The titular Cat Girl
The Singing Catgirl is a side project of Nicky Case. Rather than educational content, it is a series of "lewd queer/furry" animations created mainly for personal indulgence, funded by Patreon support. The first short, "The Femboy Hooters Jingle", was released on March 12, 2022, after 5 months of animation work. - Barbie Doll Anatomy: Although the staff of Femboy Hooters have notable bulges underneath their uniform, the two half-dressed diners don't have any private parts on display.
- Cat Girl: The titular Singing Catgirl is one, mostly cat-like but with a white hairstyle in addition to natural fur.
- Censor Box: In the PG-13 version, one of these covers up an intersex employee exposing their chest at the end of the jingle.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: Although the main singer of the Jingle isn't actually a feminine boy, some of their shown coworkers are.
- Fan Service With A Smile: The establishment is a restaurant catered by feminine boys and transgender/intersex people in booty shorts and tank tops.
- Gag Censor: A picture of a chicken and accompanying "Cluck!" sound censor depictions or mentions of what's underneath the employees' booty shorts. The first use of it is still present in the Mature version, for comedic purposes.
- Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal: The two diners arriving straight from work both wear nothing more than ties and shoes.
- Human Resources: This is implied to be the source of the "Ranch Sauce", and confirmed by a post-credits scene in the Mature version.
- I Ate WHAT?!: One of the diners has a deadpan stare when the song lyrics state "that's not Ranch Sauce you just ate"...before swallowing the rest anyways.
- Non-Indicative Name: Most of the staff of "Femboy Hooters" appear to be trans or intersex;
a note in the credits states "i know femboy [doesn't equal] trans but look i'm trans and femboys are cute and i can make the words do whatever i want, k?" [sic] - Self-Censored Release: Although the base animation has uncensored depictions of intercourse, a PG-13 version was uploaded to Nicky Case's main Twitter account.
- World of Funny Animals: All of the characters in the short are anthropomorphic animals.
