Helluva Boss vs. Murder Drones is a fanmade animation by MORĂ˜ Productions, featuring a Crossover between Helluva Boss (by Vivienne Medrano) and Murder Drones (by Liam Vickers and GLITCH Productions).

I.M.P. is hired to blow up a bunker on another planet. What they aren't informed about are the robots on said planet. Upon their arrival, Uzi and N pick up on their signatures and go to investigate. When the imps blow up the bunker, a conflict ensues.

The short can be viewed here. Due to its 10-minute runtime, all spoilers will be unmarked.

Tropes:

  • Bag of Holding: Blitzo's "void briefcase", as the subtitles describe the successor to Blitzo's Emergen-C Bag as the deceptively undersized carrying case for Blitzo's BFG of a rocket launcher.
  • Bearer of Bad News: Due to V destroying the book at the start of the fight, Blitzo has to inform Stolas about it as shown in the credits.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Just as Solver!Uzi is about to finish Blitzo off, Stolas arrives in time to protect him.
  • The Cameo: Tessa makes a cameo during the end credits, showing her encounter with Uzi's team at the end of Murder Drones episode 5, indicating the events of the short happen during that episode.
  • Cue the Sun: The moment Stolas makes his entrance, the sun also comes out, which N had warned Uzi about earlier in the episode since sunlight is lethal to Solver-infected drones like themselves.
  • Curb Stomp Cushion: It was pretty clear ahead of time that the imps stood no chance against the drones. Of course, they are allowed to put up something of a fight, with Millie slicing V's head off, as well as her and N getting accidentally knocked out by Uzi going into Solver Mode.
  • Designated Girl Fight: Millie vs V. Like Uzi and N, V wins but not without Millie managing to take V's head off.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: After blowing up the bunker, A shot of Blitzo's phone has him quickly swipe aside a text conversation between him and Stolas. The messages show Stolas using his astronomical knowledge to inform Blitzo about Copper 9.
  • Friendly Enemy: N is the nicest of the drone team as he introduces himself to the imps. Likewise, Moxxie is polite among the imps as he attempts to do the same before getting punched by Blitzo. The two of them even act nice to one another during the fight.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: While the drones have no qualms fighting the imps, they back out once Stolas arrives, which is compounded by the sunrise (which would cause the drones' death by overheating) and the fact that Cyn was about to take over Uzi completely.
  • Losing Your Head: Millie manages to slice V's head off, though V recovers thanks to the Murder Drones' Healing Factor.
  • Man Versus Machine: Well demon versus machine, but the imps are pretty close to man in this scenario. Machines win...until Stolas shows up and the sun rises, stacking the cards against the drones.
  • One-Winged Angel: Uzi goes into her Solver mode near the end of the fight. This gets her to turn the tables on Blitzo, but it also leads her to being taken over by Cyn, who nearly throws down with Stolas before N pulls her out of there.
  • Tactical Withdrawal: Even though the drones are victorious against the imps, the tide turns against them moment Stolas shows up and the sun comes out, so N grabs Uzi and retreats with V just as Cyn takes over Uzi and prepares to take Stolas on.
  • Shout-Out: N's reaction to Uzi swearing.
  • Tempting Fate:
    • Upon accepting the commission to blow up a bunker, Moxxie states that he hopes it isn't something they will regret. One Gilligan Cut and they are complaining about regretting it over the weather of the planet. They also regret it more when they are beaten to near death by the drones on the planet.
    • After they blow up the bunker, the Moxxie states that the job was a nice change of pace while also stating they need to leave before they are spotted. Before they can use the book to leave, V destroys the book, prompting a fight between the two sides.
  • Throwing Your Gun at the Enemy: The moment Blitzo runs out of ammo, he throws his gun at Uzi. Uzi responds by throwing it back and making copies to throw more.
  • Trigger-Happy: V's first act with the imps is to try and shoot them. N lampshades the nature.
N: Y'know? Maybe we should hold off on shooting people as our immediate response.
  • Unfriendly Fire: Solver!Uzi ends up accidentally taking out N and V this way, blowing them up with a redirected missile from Blitzo.
  • The Voiceless: Cyn and Stolas appear after the fight proper is finished (the former possessing Uzi), but neither utters a word.
