WMG / Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE

Go To

The dude with the glowing eyes and collar around his mouth is an evil version of Chrom
If you look closely at him, you'll see that he bears an eerie resemblance to Chrom. Though how this is possible, it could be a ton of things; maybe Chrom went crazy for some reason, it could a clone, he got possessed somehow, anything!
  • It is Chrom, but he appears to be helping the heroes, so he's not evil.

Kiria is a satirical idol singer.
As in, she deliberately writes catchy, upbeat-sounding songs with incongruously nihilistic lyrics as a way of trolling the marketers/distributors/what have you. Kiria knows that people can enjoy such songs without the messages flying over their heads, so the joke isn't on her fans.

Fire Emblem's gods will appear as demons
Assuming that there are summonable demons in this game. Since a lot of gods appear in most SMT games, it would make sense for Fire Emblem's gods to make some appearance. The gods that appear would include Naga, Grima, Loptous, Medeus, Jugdral's Twelve Crusaders, Forseti, the Deadlords, and Anna.

Cain, Caeda and Chrom represent the Three wise monkeys.
Cain's helmet has horns covering his ears (hear no evil), Caeda's helmet covers her eyes (see no evil), and Chrom's collar covers his mouth (speak no evil).

Eleanora's Mirage is...
  • Virion (Archer with Light blue hair, like her transformed form)
    • Confirmed!
  • Noire (Same as the above, with the bonus of being female)
  • Briggid (Resembles the Mirage portrait seen E3 treehouse coverage)

At least one character has multiple Mirages
Because Fire Emblem has a large cast, it would be a bit of a waste to have only a few Mirages. Maybe the main characters have more Mirages that go with their theme; Lords, Pegasus Knights, Cavaliers/Lance Knights/Axe Knights, and Mages/Dark Mages.

At some point, the characters sing Together We Ride, the Fire Emblem Theme, and/or a bunch of other popular Fire Emblem songs
They're popular already. Maybe not under those titles, but with the rhythm.
  • Confirmed - they sing the Fire Emblem theme before facing off against the final boss

Shimazaki's Mirage is a Crutch Character
Maybe Jeigan, or Eyvel.

There is a rival who uses a Camus Archtype Mirage
Or the main antagonist uses a Camus Archtype.

Kurono's Mirage is Canas
Because the other known Mirages are Chrom, Caeda, and Cain, the fourth one would also start with a C. Canas uses dark magic, which goes with Kurono's black color scheme.
  • Jossed. It's Tharja.

Lucina is dead
It explains why Chrom has two Falchions.

The plot will have story elements from Persona 4: Dancing All Night

Barry Goodman's Mirage is either an Axe Fighter like Vaike, or Ogma
Most of the major FE archetypes have been covered by now: The Lord, the Shiida (Pegasus Knight), the Cain (Red Cavalier), the Gordin (archer), the Mage and the Draug (Armour Knight). The Ogma or Bord/Cord aren't covered yet, and both would fit with his looks. Though I'm leaning towards Ogma as the team already has an Axe user but doesn't have a second sword user yet despite swords being one of the more common FE weapons.
  • Maybe it's Dagdar, the Team Dad of Thracia.

Yashiro Tsurugi's Mirage is...
  • Navarre. Yashiro seems to have dark hair in his Carnage Form and Navarre is from the first Fire Emblem game. According to the devs, most of the Mirages are either from the first game or Awakening.
    • Confirmed!
  • Lon'qu. Also a dark-haired Myrmidon, this time from Awakening.
  • Lyn: This gives him a female Mirage to match with Mamori and Elly having male ones. Also, "most" implies that at least one of the Mirages won't be from Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi or Awakening.
  • Ayra. Another dark haired myrmidon popular with those who played Fire Emblem 4, so that Jugdral won't get left out. She's an Ensemble Dark Horse as well.
  • Shannan. Tsurugi looks a bit princely, and Shannan is a prince who isn't a lord. He also acts as Seliph's older brother, kind of like Tsurugi seems to be more experienced.
  • Shannam. Or maybe Yashiro has an identical twin brother who resents him. One has Shannan, and the other has Shannam.

All the Archtypes will be filled.
This is really to predict any other Mirage users' Mirages before the users come out.
  • Lord: Confirmed as Chrom
  • Jeigan: Probably Jeigan, Oifey, Shannan, Finn, Marcus, Titania, or Frederick.
  • Caeda: Confirmed as Caeda.
  • Cain and Abel: Confirmed as Cain
  • Lena: Lena, Adean, Lana, Safy, Tina, Serra, Lissa.
  • Maybe Maria instead: Maria, Ethlyn, Nanna, Maribelle, Priscilla. Healers who have better fighting potential.
  • Julian: Julian, Dew, Patty, Daisy, Lifis, Chad, Matthew, Volke, Sothe, Gaius.
  • Est: Est, Nino, Donnel, Sophia, Corpul, Sharlow...
  • Feena (since idol singers do dance, dancers would be logical. A Dancer Mirage would be The Ace): Feena, Sylvia, Leen, Layla, Lalum, Ninian, Tethys, Olivia.
  • Navarre (not to be mistaken for the Shin Megami Tensei IV samurai): Navarre, Ayra, Holyn, Ulster, Larcei, Shanam, Shannan, Guy, Karel, Karla, Stefan (Maybe Stefan would be really hard to obtain)...
    • Confirmed with Navarre himself and Lon'qu.
  • Of course, the Camus archtype as an Anti-Villain: Camus, Elidgan, Ishtar, Mustafa...

A pair of Idol Singer siblings will have one of the following pairs. They are considered one unit in battle. Gender is interchangeable
  • Shannan and Shannam, despite not being related. They look identical, and their Mirage Users will lament this. Shannam uses Shannan's clean image to get away with things Shannan disapproves of.
  • Julius and Julia. One plays off a 'bad boy' image, and the other is The Ingenue. Their Ultimate Attack is a Yin-Yang Bomb.
  • Johan and Johalva. They constantly fight, but the main characters have the chance to only save one of them.
  • Lugh and Raigh. They also look identical, and compete against each other. You find the Lugh first, but he can only fight after you find Raigh.
  • Lester and Lana. They're a Bow Knight and a Healer respectively. They have a very diverse movepool.
  • Leif and Altena. A Game-Breaker and a Holy Weapon user.

Maiko's mirage partner will be a dancer.
So far, the names of the protagonists references the class their mirage partner belongs to. Maiko's name means "dance child", thus it wouldn't be far-fetched to believe she'd have a dancer as her partner.
  • Her partner will be either Tethys or Sylvia, depending on whether they are similar or contrast. Tethys is a Cool Big Sis, while Sylvia is one of the youngest playable characters at 14 (and becomes the mother of two).
  • She'll likely be Olivia, given the trend of Awakening characters. The first dancer actually came from the third game.

There will only be one protagonist Mirage who isn't from Shadow Dragon or Awakening.
Just... at least one who isn't from either! It will be someone missable or obscure, like the substitute children from Genealogy, the units from DS Shadow Dragon you only get if you kill your units, or Stefan.

Now that enemy mirages that were playable characters have been confirmed, the following units will be enemies made to contrast with the players
Lon'qu and Abel to contrast with Navarre and Cain have been confirmed.
  • Marth or Lucina, to contrast with Chrom. Chrom finds Marth familiar for some reason, but Marth doesn't recognize him. Caeda will have some conflict with him. Lucina appears as an enigmatic enemy, and Chrom says that he feels sad when he sees her. They are never able to directly attack each other.
  • Minerva, to contrast with Caeda. Due to branched promoted classes, Pegasus Knights used to turn into Dragon Knights. Both Minerva and Caeda are princesses, but Minerva is an accomplished general while Caeda starts as a border princess.
    • Aversa seems like she's going to be Caeda's Evil Counterpart, especially since it has been confirmed she'll be using Tsubasa's sister as her partner.
  • Any of the Whitewings.
    • Apparently, the Whitewings do appear.
  • Henry, to contrast with Tharja. Both are polar opposite dark mages, and Henry is the more unhinged.
  • Canas, to contrast with Tharja. Canas is arguably the nicest dark mage.
  • Miriel, also with Tharja. May be a regular mage, but can reclass.
  • Noire, just because she's Tharja's daughter. Or maybe she's Virion's contrast.
  • Salem, the first playable dark mage. He also has one of the darkest pasts of the dark mages.
  • Homer. He's not a dark mage or even called a mage, but is a magic using bard. He's a good singer, which irks Kiria.
  • Gordon, the first playable archer contrasts with Virion. He's a knight while Virion is a duke.
  • Castor, as the second playable bow user.
  • Or, if Lon'qu and Abel are single bosses, then EVERYONE will be a boss.
  • At this point, dancers are unconfirmed. As Awakening's Dancer (Fire Emblem didn't have a dancer class until 3), Olivia seems the most likely. Feena could contrast, but Sylvia would be very different from Olivia.

Xane will finally make a reappearance
Because he wasn't in Awakening, and he knows Tiki. He will thoroughly confuse everyone. Then he gets roped into being a body double for photo shoots or something.

A bard mirage would be playable
After all, the setting is 'idol singer'.
  • Lewyn would be the Game-Breaker.
  • Homer would appear by flirting with Tsubasa (because like Nanna, she's the childhood friend), and she forcibly recruits him.
  • Elphin would be a support unit you only get if you don't recruit your dancer.
  • Nils would seem like a useless unit, but then he turns into a dragon.

Like in SMTIV, what seems like a straightforward story will turn dark really quickly
Judging by SMT's reputation. Then one of the manaketes turn up and explain what happened to the Mirage World, and that it was originally the FE world.

At some point, the mirages will return to their original game forms
And then Oribe will be shocked that Caeda is much younger than her.

The localized version will be an Affectionate Parody

Kiria writes her own songs
"Reincarnation", "The Labyrinth", and "Give Me!" all perfectly reflect wherever Kiria currently is, emotionally. That's because she wrote them as a way to deal with her feelings.

Since Maiko and Barry are confirmed to be playable in the Switch remake...
...their Mirages will be Manuela and Alois.
