Object Land is an animated web animation that - just like any other Object Show out there - has Animate Inanimate Objects competing for a prize (which, like a few of them, isn't revealed at all). It was hosted by a gemstone named Emerald, and had 18 (later 19 with the addition of Yo-Yo in episode 3) contestants. The original dates of the episode releases were never given (if anyone actually remembers when they were released), but there were only four episodes made for the original series before being scrapped.

A year or so later, a Soft Reboot was created under the title "Object Land Reloaded," which added six new contestants (Bow Tie, Swabby, Buttoney, Lipstick, Sunstone, and Sapphire) along with returning the original 19. Only one, two-part episode was created for the reboot until it was eventually dropped, this time for good...until the creator returned to relieved a one-off treat to his viewers in the form of a second episode.

The show is currently getting a Continuity Reboot under the simple title of Object Land, created by a different person.

Tropes for Object Land include:

  • A Dog Named "Dog": Like almost every object show ever.
  • Alpha Bitch: Of course, you have Lollipop, the selfish diva.
  • Animate Inanimate Object: The show has anthropomorphic objects.
  • Anthropomorphic Food: Some of these characters are based on foods, as you may expect with most other object shows.note
  • Armless Biped: Cheese, Eggy, Gumball, and Toilet Paper are this.
  • Anyone Can Die: Though the RecPads make death cheap.
  • Ascended Fanboy: Buttoney ends up as this in the only OLR episode.
  • Berserk Button:
    • Do not underestimate Lollipop's looks, or she'll blow up...literally. Yo-Yo learned that the hard way.
      • She is also apparently more than just amazing. Just don't say she's amazing.
    • Bow Tie calls Swabby a "ear cleaner" in part 1 of the only OLR episode, which got her triggered there.
  • Cold Open: All episodes have this.
  • Death Is Cheap: Can we thank the RecPad for that?
  • Eject the Loser: Apparently, they send the eliminated contestants to the other island.
  • Fake Mystery: How "Back From the Dead" from Reloaded is kicked off: the show's producer convinces Sunstone to gather a group of investigators...only for it to be a stunt so that they could get new contestants for the Soft Reboot of Object Land.
  • Fictional Counterpart:
    • You heard of eBay, now get ready for gBay.
    • The Object Bureau of Investigation is an obvious one to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
  • Instrumental Theme Tune:
    • The original theme tune is this. The theme got a little longer in episode three of the original series, and then was lengthened again to feature the Investigation Quadruplet in Object Land Reloaded. It was shortened when Object Land Reloaded returned for a one-off treat.
    • The Continuity Reboot has a different theme tune, "Blueshift," which is also instrumental.
  • Hurricane of Puns: In "Ye Olde Scavenger Hunt", Ketchup and Mustard tell fish puns to each other after the cashier rather rudely tells them where the carp is.
  • Kill It with Fire: Straw was set on fire from eating a lava rock in episode 3, and he dies after screaming so much.
  • Location Title: The show takes place on the Object Land, a fictional archipelago.
