WMG / THE MONUMENT MYTHOS

As a WMG page all spoilers are unmarked!

The Arnoldson Family is Related to Benedict Arnold
At some point, it's going to be revealed that Benedict Arnold betrayed the Revolution due to the secrets behind the Monuments... or he acted as George Washington's double and learned the truth.

A part of the ADA are from Alternate Universes
More specifically, from universes closer to our own, without any of the Eldritch Abominations from the main Monument Mythos universe. Because of this, they are aware of how wrong everything is, and are trying to fix it.

George Washington performed an occult ritual at a Special Tree which transformed him into the Horned Serpent
George Washington in this world, rather than cut down a cherry tree (or apple as described by Virginia), appears in ADA propaganda to have performed some sort of ritual with a Special Tree. Perhaps it was a Deal with the Devil to give the fledgling Independence movement the strength to defend itself against the British. Only something went horribly wrong and he was warped into a terrifying monster. The rest of the Founding Fathers used a doppelganger for their commanding general, while the "first president" in fact became a dark god to the new world.
  • Not WMG that's completely what happened.
    • when was that confirmed?

The Presidents of the United States are all puppets for the Horned Serpent.
It's already been established that the Horned Serpent can invade people's dreams, as it influenced the creation of the Statue of Progress and the Suez Canal. What's more, AIRFORCEONEFALLENANGEL refers to it as the "true ruler of this world", rather than it being the current president Al Gore. So, in a way, perhaps the Horned Serpent is the true ruler of the United States, using the "Presidents" such as James Dean, Rockefeller, or Al Gore as mere ways to influence the world.

The universe we saw destroyed in ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE was not the original universe of the series, but rather the one Virginia fell into, and the one that Alex came to was not ours, but another Deanverse.
As revealed in this episode, the Leonard Morlin we've seen throughout multiple episodes was the husband of Virginia and father of Everett. Seeing as how Virginia met him in the alternate universe she went to, either both Virginias' met Leonards' and gave birth to Everetts', or the one she went to is the one that was destroyed. However far more notably, the very last part, recorded moments before the destruction of that Earth, features a warning at the beginning for "post-implant viewers who are sensitive to loud noises." Why, if Cthonaut Alex came to our world, would he have included a warning for people with an implant that does not exist in our world? It only makes sense if he escaped to another world where such implants would be compulsory.

The Horned Serpent is still alive in (or AS) the Cornerworld
ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE heavily implies that the Cornerworld and the Deanverse are one and the same. In CORNERFOLK, Riley says that he keeps dreaming about the Cornerworld and implies that it has some sort of hypnotic effect on him. This reminds of the Horned Serpent, who can enter people's dreams and is also implied to have some sort of hypnotic effect on people.

The members of the ADA who got transported to the Nixonverse back in DEANDISASTER will form a Legion of Doom against the Last Son
Given that the Last Son is heavily implied to bear some kind of relation with James Dean, the remaining ADA members will naturally try to stop him, founding the fourth ADA.

An Aquaman Expy will be the focus of an Atlantis-based episode
Season 3 has been dipping itself into being focused on horror based superheroes, what with the Last Son of Alcatraz/D-Day Knight being a dark version of Superman and the Queen of the Lunarians likely being a version of Wonder Woman. As Atlantis has already been mentioned by Word of God to get focus in the future, it's likely we'll get an episode focusing on both Atlantis and a guardian based off of Aquaman.

The coming of the D-Day Knight caused a Crisis of Faith across America that led to it becoming it's current Fundamentalist self.
Following the Normandy landings, Alice Avenue notes how the Knight flies in the face of the concept of Determinism, existing outside a predetermined framework and completely altering the course of everything he touches. Perhaps the United States during this time followed Determinism as an ideology instead of any belief system that it had in our timeline. If so, the Knight truly did change course of everything, as this philosophy is completely incompatible with the existence of such a being. With such a massive upheaval in culture and belief, it makes sense that America would go to faith to give some semblance of stability, in particular when an entity claiming to be "God" showed up.

The Debate Demon and the Monument Monster are fragments of the Horned Serpent.

The Monument Monster is the AU version of the Bat(s) from Billy Bat.
