In DEANDEMOCRACY, the USS Enterprise of Star Trek is seen flying when it's stated that Dean's political campaign would become the biggest sensation on television since Star Trek. The interesting part however, is that the Enterprise flies in the opposite direction it is usually shown flying. This is done only two times in the entirety of the original series; and on one of those occasions was an episode called "Mirror, Mirror." What was the plot of said episode? Captain Kirk ending up in an alternate universe where things are far, far worse than they are normally. It's an almost fitting representation of the differences between the world of The Monument Mythos and the real world.
Alcatraz's ability to split itself into multiple copies seems bizarre at first. However, upon looking at the island itself from above, one would realize that the entire island is shaped like a unicellular organism. It works even further when one isolates the word "cellular" on its own. Alcatraz is a prison, of course it has cells!
If you try to search up the images used in the Monument Mythos on the internet, like Thomas Crawford's portrait or the Rockefeller Plaza, you can find them, but you would notice something: they are reversed. They are backwards. Like human anatomy, something being backwards signifies that it's from the parallel universe, which would also explain the USS Enterprise from the top entry.
Adding to this, the fact that every image used in the Nixonverse is also a mirrored version of a real-world image is a massive hint (before it was revealed in THE ED DWIGHT PARADOX, anyway) that, despite its name, it still does not take place in our universe.
James Dean in the series is famously known for his love of racing cars. How did James Dean die in the real world? He was driving too fast and got in a car crash!
ALCATRAZAPOCALYSE implies that Lauren was the second Doctor Disturbing, who coincidentally made the ROCKEFELLERRELEVATION video in-universe. ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE shows us the Arnoldson Bloodline meet its end as both Lauren and her brother Quinn fall off from two "giant balloons" in the Grand Canyon, implying that these two "balloons" were none other than Maya and Nathaniel's crowns being used as Rockefellers.
The quote on the main work page from Thomas Jefferson, which shows up In-Universe in ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE, can be interpreted rather literally:
The Tree of Liberty can be interpreted as either the Special Trees, or possibly the Horned Serpent (aka George Washington).
Said tree is watered by the blood of patriots and tyrants, which can be interpreted in multiple ways, such as sacrificing political dissidents to the Special Trees and entities like Freedom or the Giza Guardians decapitating them, or alternatively people being fed as literal sacrifices to the Horned Serpent ensconced beneath the Statue of Liberty.
Although Alcatraz replicating the United States (and, it's implied, Earth as a whole) is horrifying, it definitely helps explain how the Cornerfolk survived the destruction of the Deanverse: being "copied" by an eldritch, self-replicating cell and then housed in what's implied to be the remains of Wonderland definitely has its advantages.
In THE LAST SON OF ALCATRAZ Ed Dwight says that he thinks that the Last Son will become a giant and conquer the Earth. Come SEA OF THE LAST SON, we see that he did, in fact, become a giant that may very well conquer the Earth.
During JESUS IN VIETNAM, the Peace Equation is depicted over an image of the Shroud of Turin, a relic which is supposedly the burial shroud of Jesus Christ, onto which his face has been imprinted; in reality, however, the Shroud has been debunked as a 13th-14th century fake for decades. This serves as some particularly subtle foreshadowing that the "Jesus" we are seeing is not the real thing, but rather an impostor "created" by the US government far more recently.
The D-Day Knight, AKA Frank Sinatra, is explicitly one of the only beings in the Nixonverse with true free will, even being able to completely disregard the same Lunarians' prophecies that the Last Son fell under. One could say that he does things his way. On a similar bend, he was indeed flown to the moon to accomplish his goal.
A lot of the shitty video quality of the anomalies can be explained by the slow technological advancements of each 'verse. Every technological advancement serves as a major threat, as said anomalies have been shown time and time again to hijack humanity's innovations and kill a lot of people with them. Naturally, innovation would be slower in those universes compared to ours.
This can also be seen with the air-raid sirens. You would think there would be a maximum volume the sirens could reach, or at least some kind of safety precaution to prevent the sirens from becoming too loud. That is, until you realize that a lot of safety precautions are put into place because of a horrible accident occurring. Since the 'verses are farther behind in technology compared to us, they likely never thought of putting air-raid precautions in the first place.
Fridge Horror
Virginia is said to have undergone two lobotomies in WASHINGTONWONDERLAND, both of which failed. Then, you remember that every single one of her organs are mirrored from what is typical of the Deanverse, meaning that for all we know, the doctors could very well have been operating on thewrong side of her brainthe whole time. This is basically confirmed when it is said her second lobotomy removed her ability to speak. Speech and memory are handled on opposite hemispheres of the brain.
At the end of SUEZCANALCRAB, Cairo is declared a Heritage Site after the events that occur. Heritage Sites, usually, exist as another term for national monuments. Essentially, all of the people whose bodies were crushed together became a monument like Freedom or the Angel.
In D-DAY KNIGHTFALL, the Knight explains that the reason he attacked Alice was because he "lost his temper." How many other people did he kill or severely injure just because they ticked him off?
In the same video, we have a segment of a statue (which we later learn is a statue of Alice Avenue) morphing, even losing its mouth at a few points. Before that, we're told that the Knight came from a world in which statues have souls. Now consider the fact that the Knight said that Alice was alive, not that she survived the fall. Who's to say her soul isn't in the statue, forever trapped?
In THE ED DWIGHT PARADOX, Nixon explicitly states that the Nixonverse will only remain fiction if people believe it's fiction. What's going to happen now that we have this information and know that the Nixonverse is something that has happened in-universe?
