Contains the following tropes:

• A Dog Named "Dog": Or An Object Named "Object" in this case.
• Alliterative Name: Two "P"s in Prickly Pear.
• Alliterative Title: Lazy League and its sequel Lazier League.
• Ambiguous Gender: The host and the season one contestants are not confirmed to have any gender due to the voiceless narrative of the show and the fact they are objects. Season two adverts it by stating the current contestants' genders in the description of the first episode.
• Animate Inanimate Object: The entire cast is full of sentient objects of every type as per nature of an Object Show.
• Anthropomorphic Food: There are five food-based Animate Inanimate Objects across the two seasons and are named accordingly.^note Cool Blue Funky Fries, Cookie, Pickly Pear, Lasagna and Vitamins
• Armless Biped: A portion of the contestants either play it straight (Cat Gif, Lasagna, Spotlight), invert it (Europa) or are just limbless (Monday).
• Bait-and-Switch: At Prickly Pear and Default Powerpoint Shape elimination, the former was picked up by a crane claw while the latter point and laughs at them, thinking they are eliminated. Then the ground suddenly disappears beneath them and Default Powerpoint Shape falls into the abyss below, revealing he got more votes over Prickly Pear.
• Immediate Sequel: Just mere moments after giving away his spray can in the finale, the host pulls out his hoverboard... only for a whole new set of eight objects to show up alongside two returnees wanting his stuff again. He has no choice but to settle it with another contest.
• Irony: Men's Restroom Sign identifying as female is a juxtaposition within itself.
• Mime and Music-Only Cartoon: There is no sound as the characters only talk in pictogram speech bubbles.
• Minimalist Cast: Lazy League consists of one Game Show Host and a modest eight contestants. Lazier League only increases the contestant count to ten.
• The Voiceless: Since this is a Mime and Music-Only Cartoon, none of the characters have a voice and "speak" using pictured speech bubbles.
