Ashka from first series is not the same as Ashka from the second

There are few and in-between differences between her portray in both series, while also quite jarring differences in what Ashka should know already by the time of second series. Alt!Australia proved you can have very, very close parallels, so it's a possibility Kathy and Mek picked up someone from such close parallel to the original Spellbinder's world.
