Anonymous, or Anonymous Hacker Trolling, is an original Web Animation series first made by a YouTuber known as LT.LICK ME in 2014. First known for his COD Montage Videos, he would later delve into the genre of Voice Trolling, and became 'part of Anonymous', where he would seemingly enter public servers and target seemingly random people, and later bullies and wrongdoers, and say their name and address to scare them into thinking they were in danger. Both this series and the Stalker series were later rebooted into The Watchers.
Tropes in Anonymous Hacker Trolling include:
- Ambiguous Time Period: The setting of their universe is currently unknown. However, as the character managed to get into a civil war with the Watcher, it is implied that they might share the same futuristic universe as the Watchers, with the exact time period currently unknown to the audience.
- And You Thought It Was Real: Similar to the Watchers series, this series was created with the majority consensus from the audience that the series was real. Until LT eventually revealed that most of his videos were fabricated, the majority of the audience still assumed that the series was real, and that the trolling was real.
- Bad Powers, Good People: This one applies strongly to Anonymous. He has a moral compass, yet his powers can be quite dangerous, which ranges from hacking a person's location and finding their address, to affecting their environment, like activating a car alarm near their house, and turning off their lights.
- Cruel Mercy: Liam's brother decides to spare Liam's bully, in order for him to live with his crimes and remember the consequences they caused.
- Driven to Suicide: In episode 14, Liam commits suicide due to bullying.
- Intercontinuity Crossover: Anonymous crosses over with Mr Steal Your Girl, and Missed Call Trolling, both series by LT himself.
- Machine Monotone: Whenever this character talks, his voice is monotone, paired with a strong cybernetic touch to it.
- My God, What Have I Done?: In episode 14. A child died due to excessive bullying and depression, and when his bully's mother heard that her son bullied another child to death, she asked this question to herself, and her son. The son also asked the same question to himself as well.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When the usually law-and-order Anonymous asks for the chaotic Watcher to join him in another contract, you know this is serious business.
- Remember When You Blew Up a Sun?: Anonymous to the Watcher, to remind and mock the Watcher about him disguising his first episode as an Anonymous episode.Anonymous: Do you remember? Mr Popular?
- Third Party Stops Attack: In the Watchers Episode 7, they called the police on Corbin, stopping the Watcher from assaulting Corbin's psyche further. Man, what a bunch of poopers.
- You Are Number 6: The old intro introduces the viewer as User #14560. Welcome, fellow Anonymous members.
