with a photo of the inside of a Penguin's mouth edited over the screen.
- In "SpongeBob SquarePants The Idiot Box (Squidward's Sanity Edition)", there is one moment where Patrick recalls imagining himself being alone in a dark forest... before suddenly being mauled by a sea bear, even though the carnage is off-screen, it causes blood to spray on-screen.
- The climax which has Squidward playing with an Oculus Quest and using it to imagine himself killing SpongeBob and Patrick.
- The video with AquaticNeptune playing various SpongeBob-based games on Dreams is mostly made of funny, but one of these games in the video however comes off as more creepy than funny. The submission is nothing but a diorama of Plankton morphed into an Eldritch Abomination whilst Mr. Krabs stands in the foreground armed with a shotgun. Behind Plankton is Bikini Bottom in smoking ruins and all the while, the scene is filtered in blood red. AN himself sounds appropriately a little unnerved.
- The video that talks about the hidden image file in SpongeBob Saves The Day! dubbed as "Yummer" is this. The thumbnail with the bizarre Squidward with realistic eyes doesn't help.
- The near-ending to "THE SONIC POPSICLE IS HORRIFYING". Knuckles pranks Sonic by getting some of the residue from the titular popsicle on his face and claiming it to be "Blue Chickenpox" which is incurable and fatal. When Sonic founds out that it was just a prank, how does he react? By decapitating Knuckles' head and sticking it on a popsicle stick. He does the same to Tails, despite the fact that the latter wasn't involved in the prank and though that Sonic's ailment was genuine.
- Patrick becoming a zombie after eating his own second brain in "GROW IT SPONGEBOB - PATRICK'S NEW BRAIN". His appearance (which provides the page image) is nothing short of terrifying.
- The channel's mini-series focusing on the SpongeBob popsicle makes it more than clear just how unsettling the popsicle is. Made even worse in the series' second video, "THE CURSED SPONGEBOB POPSICLE" when one of said popsicles suddenly becomes sentient and starts stalking SpongeBob with very obvious malevolent intentions which is kicked off when SpongeBob attempts to take a bath only for the lights to briefly go off and when they come back on... the tub is filled with blood.
- Though this may come off as Nightmare Retardant due to SpongeBob revealing it to just be Kool-Aid.
- The sentient popsicle itself looks unnerving due to the red fluid dripping from it's eyes, making it look like it's crying blood.
- At the end of SPONGEBOB GOGURT FOOD POISONING, After Patrick gets teleported to a bathtub after eating bad gogurt, he ends up being brought face to face with the Mickey Mouse of the Seven Seas, a predator that the viewer was lead to believe isn't real due to Patrick's Insane Troll Logic earlier in the video for why Sandy can't take her helment off. However, not only is this creature Real After All, but the moment it lays eye contect with him, it proceeds to DRAG PATRICK INTO THE BATHTUB SCREAMING as the screen turns blood red and the video just ends with him slowly being Eaten Alive by the very monster he tried to warn SpongeBob about earlier.
- A few episodes and months later in GROW IT SPONGEBOB - SQUIDWARDS SUBMARINE, the Mickey Mouse of the Seven Seas returns and subjects Towlie to a similar fate before dragging Patrick into a watery grave again with a clip from the above moment reused. Thankfully, both characters survive this attack since they appear in a couple scenes later.
