This is a "Wild Mass Guess" entry, where we pull out all the sanity stops on theorizing. The regular entry on this topic is elsewhere. Please see this programme note.
Sorting Algorithm of Mortality
To use the Sorting Algorithm of Mortality, simply add the Scream Score for each applicable row, then divide by the number of applicable rows (at this point, 13 or fewer). Remember: this is a relative score, so you need at least 3 characters from the same movie or series to establish a baseline. The original article is here. For characters who have already snuffed it, see Sorting Algorithm of Deadness.

Example Cast:

Series or Film Name Description of who's who and why they're likely to snuff it.
  • Character A:
    • Row 1: Value 5-1
    • Row 2: Value 5-1
    • Row 3: Value 5-1
      • Total divided by rows: Final score and witty pun
  • Character B:
    • Row 1: Value 5-1
    • Row 2: Value 5-1
    • Row 3: Value 5-1
      • Total divided by rows: Final score and witty pun
  • Character C:
    • Row 1: Value 5-1
    • Row 2: Value 5-1
    • Row 3: Value 5-1
      • Total divided by rows: Final score and witty pun

Scandinavia and the World

  • Character A- Denmark
    • Row 1: Age: Mid 20s, but really 1700 years so- 3
    • Row 2: Sexuality: OMNISEXUAL- 5
    • Row 3: Role: Goes from Lancer to Hero- 1
    • Row 4: Aesthetic: Slightly above average- 2
    • Row 5: Personality: Pervert with a heart of gold- 4
    • Row 6: Virtues: Uhhh... Nice Guy?- 3
    • Row 7: Flaws: Anything That Moves, wait anything ever- 5
      • Final Score: 3.3, I'm honestly quite surprised. Tho, I still think he'd be the first to do die if another cast member gets a "3" score.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

  • Character A: Toph
    • Row 1: Age: Toph's just a little kid! So, 1.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Despite that accidental kiss with Suki, Toph is pretty straight, lusting after Sokka a few times. 3.
    • Row 3: Role: Falls anywhere from Loner to Plucky Comic Relief to The Lancer. I suppose I'll go ahead and give her a 3.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Katara called her "pretty" once, but as far as looks go, she doesn't compare to the show's more beautiful characters. Her appearance on the whole is pretty average. 3.
    • Row 5: Personality: Starts out rough around the edges, but she's nice overall. Definitely a Jerk with a Heart of Gold. 3.
    • Row 6: Flaws: Well, she's blind. Not Blind Without 'Em, just blind. I suppose that still counts as a 3.
    • Row 7: Virtues: Action Girl all the way. A 2.
      • Total divided by rows: 18/7 = 2.57. Aang's ambiguous vision aside, it looks like Toph's probably safe, though in a show that's as close as an American cartoon can get to Anyone Can Die, she might still get it. Definitely not a foregone conclusion as some would have you believe.

  • Character B: Azula
    • Row 1: Age: A monstrous teen to be sure. 4.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Depending on what you take "my favorite prisoner" to mean, Azula's either a Psycho Lesbian or simply someone who's bad with boys or hates people too much to love anyone. Hard to place her here, but based on "The Beach", I'll say she's reluctant and give her a 2.
    • Row 3: Role: Villain all the way. 5.
    • Row 4: Virtues: Nothing listed for looks, personality (she's a bitch but not a nihilist) or Flaws that really apply to her, so skipping straight to this one, and giving her Genre Savvy for 3.
    • Row 5: Occupation: Military Commander, sort of. 4.
      • Total divided by rows: 18/5 = 3.6, meaning she's more likely than not to meet a well-deserved end, but there's still a chance for the heroes to spare, or even reform her. Again, Nick's not afraid to bump off adult villains (Zhao) but killing off a 14-year-old girl might be beyond the pale even for them. Jet and Yue were slightly older.
      • Update: Indeed, the heroes have spared her life in the end. No reforming though. It is possible, but it would most likely take an ungodly amount of therapy.

  • Character C: Aang
    • Row 1: Age: Again, he's a little kid. So, 1.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight or Celibate, but most likely straight, as previous Avatar Roku has shown. 3.
    • Row 3: Role: Hero all the way. 1.
    • Row 4: Personality: As Messainic as they come. 1.
    • Row 5: Occupation: Super Hero, big time. 1.
      • Total divided by rows: 7/5 = 1.4. While there's always the chance Mike and Bryan could go for a Matrix-style Messainic sacrifice, I really don't think that would happen to this brave and adorable little guy. Aang's pretty darn close to immortality if you ask me.

  • Character D: Sokka
    • Row 1: Age: Protagonist Teen, so 2.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight, was in love with Princess Yue, kissed Sukki so not quite Reluctant anymore, 3.
    • Row 3: Role: Falls anywhere from Loner to Plucky Comic Relief to The Smart Guy to The Chick. Let's say 4.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Not ugly, but he's far from being as good looking as many a minor character, so "Average" for 3.
    • Row 5: Personality: A Deadpan Snarker and comic relif character, which are un-plotted. Still, the funny guy tends to either go first or not at all, so lets be cautious with 3.
    • Row 6: Flaws: He's very skeptical, to the point of almost Arbitrary Skepticism, so that's a 5 right there.
    • Row 7: Virtues: He is Genre Savvy though, so that's a 3.
      • Total divided by rows: 23/7 = 3.28. ... Well, he'll hopefully outlast Azula, but it seems we've found one of the more expendable members of the Gaang.

  • Character E: Zuko
    • Row 1: Age: Protagonist Teen, so 2.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight and in love with Mai, so 3.
    • Row 3: Role: Not quite The Lancer, not quite a Plucky Comic Relief. Split the difference for 3.5
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Fashionably scarred for 2.
    • Row 5: Personality: Jerk with a Heart of Gold and an atoner, let's say for 3.5.
    • Row 6: Flaws: Very realistic in an idealistic series, so 4.
    • Row 7: Virtues: He is Genre Savvy though, so that's a 3.
      • Total divided by rows: 21/7 = for a clean 3. Seems Redemption Equals Death will be a cloud in Zuko's horizon as part of the Gaang.

  • Character F: Katara
    • Row 1: Age: Definitely a Protagonist Teen. 2.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation:She seems... reluctant. 2.
    • Row 3: Role: Since they don't have Team Mom up there, probably The Lancer. 3.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Not incredibly one way or the other (sensing a theme here?). 3.
    • Row 5: Personality: Has some elements of Messianic Archetype, so 1.
    • Row 6: Flaws: Has elements of a 5, but those don't last too long, so I'm going with a 4.
    • Row 7: Virtues: Part Action Girl, part Pollyanna. 1.5
      • Total divided by rows: 16.5/7= 2.36. Katara doesn't seem likely to die anytime soon. Note: This is about the only piece of news good for both Zutara and Kataang fans.

  • Answers: Nope, Everybody Lives! However, it does following in the sense: Azula goes crazy, and Sokka and Zuko are the only ones injured.

Megatokyo

  • Character A: Piro
    • Row 1: Age: Single adult, so 3.
    • Row 2: Sexual orientation: Seems to have no trouble attracting girls and isn't explicitly celibate, but avoids relationships. 2.
    • Row 3: Love interest: Romance show. 3.
    • Row 4: Role: Hero. 1.
    • Row 5: Race: Caucasion. 1.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: "Average". 3.
    • Row 7: Personality: He's oblivious to most important things, making him The Ditz. 4.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Wears glasses (literally). 3.
    • Row 9: Virtue: Quiet Guy. 4.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Innocent bystander. 3.
      • Total divided by rows: 30/11 = 2.72. The fact that he is very explicitly and undeniably an author avatar pretty much insures that he will at least live to the end of the series regardless of relative scores.

  • Character B: Largo
    • Row 1: Age: Single adult. 3.
    • Row 2: Sexual orientation: Celibate. 1.
    • Row 3: Love interest: Romance show. 3.
    • Row 4: Role: Plucky comic relief. 4.
    • Row 5: Race: Caucasion. 1.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: "Average". 3.
    • Row 7: Personality: Would probably qualify as The Fool due to his inability to handle anything outside the realm of computers or games, yet his incredible luck keeping him afloat. 4.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Mentally handicapped (maybe not literally, but yeah). 1.
    • Row 9: Virtue: Pollyanna. 1.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Could probably count as something between Innocent Bystander and Super Hero, so 2.
      • Total divided by rows: 26/11 = 2.36. He's not going to die any time soon.

  • Character C: Ping
    • Row 1: Age: Appears to be a young adult, but has the mind of a child. 2.
    • Row 2: Sexual orientation: Celibate. 1.
    • Row 3: Love interest: N/A
    • Row 4: Role: Plucky comic relief. 4.
    • Row 5: Race: Appears Asian. 3.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: The Cutie. 1.
    • Row 7: Personality: The Ditz. 4.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Both Genre Blind and Too Dumb To Live. 5.
    • Row 9: Virtue: Pollyanna. 1.
    • Row 10: Species: Robot. 5.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Innocent bystander. 3.
      • Total divided by rows: 29/10 = 2.9. Despite this, the fact that she is a C-list character and could have her death be easily reverted makes her probably close to the top for death.

Stargate Atlantis

  • Character A: Dr. Beckett

    • Row 1: Age: Early 40s (apparent) at most. 3
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: You can't count Rodney. 3.
    • Row 4: Role: A major character, but not part of Atlantis-1. 3
    • Row 5: Race: Very white. 1.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Well, he attracted the hot soldier, but let's put it at 3.
    • Row 7: Personality: He's kind of a nerd, but as a doctor who even treats the enemy...split the difference. 2.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Serious technophobe. 2.
    • Row 9: Virtues: The smart, quiet guy 3.5.
    • Row 10: Species: He's a clone. Lousy Word of God-breaking...4.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Takes a hit for being on a military mission (4) and possibly carrying the karma for "Michael". 3.5.
      • Total divided by rows: 27/11 = 2.45. Nearly dead center, but closer to 2 than 3. He may spend next season on ice, but might see daylight again, maybe even to help beat Michael, making him The Atoner.

  • Character B: Administrator Richard Woolsey

    • Row 1: Age: Middle-aged, single, and definitely not that wise. Single Adult = 3.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Has apparently never come up. At all. I'm putting him down as married to his work. 1.
    • Row 4: Role: Started as a single-episode Obstructive Bureaucrat, then became a regular supporting character, and is now a member of the main cast. So, somewhere between Mauve Shirt and Series Regular. 3.5.
    • Row 5: Race: The Whitest Man Alive. 1.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Has never been mentioned on the show, see Row 2. I'm putting him down as genuinely average, rather than Hollywood Homely. 3.5.
    • Row 7: Personality: An Obstructive Bureaucrat, but the writers seem to be slowly growing him a spine, especially now he's joined the main cast. He also was always portrayed with good intentions (despite always trying to shut the Heroes down), so I guess he'd also quality as the Jerk with a Heart of Gold. I'll split the difference and give him 3.5.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Skeptical and Genre Blind (in a show where most characters are Genre Savvy). 5.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Pragmatic. Oh so very much. 5.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: A civilian administrator rather than a Military Commander, but similar career role. 4.
    • Average = 32.5 / 10 = 3.25. Things aren't looking too good for Mr. Woolsey's long-term career prospects. I mean, honestly, Atlantis goes through administrators like Hogwarts goes through Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers. And that's not even bringing into consideration the fact that he just recently killed his established, more popular predecessor!.

  • Character C: Dr. Jennifer Keller

    • Row 1: Age: Single Adult. 3.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Has had chemistry scenes with both Ronan and Rodney, so quite straight. 3.
    • Row 4: Role: Recent promotion from Mauve Shirt to series regular. I'll give her a 3.5.
    • Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Keller's more mature than Kaylee, but still has her share of Moe Moe behavior. Still The Cutie. 1.
    • Row 7: Personality: Like her predecessor Dr. Beckett, she seems to fall under the "desire to heal everyone, even crazy cavemen trying to kill me" school of medicine (and she ends up trying to make peace with said crazy cavemen by the end of the episode), so Friend to All Living Things. 1.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Crippling fear of heights. Or was it bridges? In either case, 2.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Smart. Stargate Doctors tend to have attributes of the Omnidisciplinary Scientist, and she's no exception. 3.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. Despite looking exactly like a certain young female Wraith from several episodes back... 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Well, when you think about it, Keller is the cast's Competent Secondary Female. Sure, Teyla's the Action Girl, but she's also The Heroine and has cast seniority. So, the non-action girl is Vasquez for once. Anyway, give Keller a 5.
    • Average = 25.5 / 10 = 2.55. Unless she goes the Ford route and has a complete flip-out, or they decide to blow her up like Dr. Beckett to show that Anyone Can Die, she seems pretty safe at this point.

Supernatural

  • Character A: Dean

    • Row 1: Age: Twenties. 3
    • Row 2: Sexual orientation: Straight, and not at all reluctant. 3
    • Row 3: Love interests: Temporary. 4
    • Row 4: Role: Hero. 1
    • Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Pretty darn hot. 1
    • Row 7: Personality: Of the above, I'd have to say Jerk with a Heart of Gold. 3
    • Row 8: Species: Human. 3
    • Row 9: Occupation: We Help the Helpless. I'd call that a 2.

  • Character A: Sam

    • Row 1: Age: Twenties. 3
    • Row 2: Sexual orientation: Straight, but a little more reluctant than Dean. 3
    • Row 3: Love interests: Temporary. 4
    • Row 4: Role: Hero. 1
    • Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Definitely The Cutie 1
    • Row 7: Personality: Halfway between Nerd and Jerk with a Heart of Gold, depending on the writer. (3)
    • Row 8: Flaws: Considering he's addicted to demon blood to fuel his Psychic Powers, I'd call this one Fell Astray. 4
    • Row 9: Virtues: The Smart Guy. 3
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3
    • Row 11: Occupation: We Help the Helpless, like his brother. 2.
      • Total divided by rows: 28/4 = 2.54. He's more likely to bite it than his brother, but again, this being Supernatural, he isn't likely to stay dead.

James Bond Someday there'll be that one bullet, knife, poison dart, or killer shoe that gets him......

  1. Row 1: Age: SingleAdult. There was his ten-second marriage in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, but yeah. 3.
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Definitely straight. That bit with him emerging from the sea in Casino Royale does not count. 3.
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: Temporary. [BondGirls] and everything......4.
  4. Row 4: Role: The Hero. 1.
  5. Row 5: Race: Caucasian, obviously. 1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: [FashionablyScarred]. There's one on his face and another on his hand, but neither prevent all them Bond Girls from wanting to get into his pants...2.
  7. Row 7: Personality: Tough one. He's a mix between The Captain and a Crazy Survivalist. Average: 4.
  8. Row 8: Flaws: None of them really. 1 I guess....
  9. Row 9: Virtues: Smart and Genre Savvy at times. 3.
  10. Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
  11. Row 11: Occupation: Adventurer is the closest. 2.
    • Total divided by rows: 27/11 = 2.45. He'll live for now.

Now, just for comparison, meet Japan's Equivalent: Golgo13

  1. Row 1: Age: SingleAdult. 3.
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Definitely straight., even if he tries to play it cool. 3.
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre:Pretty women with some deph of character, but They Always die. 5.
  4. Row 4: Role: The Loner, who somehow ends up as the Hero. I'm taking the middle ground of the two by giving him a 3.
  5. Row 5: Race: Asian, obviously. 1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: Not too pretty on the face and covered with hideous scars once the clothes come off. 5
  7. Row 7: Personality: He's a Jerk. Really. 4.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Fell Astray... majorly. 4
    • Row 9: Virtues: A total action guy. 2
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: On-call "retired" spy/hitman, Basically the retired cop. 5.
      • Total divided by rows: 33/11 = 3. You'd think he'd die but, amazingly, he lives and always seems to be adding to his scars collection....

24

  • Jack Bauer:
  1. Row 1: Age: He was a parent, but now falls under Single Adult. 3.
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3.
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: Action Series. 1.
  4. Row 4: Role: Hero. 1.
  5. Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: "Average". 3
  7. Row 7: Personality: Comes closest to Jerk with a Heart of Gold. 3.
    • Row 8: Flaws: None on this list. N/A.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Genre Savvy, most of the time. 3.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: (Ex) Federal Agent with questionable ethics. I'll call it a 3
      • Total divided by rows: 24/10= 2.4. Even if rumor that indicates Jack will die at the end of the series is true, he seems moderately safe for the time being.

  • Renee Walker:
  1. Row 1: Age: Single. 3.
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: As far as we know, straight. 3.
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: Action Series. 1.
  4. Row 4: Role: The Lancer. 3.
  5. Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: Average. 3
  7. Row 7: Personality: The Captain of the FBI in the latter portion of the seventh season. 2.
    • Row 8: Flaws: None here. N/A.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Action Girl. 2.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: FBI Agent with emerging questionable ethics. Call it a 3
      • Total divided by rows: 24/10= 2.4. Right up there with Jack, she seems safe for the time being.

  • Chloe O'Brien:
  1. Row 1: Age: Parent. 4.
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3.
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: Action Series. 1.
  4. Row 4: Role: Plucky Comic Relief. 4.
  5. Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: Average. 3
  7. Row 7: Personality: Nerd. 3.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Smartass. 4.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Smart. 3.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Hero's friend. 4
      • Total divided by rows: 33/11= 3. Factoring in the fact that she's the longest-lived non-Jack regular and her close friendship with Jack, she better watch out.

  • Larry Moss:
  1. Row 1: Age: S Ingle Adult. 3.
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3.
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: Action Series. 1.
  4. Row 4: Role: Since he's a boss skeptical of Jack at the start, he gets a 5.
  5. Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: Average. 3
  7. Row 7: Personality: The Captain of the FBI. 2.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Skeptical. 5.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Pragmatic. 5.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: A commander, but not of the military. I'll give him a 3
      • Total divided by rows: 33/11= 3.09. Survived a long time, but he was doomed from the start.

  • Well, Larry did die, but so did Renee. For all the trope's worth, it's gotta be averted sometimes, sad as it can be.

Firefly

  • Kaylee Frye:
  1. Row 1: Age: Very late teens or early adults. She acts young, so we go for the lower. 2.
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. Unless you count her electric "friends". 3.
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: Action Series, with a marriage that was only terminated by death 1.
  4. Row 4: Role: Plucky Comic Relief. 4.
  5. Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: The Cutie. Seriously, that lady is Moe Moe. 1
  7. Row 7: Personality: Tough one. Nerd, but also Friend to All Living Things. Average: 2.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Useless with weaponry, but who would want to hurt her? 2.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Smart and Genre Savvy at times. 3.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Wrench Wench. 3
      • Total divided by rows: 25/11= 2.27. Seriously, she's just too pretty to die. Unless Joss Whedon is feeling particularly evil.

  • Inara:
  1. Row 1: Age: "Single" adult. 3
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: She drops her panties for anyone with sufficient credits, of either gender. 5.
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: See above 1.
  4. Row 4: Role: Ms. Fanservice and The Lancer. 2.
  5. Row 5: Race: Caucasian, but there's clearly something else in there. '1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: Very attractive. 1
  7. Row 7: Personality: Hooker with a Heart of Gold. 2 then.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Apart from her profession, few really. Make it 2 for the former.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Smart, Genre Savvy. 3.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Companion, for which read prostitute. 4.
      • Total divided by rows: 27/11= 2.45. She's safe, basically.

  • Wash:
  1. Row 1: Age: Married adult, but not a parent. 3.5
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: Hard to call. Zoe is an Action Girl, so we'll call it a 4.
  4. Row 4: Role: More Plucky Comic Relief than anything else. 4
  5. Row 5: Race: Caucasian 1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: Average (your mileage may vary). 3
  7. Row 7: Personality: Usually comes off as an Innocent. 5
    • Row 8: Flaws: Definitely a Smartass. 4
    • Row 9: Virtues: Smart and Curious, kind of Genre Dumb. We'll call it a 4.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: While technically a pilot, he's really the Happy Family Man. And to make things even worse, he's the Happy Family Man in a verse whose creator HATES HAPPINESS. 5.
      • Total divided by rows: 39.5/11= 3.59. We now know the standard for "doomed".

  • Zoe:
  1. Row 1: Age: Not so much older, but certainly wiser. 5
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: She's effectively single now. No score.
  4. Row 4: Role: The Lancer. 2
  5. Row 5: Race: Black 5.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: A little to stern to be the Cutie. We'll call her a 2.
  7. Row 7: Personality: None of the descriptions fit. We'll skip this one for now.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Nothing standing out in this category, either.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Action Girl. 2.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Served under a military commander; possibly a competent secondary. Make it 4.
      • Total divided by rows: 26/8= 3.25. If the show were to continue, her days might be numbered.
  • Mal
  1. Row 1: Age: A single guy, so 3.
  2. Row 2: Sexual Orientation: almost definitely straight, possibly bisexual. 3.
  3. Row 3: Love Interests by Genre: He is single. No score.
  4. Row 4: Role: the Protagonist so a definite 1.
  5. Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
  6. Row 6: Aesthetics: YMMV but probably average or fashionably scarred- a 2.5.
  7. Row 7: Personality: The Captain if there ever was one. 2.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Hm.... not really any, but he can be a smartass- but only a little. I'll put him at a 3.5, and include results without the score as well.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Smart, so a 3.
    • Row 10: Species: Human, but in a show that has nothing but humans its kinda strange to count it, but a 3 averages out. so 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: I'd say some where between military commander and adventurer, so another 3.
So, including Flaws, Mal has a 2.5 exactly. Without flaws, its 2.3888888... which means that even Joss Whedon would have a hard time killing this guy!

  • River
    • Age: A seventeen-year-old teen, so 2.
    • Sexual orientation:: Unknown. Skipping.
    • Love Interests by Genre None, so skipping.
    • Role: Ignored Expert fits her pretty well - 2.
    • Race: Caucasian - 1.
    • Aesthethics: The Cutie, definitely - 1.
    • Personality: Tough one. Let's put down a 3 as a Crazy with a Heart of Gold.
    • Flaws: Schizophrenia seems somewhere between "Mentally Handicapped" and "Crippling phobia", so 1.5.
    • Virtues: Switches between Action Girl, Supergenius Girl and Emotionless girl. I'll go with the average of 3.
    • Species: Human - 3.
    • Occupation: Her abilities make her the closest thing the show has to a Superhero, so I'll give her a 1.
      • Final score: 1.94. Not getting killed any time soon. She's even safer when you consider that the central plot revolves around her being alive.

  • Simon
    • Age: Adult, so 3.
    • Sexual Orientation: Straight - 3.
    • Love Interests by Genre: It's an Action Series and Kaylee is often a Distressed Damsel - 1.
    • Role: Something of a loner - 4.
    • Aesthetics: Considering his gratuitous shirtless scene, Kaylee's immediate attraction and Jayne's remark about "yapping that pretty mouth" at him, I'll go ahead and pick the Cutie - 1.
    • Personality: Somewhere between a handsome Nerd and a Ditz - 3.5.
    • Flaws: Smartass, definitely Butt Monkey, what with often he gets punched - 4.
    • Virtues: The Smart Guy, so 3.
    • Species: Human - 3.
    • Occupation: Somewhat of a Non-Action Guy, so I'll go with Innocent Bystander and thus 3.
      • Final score: 2.85 - potentially at risk, especially because of the dramatic potential of his death's effect on River and Kaylee. However, it would mean introducing a new Medic to the show...

Lyrical Nanoha

Code Geass

  • Character A: Lelouch vi Britannia Being very similar to Light Yagami, and we all know how that turned out, he seems on track to get killed off.

    • Row 1: Age: He's mature for his age, so that would probably put him as Single Adult, rather than Protagonist Teen. Still, I'm going to split the difference for 2.5
    • Row 2: Sexual orientation: He's not quite Celibate Hero, but still pretty much so, so 2.
    • Row3: Role: Hero Or Villain, depending on your viewpoint. 1 or 5.
    • Row 4: Race: Britannian, which is in-series for White. 1.
    • Row 5: Aesthetics: Practically Bishounen. 1.
    • Row 6: Personality: Hard to say, but closest to The Captain, I think. 2, though you could make arguments across the board for anything up to 5.
    • Row 7: Flaws: Fell Astray like no tomorrow, baby. 4.
    • Row 8: Virtues: Smart and Genre Savvy? Hell yes. 3.
    • Row 9: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 10: Occupation: Emperor of the Holy Empire of Britannia, which is between Villain by Default and Military Officer. 4.5, I'd say.
      • Total divided by rows: 21-28/10= 2.1-2.8. Very likely to survive, although if he falls any more it could still happen. He's all over the place to a degree, though, so I have doubts as to how much it applies in this case.

  • Character B: Suzaku Kururugi. R Ight Hand Man and all.

    • Row 1: Age: Same, I guess. 2.5
    • Row 2: Sexual orientation: Euphemia has "promoted" him to 3.
    • Row3: Role: The Lancer. 3.
    • Row 4: Race: Japanese. 3.
    • Row 5: Aesthetics: Again, Practically Bishounen. 1.
    • Row 6: Personality: After his Heroic BSOD, there's no telling what he's like now, but he seems to have gone from Friend to All Living Things to Jerk Jock or similar, so 4.
    • Row 7: Flaws: Hard to tell, but I'd say he's the butt monkey. 4.
    • Row 8: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 9: Occupation: Military Commander Knight Of Zero indeed..... 4
      • Total divided by rows: 27.5/9= 3.06. Given that most of his character development has dropped his expected lifespan considerably, I think we could probably expect him to die.

  • Character C: Kallen Kouzuki

    • Row 1: Age: Teen Protagonist for 2
    • Row 2: Sexual orientation: Straight. 3.
    • Row3: Role: Hard to say, but I'll put in Lancer for simplicity's sake. 3
    • Row 4: Race: Half-britannian, half-Japanese. 2 average, since she doesn't really qualify for Twofer.
    • Row 5: Aesthetics: Ms. Fanservice. 1
    • Row 6: Virtues: Action Girl. 2.
    • Row 7: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 8: Occupation: Military. 4.

All right, take the average and.... 20/8, which is 2.5. She'll probably end up fighting Suzaku, who would most likely lose and die.

  • Answers: As predicted Kallen ends up fighting Suzaku and all but apparently kills him but turn out to be Not Quite Dead Yet and comes back to kill off Lelouch..

Gears of War Gears of War 2 is set to deal with Dom and the torment he goes through while trying to find his wife. Let’s see if he, Marcus, and Cole make it!

    • Row 4: Dom is The Lancer if you’ve ever seen one. 3.
    • Row 5: Mexican, but only half. Nonetheless, 4.
    • Row 6: Doesn’t really say.
    • Row 7: None of the above.
    • Row 8: A bit of a smartass, not as much as Baird, but it counts. 4.
    • Row 9: None of the above.
    • Row 10: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: He is a guy in the military AND the Hero’s friend, so 4.
      • Total: 25.5/8 rows Final score: 3.1875. If he keeps his head down, he might make it.

  • Character B: Marcus Fenix
    • Row 1: Single Adult. 3

    • Row 6: Fashionably Scarred. 2.
    • Row 7: He is closest to The Captain in personality. 2.
    • Row 8: He fell astray in terms of got thrown in jail for desertion. 4.
    • Row 9: Fairly quiet. 4.
    • Row 10: Human 3.
    • Row 11: Again, in the military. 4.
      • Total: 24 /9 rows Final score: 2.66. I think he will be just fine.

  • Character C: Augustus Cole
    • Row 1: Seems to be single. 3.
    • Row 2: Never comes up.
    • Row 3: None.
    • Row 4: Arguably comic relief. 4.
    • Row 5: Black. 5.
    • Row 6: Average. 3.
    • Row 7: Closest to the Jerk Jock. 4.
    • Row 8 and 9: Cole is an awfully flat character, so neither of these is mentioned.
    • Row 10: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Military, 4.
      • Total: 26 /7 rows Final score: 3.7. The Cole train may be stopping pretty soon.

Torchwood

  • Character A: Ianto Jones
    • Row 1: Age: Adult. 3.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Bisexual. 5.
    • Row 3: Love Interests By Genre: Action Series. 1.
    • Row 4: Role: Somewhat Plucky Comic Relief. 3.5
    • Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Quite attractive, and probably the closest to The Cutie as the show comes. 1.
    • Row 7: Personality: Hard to place, but probably closest to a 3.
    • Row 8: Flaws: A bit of a smartass. 4
    • Row 9: Virtues: Smart, as well as quiet. Split the difference to a 3.5.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3
    • Row 11: Occupation: Hmmm... Well... they're a secret organisation... I'm probably going to have to go with 2.5.
      • Total divided by rows: 30.5/11 = 2.77. He has a shockingly average lifespan. I'd say that means he's probably safe for at least a couple more seasons, at least. July 2009, well that clearly didn't work

  • Character B: Gwen Cooper
    • Row 1: Age: Married, but has no kids. 3.5
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Basically straight. 3.
    • Row 3: Love Interests By Genre: Action Series. 1.
    • Row 4: Role: Lead Female. 1.
    • Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Pretty, but not amazingly so. 1.5
    • Row 7: Personality: Can sometimes be The Ditz. 3.5
    • Row 8: Flaws: Varies. Has been known to do some pretty crazy things (but, among this cast, who hasn't?) 3.5
    • Row 9: Virtues: Action Girl. 2.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3
    • Row 11: Occupation: Again, secret organisation. 2.5
      • Total divided by rows: 22/11 = 2. I doubt Gwen's going anywhere anytime soon.

  • Character C: Jack Harkness
    • Row 1: Age: Adult, but also technically older, so split the difference at 4.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Bisexual. And a slut. Ouch. 5.
    • Row 3: Love Interests By Genre: Action Series. 1.
    • Row 4: Role: He's the hero. 1.
    • Row 5: Race: Caucasian. 1.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Super hot, but not really "cute". 1.5
    • Row 7: Personality: Obviously The Captain! 2
    • Row 8: Flaws: Stupidity seems to be a necessity to work at Torchwood, so probably a 3.5.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Fairly Genre Savvy. 3.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3
    • Row 11: Occupation: Best fits at. 2.5.
      • Total divided by rows: 27.5/11 = 2.5. Jack scored higher than Gwen, but we all sort of know that's a bit of a moot point. Unless something really crazy happens, he probably won't get killed for real any time soon.

Futurama

  • Character A: Bender
    • Row 1: Age: Single adult. 3.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3.
    • Row 4: Role: Plucky Comedy Relief. 4.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Average. 3.
    • Row 7: Personality: Jerk with a Heart of Gold. 3.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Greedy, among other things. 5.
    • Row 10: Species: Robot. 5.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Hero's Friend. 4
      • Total divided by rows: 30/8 = 3.75. Bender is in a bit of trouble, although being in Futurama probably takes some points off.

The Order of the Stick

  • Character A: Roy Greenhilt
    • Row 1: Age: Single Adult. 3.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3.
    • Row 3: Love Interests: No idea where Celia fits in, so I'll skip this one.
    • Row 4: Role: Hero. 1.
    • Row 5: Race: Black. 5.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: Average, I guess. Hard to tell. 3.
    • Row 7: Personality: Hard one, but I think 2 is about right.
    • Row 8: Flaws: No idea.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Genre Savvy, like everybody else. 3.
    • Row 10: Species: Human. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Adventurer. 2.
      • Total divided by rows: 2.78. Not that it matters, since he's already dead (he got better, though).

  • Character B: Xykon
    • Row 1: Age: Single Adult. 3.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3.
    • Row 3: Love Interests: None, probably.
    • Row 4: Role: Villain. 5.
    • Row 5: Race: Caucasian, before undeath. 1.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: He's undead, that's pretty ugly. 5.
    • Row 7: Personality: Evil incarnate. That would probably be 5.
    • Row 8: Flaws: None that I can think of.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Genre Savvy, like everybody else. 3.
    • Row 10: Species: Undead. 5.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Evil, evil, evil. 5.
      • Total divided by rows: 3.89. Of course he'll eventually get finally destroyed, but since he's the BBEG, it'll have to wait a bit longer.

  • Character C: O-chul
    • Row 1: Age: Appears to be older than most of the main characters 4
    • Row 2: Role: Colonel Makepeace seems to be the closest fit. 3.
    • Row 3: Race: Appears Caucasian 1.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Fashionably scarred. 2
    • Row 5: Personality: The Captain again seems to fit the best. 2.
    • Row 6: Virtues: Gentle Giant. He may be a Bad Ass, but he also forms an Odd Friendship with the MitD. 4
    • Row 7: Species: Human 3.
    • Row 8: Occupation: Paladin, and a damn good one at that. 4.
      • Total divided by rows: 22/8 = 2.75. He may outlive some members of the Order itself.

Now for a test run:

  • Character D: Miko Miyazaki
    • Row 1: Age: Single Adult. 3
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Celibate and oblivious to Roy's (initial) advances. 1
    • Row 3: Role: The Scrappy. 1
    • Row 4: Race: Asian. 3
    • Row 5: Aesthetics: Attractive enough for Roy to be attracted when they first meet, but not be commented on by the other characters afterwards. 2
    • Row 6: Personality: Lawful Stupid. 5
    • Row 7: Virtues: Holier Than Thou. 5
    • Row 8: Flaws: Again, Lawful Stupid. 4
    • Row 9: Species: Human. 3
    • Row 10: Occupation: Paladin, and a very high-ranking one at that. 4
      • Total divided by rows: 31/10 = 3.1. Her Karmic Death was all but inevitable.

  • Character E: Vaarsuvius
    • Row 1: Age: Older and wiser. 3.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Who knows?
    • Row 3: Love Interests:
    • Row 4: Role: The Smart Guy
    • Row 5: Race: Elf
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: It's hard to tell.
    • Row 7: Personality: Nerd. 3
    • Row 8: Flaws: Smartass 4

    • Row 4: Role: Kind of a Plucky Comic Relief. 4.
    • Row 5: Race: Skipped.
    • Row 6: Aesthetics: I'll say 3.
    • Row 7: Personality: Complete Monster, yet funny. 5.
    • Row 8: Flaws: Skipped.
    • Row 9: Virtues: Skipped.
    • Row 10: Species: Halfling. 3.
    • Row 11: Occupation: Token Evil Teammate, kind of The Millstone as of late. 4.
      • Total divided by rows: 22/6 = 3.66...
Not too bad... Shame the Oracle thinks otherwise.

Bleach

  • Ichigo Kurosaki
    • Row 1: Age: Protagonist teen. 2.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Het, but reluctant. 2
    • Row 3: Role: Hero. 1.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Mr. Fanservice 1.
    • Row 5: Personality: Captain all the way. 2
    • Row 6: Flaws: None on the list. Although his cold exterior could give him a 3.
    • Row 7: Virtues: Smart. 3.
      • Total divided by rows: 14/7 = 2 Taking in consideration he's the main character, it's still pretty high. In a show divided between Death Is Cheap, Anyone Can Die, and where 80% of the cast is already dead, he'll get better.

  • Orihime Inoue
    • Row 1: Age: Protagonist teen. 2.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3
    • Row 2.5: Love Interest: 1 all the way.
    • Row 3: Role: The Scrappy for some... 1.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Cute all the way. 1.
    • Row 5: Personality: Friend to all living things. 1.

    • Row 7: Virtues: Pollyanna. 1.
      • Total divided by rows: 12/8 = 1.5, it means she will get better.

  • Uryuu Ishida
    • Row 1: Age: Protagonist teen. 2.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Clearly reluctant. 2.
    • Row 3: Role: He's a loner. 4
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: He's considered bishonen by most of the fanbase. 1.
    • Row 5: Personality: Nerd. 3.
    • Row 6: Flaws: Wears glasses (many don't consider this a fault, though). 3.
    • Row 7: Virtues: At the start, he was Holier than Thou, but slided to Smart. 3.
      • Total divided by rows: 18/7 = 2.57. Ouch, it might hurt his sensibilities, but let's get to Chad.

  • Sado "Chad" Yasutora
    • Row 1: Age: Protagonist teen. 2.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Celibate. 1.
    • Row 3: Role: The Lancer. 3
    • Row 3.5: Race: Mexican. 4.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Average. 3.
    • Row 5: Personality: He's also a Firend to All Living Things (except if they're evil, of course). 1.
    • Row 6: Flaws: Looks like a delinquent. Around 3.
    • Row 7: Virtues: Gentle Giant. 4.
    • Row 8: Occupation: Hero's friend. 4
      • Total divided by rows: 25/9 = 2.77. I feel sorry for Chadkins, but if a main character has to die in Bleachverse, it has to be him.

To test a bit more, four more samples will be taken: Karin Kurosaki, Hitsugaya Toushirou, Yamada Hanatarou, and Arisawa Tatsuki.

  • Karin Kurosaki
    • Row 1: Age: She's a child, so, 1.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Celibate. 1.
    • Row 3: Role: Plucky Comic Relief. 4.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Cute. 1.
    • Row 5: Personality: Jerk with a Heart of Gold. 3.
    • Row 6: Flaws: Skeptical. 5.
    • Row 7: Virtues: Pragmatic. 5.
      • Total divided by rows: 20/7 = 2.85. Pretty high for a non-main child. Isshin should be careful with his daughter.

  • Hitsugaya Toushirou
    • Row 1: Age: Technically, child. 1.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Possibly straight, as he shows he'd kill for Momo. 3.
    • Row 3: Role: The Obi Wan, for being one hell of a kid genius. 5.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Cute, rendering 1st place in popularity polls. 1.
    • Row 5: Personality: Apparently a nerd. 3.
    • Row 6: Flaws: He can be sarcastic at times, falling into the Smartass category. 4.
    • Row 7: Virtues: He showed he can be one hell of a Genre Savvy. 3.
    • Row 8: Occupation: Military Commander, as he's a cap'n. 4.
      • Total divided by rows: 26/8 = 3.25. Although Hitsugaya is already dead, we can see "REINCARNATION" stamped on his face. Tite Kubo is showing it to us since the first moment he introduced the boy genius. Fan armor might keep him going, though.

  • Yamada Hanatarou
    • Row 1: Age: Technically, child, too. 1.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Celibate, it seems. 1.
    • Row 3: Role: He has Plucky Comic Relief as a character tag. 4.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Cute, if we take in consideration his look means that he's always tired. 1.
    • Row 5: Personality: Innocent poor thing. 5.
    • Row 6: Flaws: he's one hell of a coward, but not a dirty one; let's say his crippling phobia is... Everything. 2.
    • Row 7: Virtues: He's sorta like a Pollyanna, but not as hyperactive. 1.
    • Row 8: Occupation: Started out as an Innocent Bystander, but ended up as Hero's Friend. 4.
      • Total divided by rows: 19/8 = 2.37. The boy's unlucky, but has more chances of surviving than most of the tested.

  • Tatsuki Arisawa
    • Row 1: Age: Although losing even more her space, she's not a clueless teen, so, 2.
    • Row 2: Sexual Orientation: Straight as a board. 3.
    • Row 3: Role: Practically a Mauve Shirt, taking in consideration her role. 4.
    • Row 4: Aesthetics: Cute, even if some consider her rather brute. 1.
    • Row 5: Personality: Jerk with a heart of gold (to Ichigo). 3.
    • Row 6: Flaws: Smartass. 4.
    • Row 7: Virtues: Genre Savvy, to the point of danger. 3.
    • Row 8: Occupation: Between Innocent Bystander, Hero's Friend, and Competent Secondary Female. If anything, let's go for 4.
      • Total divided by rows: 24/8 = 3. If Tite Kubo doesn't plan to make her role bigger in a next arc, she'll probably sacrifice herself for Orihime and/or Ichigo.

BlazBlue

It's very popular to rate who's gonna die by the end of the series. Welp, let's find out.

  • Ragna the Bloodedge
    • Age: I think he's out of teens age so he's Single Adult... I guess. 3
    • Sexual Orientation: He's more 3, the gay stuff was just fanon. 3
    • Role: He's The Hero, who cares with prophecies about he's gonna die! 1.
    • Race: Pretty white. 1.
    • Aesthetics: If being a hunk counts as The Cutie, then 1.
    • Personality: Jerk with a Heart of Gold. 3
    • Flaws: Afraid of Ghosts. 2.
    • Species: Ambiguous, but several sources point out that he is an Artificial Human. 3
    • Occupation: He's marked as a terrorist, becomes the Black Beast, making him Villain By Default. 5
    • Final Score: 22/9: 2.444. Not likely to die as prophesized, eh Ragna? Then again, this is the world of BlazBlue, which is very cynical.

  • Jin Kisaragi
    • Age: Younger adult. 3
    • Sexual Orientation: "NII-SAAAAAANNNN!!!". Unlike Ragna, Jin's clear cut quite gay, we think. 4.
    • Love Interest By Genre: A rich bastard. 5.
    • Role: Right now he's probably Ragna's Lancer, and in other stories, he's actually The Hero, being Hakumen. 3
    • Race: White! 1
    • Gender: Male. 3
    • Aesthetics: He's a pretty boy, owns a shiny leather pants... 1
    • Personality: "The only truth in this world is death". 5.
    • Flaws: Smartass, psycho, gritty. 4.
    • Virtues: Oh he's as hellishly Holier Than Thou. 5
    • Species: He's human. 3
    • Occupation: HE WILL BE HAKUMEN! THE END WILL COME! 1
    • Final Score: 38/12 = 3.16666667. Whoa, Jin. Looks like your bad days as a psycho will come and get you. Fortunately, it wasn't as BIG, so you better work on it.

  • Hakumen
    • Age: Spent 90 years in the Boundary. 5
    • Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3
    • Role: The Hero. 1
    • Race: White! 1
    • Gender: Male. 3

    • Species: He's an Animated Armor. 4
    • Occupation: Super Hero. 1
    • Final Score: 32/11 = 2.90909091. Looks like you have a better chance at living compared to your past self, but you got to be careful, being that BB world is heavily cynical

  • Noel Vermillion
    • Age: An innocent teens in look, but she's not yet 10 years old mentally. 1.
    • Sexual Orientation: She hasn't even thought of banging someone anyway, but probably won't stop her. Since she's a Shrinking Violet, she seems pretty reluctant. 2.
    • Love Interest By Genre: Shrinking Violet all the way, with dashes of Distressed Damsel, but being in a World of Badass, this has become less so. 2.
    • Role: She's one of the heroes, plus probably Mori's pet characters. 1
    • Race: White. 1.
    • Aesthetics: She's one of BB's most Moe characters, so 1.

    • Virtues: The closest she can get is that she is an Action Girl, if that's saying something. 2.
    • Species: A Murakumo Unit, therefore, an Artificial Human. 3.
    • Occupation: She became a friend of Ragna, therefore increasing her death chance. 4.
    • Final Score: 26/11 = 2.36363636. Just about the same as Ragna. Being Mori's pet character might not guarantee your life, Noel, especially if 'you exist to save Tsubaki from her fate of death', you might be the one to do that for your death method.

  • Rachel Alucard
    • Age: She's Really 700 Years Old despite that loli look. 5.
    • Sexual Orientation: Shows interest in Ragna, but pretty much Tsundere about it. I'll take that as Celibate. 1
    • Love Interest By Genre: She could very well be BlazBlue's Rich Bitch, even if she shows some heart of gold sometimes. 5.
    • Role: Guiding the heroes with observation, she may as well be an Ignored Expert. 2.
    • Race: White as it can ever. 1.

    • Personality: Bitch With A Heart Of Gold. 3.

    • Virtues: Oh Good God, Holier Than Thou. 5.
    • Species: Vampires do not count in the counting.
    • Occupation: An ally of Ragna, therefore 4.
    • Final Score: 32/10 = 3.2. Even bigger than Jin? Gee, Rachel... perhaps you may want to stop being haughty and try to take care of yourself better, if falling to a trap in Continuum Shift is any indication.

  • Taokaka
    • Age: Pretty young mentally, probably being the kid. 1.
    • Role: The Plucky Comic Relief is the closest she can get. 4.
    • Aesthetics: VERY CUTE! Well, being a kitten and all. 1.
    • Personality: Really Ditzy. 4.

    • Virtues: Sometimes too curious, but in a good way. 5.
    • Species: She's a Cat Girl. 4.
    • Occupation: As a new friend of Ragna/Good Guy, she gets 4.
    • Final Score: 24/8 = 3. Apparently even comic relief characters aren't completely safe...

  • Iron Tager
    • Age: During his death as a human, he probably is adult enough... 3.
    • Role: He'd probably be The Hero for Sector Seven. 3.
    • Race: Once an Ikarugan, so probably Asian. 3.
    • Aesthetics: GIGANTIC TAGER!!!. Okay, so he's actually muscular, but pretty big. So the closest is 4.
    • Personality: The closest he can get is The Captain, seeing that he commanded the people of Ikaruga and is quite the order-man for Kokonoe. 2.
    • Flaws: Uh... he wears glasses? 3
    • Virtues: He's quite the Gentle Giant. 4.
    • Species: He's a cyborg, but at least he still got some lifeforms. 4.
    • Occupation: He serves under Kokonoe, and he wears RED... not a good sign. 4.
    • Final Score: 30/9 = 3.33. So far, the highest between the non-Evil ones. Careful of Kokonoe's tuning, Tager. It might backfire.

  • Litchi Faye-Ling
    • Age: One of the 'adults' and pretty single. 3.
    • Sexual Orientation: Unless your name is 'Lotte Carmine', she's pretty Celibate even if she'll accept you as a friend. 1.
    • Love Interest By Genre: This is close enough to an Action Series... 1.
    • Role: After Face-Heel Turn, she seems willing to wear NOL's Red Shirt... 5.
    • Race: She's a Chinese Girl. 3.
    • Aesthetics: Ms. Fanservice, baby! 1
    • Personality: Discounting her eventual Face-Heel Turn, she is closest to Messianic Archetype that all she wants is to help people, although she isn't as innocent as before. 1.
    • Flaws: Uh... wears glasses? 3.
    • Virtues: If 'go infect self with Boundary corruption to understand how to cure it' doesn't scream CURIOUS, I don't know what is. 5.
    • Species: Human. 3.
    • Occupation: Used to be a normal doctor, but with her joining NOL, her ethics became questionable, but not enough to become a Villain by Default, as a doctor is still a Noble Profession and she hasn't become mad about it (and her position is Sixth Ranger, so she didn't have that upbringing unlike Tsubaki). 3.
    • Final Score: 29/11 = 2.63. Have faith Miss Litchi, even if Karma will definitely bite you in the ass boobies for joining NOL, at least your chance of dying or succumbing to the corruption is kinda below average.

  • Arakune/Lotte Carmine
    • Age: Around the same age as Litchi and hasn't banged her before turning into Arakune. Single Adult. 3.
    • Sexual Orientation: He's straight all right, but too absorbed in science. 3.
    • Love Interest By Genre: BlazBlue IS Action Series, but Arakune himself IS Nightmare Fuel incarnate, so it got him into Horror Genre... 5.
    • Role: Not the official villain, but is a faceless monster (not complete, thankfully). 5.
    • Race: Looks American when he's Lotte. 1.
    • Aesthetics: Sorry, but The Irresistable Arakune is only in the omake. Officially, he's scary. 5.
    • Personality: Goes into 5 due to his methods of surviving... which is eat eat and eat. 5.
    • Flaws: He greeds for knowledge and disregards Litchi's warnings at first, as well as his own health. Therefore, 5.
    • Virtues: Damn curious. Even more than Litchi probably. 5.
    • Species: He's formerly human, so it gives him 3, I guess. Since Eldritch Abomination isn't being counted...
    • Occupation: Definitely a scientist with messed up ethics that even Kokonoe disapproves. 3.
    • Final Score: 43/11 = 3.90. Mortality rate pretty big, but lesser than the villains because at least he could look Woobie-ish, but he'll not likely to survive. Better prepare, Litchi, since your quest to save him is probably going to end in failure.

  • Bang Shishigami
    • Age: Single Adult, as he is dedicated to Miss Litchi, and hasn't banged anyone else, and would probably never bang her either. 3.
    • Sexual Orientation: DAMN STRAIGHT! 3
    • Love Interest By Genre: This is an Action Series we're talking about, and Bang epitomizes it. 1.
    • Role: Plucky Comic Relief all the way, though he might be a hero of another story as of late. I'll give it 3 as he's getting more serious after CS.
    • Race: Sam as the creator. 1.
    • Aesthetics: DAT SCAR. 2.
    • Personality: Large Ham loudmouthed ninja who shows compassions at times. 3.
    • Flaws: Pretty much the Butt Monkey of the series. 4.
    • Virtues: A Badass Action Hero. 2.
    • Species: Human. 3.
    • Occupation: SUPER HERO! 1
    • Final Score: 26/11 = 2.36363636. Sam as noel, so probably he'll live and make the world cheerier than normal with his hammy justice and mannerism.

  • Carl Clover
    • Age: Child, probably from 10-12 years old. 1.
    • Sexual Orientation: Hard to say, but around the midpoint of celibate and straight. Averages to about a 2.
    • Role: He isn't tied to many of the plot's main events, but his Arch-Enemy is half of the Big Bad Duumvirate. Something of a Hero of Another Story. 3.
    • Race: Unambiguously White. 1.
    • Aesthetics: A cute boy. 1.
    • Personality: Sometimes uses morally questionable at best methods of achieving his goals, such as attacking others for information. On the other hand, he can be genuinely kind, caring, and polite, and has been since he was born. Averages to about a 3.
    • Flaws: Can be emotionally unstable and finds trouble trusting adults due to father issues. Also the above mentioned methods. About a 4.
    • Species: Human. 3.
    • Occupation: Vigilante, which in the BlazBlue world is a bounty hunter. However, he mostly uses this job as a standpoint with which to achieve his goals. 3 perhaps?
    • Final Score: 21/9 = 2.33. Despite the cynical nature of the Blazblue world, Carl is a child, so there's a good chance he'll survive to the end. And this is saying something, as he has the lowest score thus far, even lower than Noel!

  • Tsubaki Yayoi
    • Age: As she's on late teens, so probably 2.
    • Sexual Orientation: She only had her sight on Jin... if the Imperator's Orders aren't getting in the way. Therefore, Straight. 3
    • Love Interest by Genre: She's an Action Girl, but the current situation puts her more of a Distressed Damsel that Jin needs to save (that is, from the clutches of Hazama). Then there's the fact that Noel is prophesized to save her from that fate. 1.
    • Role: If NOL is protagonistic, then Tsubaki is more likely to be a heroic character who follows orders. Plus, in the Academy, she used to be Jin's Lancer (Chick goes to Noel). 3.
    • Race: If names are to go by, Asian. 3.
    • Aesthetics: Taokaka calls her 'Average-sized', she wears purdy clothes that doesn't flaunt her beauty, but she's beautiful all right. 3.
    • Personality: Studious, and while she can get into more on the hammy justice action, she is deep down a Hakumen Fangirl Nerd. Thus 3.
    • Flaws:: She took the gritty side and brainwashed into astrayness from the path of goodness (with the protagonist), and believes she IS in the path of goodness... but with things like NOL, who can blame her? 4.
    • "Virtues":: Well at least she's pretty oriented in Action Girl-ism. 2.
    • Species: Humans, birth-issues aside. 3.
    • Occupation: Would've been Villain by Default, really, due to her staunch devotion to NOL, brainwashed or not. But since she's Jin's girlfriend, this gives her the score 4 instead.
    • Final Score: 31/11 = 2.82. Below average, so she'll likely survive, if Jin even bothered.

  • Hazama
    • Sexual Orientation: Very straight. 3
    • Love Interest By Genre: A BASTARD! 5.
    • Role: HE'S THE FRIGGING VILLAIN! 5
    • Aesthetics: They don't call him 'Smooth Criminal' if he hasn't got the good look. Terumi, on the other hand... But let's just settle with 1
    • Personality: "THIS WORLD IS NOTHING BUT LIES!!". Yep, openly stating nihilism. 5.
    • Virtues: A Holier Than Thou-type Troll. 5
    • Species: He's a ghost, therefore Undead. 5.
    • Occupation: As Captain Hazama, he'd be 4.
    • Final Score: 33/8 = 4.125. Dead as of Chronophantasma. Died so sudden and anticlimatic like a dog too, just like the table decreed for his score. And don't let us catch your green ass around here again!

  • Makoto Nanaya
    • Age: Late teens. 2.
    • Sexual Orientation: Seems to be all over the place. She could be considered lesbian for her female friends, but is also straight, as she's been shown having feelings for Jin (though he'll most likely end up with Tsubaki), Tager, and ESPECIALLY Carl, due to her love of young boys. Is pretty much a 5, due to how high her sex drive is.
    • Love Interest by Genre: She's an Action Girl, and her closest thing to an official love interest is a cute boy. She most likely qualifies as a 1.
    • Role: One of the heroes, but most likely of another story. 3.
    • Race: Most likly Asian, due to her name origin. 3.
    • Aesthetics: A cute and spunky, yet sexy squirrel girl. 1.
    • Personality: Genius Ditz. Roughly a 4.
    • "Virtues":: Action Girl. 2.
    • Species: A squirrel girl. 4.
    • Final Score: 25/9 = 2.778. Fairly likely to survive. If Makoto saw this score, she'd probably react the same way she feels in Tager's gag reel: By tingling in her naughty bits. She'd probably get even more tingly after noticing that Carl's score is the lowest, as she can't keep her hands off young boys, especially ones that are likely to live.

  • Relius Clover
    • Age: An Older and Wiser and EVILER version of Carl. Uh yeah... 5.
    • Sexual Orientation: Has had children w/ Ignis, and created the Murakumo Units, making their butts extremely prominent. However, there is possible Ho Yay subtext with Hazama, so he's quite possibly gay as well. Most likely bisexual. 5.
    • Role: Part of the Big Bad Duumvirate. 5.
    • Race: If Carl's White, he's definitely White. 1.
    • Aesthetics: That mask must've been hiding something, but he's still damn rugged. Therefore 2.
    • Personality: He's not as nihilistic as Hazama, but he might as well, judging on how much of a monster he is. 5.
    • "Virtues": Smart, definitely. Being a man who sought perfection, he's got to be on the Smart part. 3.
    • Species: Human. 3.
    • Occupation: In a worse scale than Litchi; Relius is both a scientist with fucked up morality, PLUS a Villain by Default without having a Noble Profession to back it up. 5.
    • Final Score: 34/9 = 3.778. Higher than Arakune, but probably he's still got a big death rate. But it's more plausible for him to return in future installments than Hazama...

  • Valkenhayn R. Hellsing

The Dreamer
  • Nathan Hale
    • Age: Single Adult - 3
    • Sexual Orientation: Straight - 3
    • Love Interests: None - 1
    • Role: The Heart - 3
    • Race: White - 1
    • Aesthetics: Handsome - 1
    • Personality: Cheerful - 1
    • Flaws: Smartass - 3
    • Virtues: Smart, Genre Savvy - 2
    • Species: Human - 3
    • Occupation: Military - 4
      • Total Score: 26/11 = 2.36. Even though he seems relatively safe, he's still up for the Foregone Conclusion death, considering this is a historical webcomic.

  • Alan Warren
    • Age: Adult - 3
    • Sexual Orientation: Straight - 3
    • Love Interest: Distressed Damsel - 1
    • Role: Hero - 1
    • Race: White -1
    • Aesthetics: Handsome - 1
    • Personality: The Captain - 2
    • Flaws: Smartass - 3
    • Virtues: Action Guy - 2
    • Species: Human - 3
    • Occupation: Military - 4
      • Total Score: 21/11 = 1.9. Seems likes this guy ain't going anywhere, his mysterious coughing be damned.

Mini McGuinness
  • Sexual Orientation: Probably a lesbian: 4

  • Race: White: 1
  • Gender: Girly Girl: 2
  • Aesthetics: The cutie: 1
  • Personality: Jerk With A Heart of Gold: 3

Grace Violet Blood

  • Flaws: None of the above: no score
  • Virtues: Pollyanna: 1
    • Total Score: 2.31 - They probably won't kill their Purity Sue, unless Jamie Brittain is feeling particularly sadistic right before the generation finale. Hey, after what happened to Freddie, who knows?

  • Personality: Jerk with a Heart of Gold: 3
  • Virtues: Smart and fairly Genre Savvy: 3
  • Flaws: Smartass: 4
    • Total Score: 3.25 - The most likely candidate if they decide to kill a girl this time.

  • Personality: Crazy Awesome: 5
  • Flaws: The Stoner: 4

Abbud Siddiqi

—- Axis Powers Hetalia

Let's see what would happen if the Allies were in a horror movie!

America
  • Age, nineteen, so I think that's a mix between single adult and protagonist teen: 2.5
  • Sexual Orientation: None full out confirmed in canon, only Ship Tease, so Celibate Hero: 1
  • Love Interests: N/A
  • Role: Wants to be The Hero, so I'll let him: 1
  • Race: White: 1
  • "Aesthetics": Not exactly the cutie, but rather good-looking, so I'll give him a one.
  • Personality: A mix between Jerk with a Heart of Gold, The Ditz and Friend to All Living Things, I think that makes him a 2,5
  • Flaws: Crippling phobia of ghosts: 2
  • Virtues: The Pollyanna: 1
  • Species: Human: 3
  • Occupation: Hmmm... Probably a mix Between Superhero and Innocent Bystander, 2
    • Final Score: 1,7 - Wow, America, why are you so afraid of horror films? You'd almost certainly survive one!

England
  • Age, twenty-three, single adult: 3
  • Sexual Orientation: None full out confirmed in canon, only Ship Tease, so Celibate Hero: 1
  • Love Interests: N/A
  • Role: The Lancer: 3
  • Race: White: 1
  • "Aesthetics": A bit over average: 2
  • Personality: Jerk with a Heart of Gold: 3
  • Flaws: The closest is smartass, though I doubt he'd be so stupid he'd taunt people. Could hold the Idiot Ball though: 4
  • Virtues: Genre Savvy: 3
  • Species: Human: 3
  • Occupation: Hero's friend and mentor: 4,5
    • Final Score: 2,75 - Dammit, don't kill him off! He's to Tsundere to die!

France

China

Russia
  • Age Age unknown, single adult: 3
  • Sexual Orientation: While he's shown interest in China and Lithuania, I'd say he's to much of a Psychopathic Manchild to call it love. Celibate Hero: 1
  • Love Interests: N/A
  • Role: The Lancer: Closest is a mix between loner and Plucky Comic Relief: 4
  • Race: Don't know if Russian counts as Asian or white, so I'll take the thing between: 2
  • "Aesthetics": The least handsome of the cast, so: 3
  • Personality: Well, he's crazy, so Crazy Survivalist: 5
  • Flaws: Due to his childishness, mentally handicapped: 1
  • Virtues: Once again, due to childishness, curious: 5
  • Species: Human: 3
  • Occupation: Once again, closest is hero's friend: 4
    • Final Score: 2,8 - My, they all have pretty good odds

Might as well do the Axis members (Axes?) too:

Italy
  • Age: 20, so a single adult: 3
  • Sexual Orientation: Tough one. He did tell Germany that his first love was a boy, so considering he flirts with girls he would be bi. But he also says that he is a virgin, which would make him a Celibate Hero. Let's give him a 3 as a compromise.
  • Role: I guess he's technically The Hero: 1
  • Race: White: 1
  • Personality: The Ditz: 4
  • Flaws: A coward, while of a more loveable kind: 5
  • Virtues: Closest one is The Pollyanna: 1
  • Species: Human is probably the closest: 3
    • Final Score: 21/8=2.625. Quite high for a title character.

Germany
  • Age:20, a single adult: 3
  • Sexual Orientation: Again, debatable, but he's a lot more reserved than Italy, so probably reluctant: 2
  • Role: The Lancer, if we're going if Italy as The Hero: 3
  • Race: White: 1
  • Personality: I suppose the closest is The Captain: 2
  • Flaws: I can't think of any that fits: N/A
  • Virtues: Pragmatic: 5
  • Species: Again, we're going with Human: 3
  • Occupation: Hero's friend: 4

Japan
  • Age: He profile says "secret", but let's just go with single adult: 3
  • Sexual Orientation: Definitely a Celibate Hero: 1
  • Role: The closest fit is The Lancer: 3
  • Race: Same as the creator: 1
  • Personality: Probably a nerd: 3
  • Flaws: Again, none of them fits: N/A
  • Virtues: The Smart Guy or The Quiet One: 3.5
  • Species: We've gone though this already: 3
  • Occupation: Hero's friend: 4

Digimon: Even though no one died...

Taichi:
  • Age: Child. 1
  • Sexual Orientation: For convince sake, straight. 3
  • Role: The Hero. 1
  • Race: Same as writer's. 1
  • Gender: Male. 1
  • Aesthetics: Avarage. 3
  • Virtues: Determinatior. 2
  • Species: Human. 3
Score: 1.87. Consedering he's the hero, it's normal.

Yu-Gi-Oh!

Yami Yugi/ Atem
score:2, he is the main character.

Seto Kaiba
score:2.6, he isn't the main character

Marik
  • Age: Teen. 2
  • Sexual Orientation: straight. 3
  • Role: Villain. 5
  • Aesthetics: Mr. Fanservice. 1
  • Personality: He is evil. 5
score:3.2, he is the antagonist (Adolescent).

Mass Effect

Yes, I'm aware that Anyone Can Die in Mass Effect. I just wanted to see their scores for ME 3 provided they lived to then.

Commander Shepard
  • Age: Adult. 3
  • Sexual Orientation: Straight. 3 (Though it sounds like Bioware might make it possible to change this in ME 3, I won't apply this, since romance is your own decision.)
  • Role: The Hero: 1
  • Race: probably White, 1
  • Aesthetics: (I'm leaving this out, since Shepard does everything the same regardless of if you make him ugly or not.)
  • Personality: The Captain(Paragon/Paragade): 2 / Jerk with a Heart of Gold (Renegade): 3
  • Flaws: I guess Smartass for talking that way to the Reapers, but it doesn't really fit. : 4
  • Virtues: Action Girl (!Fem Shep): 2 / Pragmatic(Renegade): 4 (I'll just land Paragon Shepard a 3)
  • Species: Human: 3
  • Occupation: Military Commander: 4
    • Final Score: 2.56-2.89. Give or take, a little over the average lifespan. It's very telling about the Reapers' plans that they've already managed to kill him once.

Liara T'Soni
  • Age: Single adult: 3
  • Sexual Orientation: Probably somewhere between straight and reluctant. Difficult due to her species being mono-gendered. 2.5
  • Love Interest: Shrinking Violet: 2
  • Role: Close to Jor-El, due to her archaeology background. 2.5 I guess (since she isn't really that either)
  • Aesthetics: The Cutie: 1 (Even among asari, Liara seems like this.)
  • Personality: Nerd: 3 (eh, only with the Prothean artifacts)
  • Flaws: (None of those really fit...)
  • Virtues: Quiet Girl, but also has Smart and probably Genre Savvy, given how much trouble she went to get Shepard's body. 3.5
  • Species: Pretty Aliens: 2
  • Occupation: "Adventurer" Archaeologist (She needs the first half even if she really wants to do the second half): 2
    • Final Score: 2.39. For one of the few characters guaranteed to survive ME 2, that's still a decently high score. Though, it's still lower than most others, I anticipate.

Garrus Vakarian
  • Age: Single adult: 3
  • Sexual Orientation: Straight: 3
  • Love Interest: His relationship could be considered "temporary" at the time, given that he was headed into a suicide mission. 4. (Where it goes after ME 2, may change this)
  • Role: The Lancer: 3
  • Aesthetics: Well most (in-game) people say turians are ugly, but Garrus isn't that bad, really. And he has the whole "rocket-to-the-face" scars going for him. I'd say 2.
  • Personality: He's idealistic, but not Innocent. He's probably somewhere between The Captain (for his Omega work) and Jerk with a Heart of Gold. 2.5
  • Species: Human alien: 3
  • Occupation: He's a former C-Sec officer, but not quite in the same way as most Retirony cases go; he still wants more action. He is still very much the Hero's friend, however. 4.5.
    • Final Score: 3.125. He's at a slightly higher risk of death, but he's already stared it down more than once. What's one more time?

Tali'Zorah
  • Age: She just became an adult. 3.
  • Sexual Orientation: Straight: 3 (She was going to be also a possible same-sex interest, but it was dummied out.)
  • Love Interest: Shrinking Violet. 2.
  • Role: Unfortunately, with her track record, she's going the path of the Loner. 4.
  • Aesthetics: Without seeing what she looks like with that helmet off, she looks just like any other quarian. 3.
  • Personality: She's closer to a nerd than anything else. 3
  • "Virtues": Quiet girl. 4.
  • Species: Human alien: 3
  • Occupation: Definitely Shepard's friend. 4.
    • Final Score: 3.22. Again, like Garrus, higher risk of death, but nothing too staggeringly short.

Mordin Solus
  • Age: Very old for a salarian. But debatable whether he was Older and Wiser, or just a plain old single adult. It leans toward the former (based on his religious beliefs) so he's a 4.5.
  • Sexual Orientation: He's apathetic about anyone who's not Shepard. Probably something between celibate and reluctant. 1.5.
  • Role: Plucky Comic Relief. 4.
  • Aesthetics: He's got the scars, but they're not quite as prominent as Garrus's. He's otherwise quite average. 2.5.
  • Personality: He's a med nerd, definitely. But he has shades of Crazy Survivalist as well (what with the farming equipment). 3.75?
  • Virtues: He straddles a line between Smart and Curious. Probably around 4, then.
  • Species: Human Alien. 3.
  • Occupation: Scientist with questionable morality. 3.
    • Final Score: 3.28. Those high scores were really starting to make me fear for Mordin's life, but it all boils down to only slightly less-lived than average, somehow. But, with Mordin at the end of his life, that may be sooner than you might think.

Samara
  • Age: Older and Wiser: 5.
  • Sexual Orientation: As straight as asari can be. 3. (She is celibate now, but not in the past.)
  • Role: She has shades of the Obi-Wan, and is definitely a loner. 4.5.
  • Aesthetics: Your call on if she is a "cutie". I find her more toward the average part. 2.5.
  • Virtues: More quiet than is probably good for her. 4.
  • Species: Pretty Alien. 2.
  • Occupation: She's old enough to probably give an Obi-Wan moment, and she is definitely a competent female fighter. 5 on both counts.
    • Final Score: 3.71. I picked Samara deliberately because I believed she was going to be more likely to die than the rest. While she is notably higher up in the score than the rest, she still is not quite as toast as I thought she was going to be.

Wrex
  • Age: He's older than Samara. If that's not Older and Wiser, nothing is. 5.
  • Role: He is a Lancer and Hero of Another Story (regarding his work with the krogan). He had the Loner part, but he has ditched it in ME 2. 3.25.
  • Aesthetics: Scars, as befitting a krogan. 2.
  • Personality: He was pretty fatalistic in ME 1, but it seems he has grown out of it. Still the Jerk with a Heart of Gold, though. 3.5
  • Virtues: He's the most pragmatic of the krogan, at least with regards to breeding instead of fighting. He fights like a krogan, but he probably more willing to improvise than most. 5.
  • Species: Krogan are closer to a human species than anything. 3.
  • Occupation: He's certainly Shepard's friend. Whether you can call him a mentor is up to you. 4.5.
    • Final Score: 3.75. Pretty bad off, considering how important he is. The fact that ME 2 defaults to his death is really telling of this. Plus, he is nearly a thousand years old. He must be approaching the end of that lifespan soon.

A Song of Ice and Fire

Danaerys
  • Age: Protagonist teens; 2
  • Sexual Orientation: Straight; 3
  • Role: The Hero; 1
  • Race: White; 1
  • Aesthetics: Hottest thing alive, 1
  • Personality: The Captain; 2
  • Virtues: Action Girl; 2
    • Final Score: 1.714. Maybe anyone can die, but Dany's sticking around for a while.

Now let's see a character most fans want to see very dead:

Ramsay Bolton
  • Age: single adult, though technically married: 3
  • Sexual Orientation: technically straight, 3
  • Role: Complete Monster, 5
  • Race: White, 1
  • Aesthetics: not an attractive guy. 5.
  • Personality: sadist. 4.
  • Flaws: Have I mentioned that he's a sadist? Also, too many others to count. 5
  • "Virtues": He's pretty pragmatic at torture. 5.
  • Species: Human. 3.
  • Occupation: Villain by default, 5
    • Final score: 39/10=3.9 - hope for the best

And everyone's favorite Affably Evil Littlefinger:
  • Age: single adult, 3
  • Sexual Orientation: straight, 3
  • Role: villain AND Obi-Wan, 5
  • Race: White, 1
  • Aesthetics: Average, 3
  • Personality: Magnificent Bastard, Manipulative Bastard, 4
  • Flaws: Megalomania, inferiority complex, greed. 5.
  • "Virtues": Smart, savvy, 3
  • Species: Human, 3
  • Occupation: Mentor and villain, 5
    • Final score: 35/10 = 3.5 - better chances than Ramsay Snow, but still has to be careful.

Jon Snow
  • Age: Protagonist teen, 2
  • Sexual Orientation: Straight despite attempts at celibacy, but reluctant due to his position, 2
  • Role: The hero of his story, 1
  • Race: White, 1
  • Aesthetics: Notably above average, so we'll say, 2
  • Personality: Flawed but still competent and good enough to be considered Messianic Archetype, 1
  • Flaws: Possibly Genre Blind considering his more idealist attitude in this Crapsack World, 5.
  • "Virtues": Pragmatic, Quiet, Smart, Determinator. Difficult to say, but we'll average him out and round up to a 3
  • Species: Human, 3
  • Occupation: Commander of the Watch, 4
    • Final Score: 24/10 = 2.4 - Better than Ramsay or Littlefinger, naturally, but not as good as Daenarys. He has cause to be concerned, especially considering what world he lives in. And, considering recent events, he may already be dead. Knowing Martin, Jon could go either way at this point.

Figure17

For one of the most relaxing Slice of Life shows out there, the Science Fiction aspect was often brutal and unforgiving for our heroes thanks to the Maguar's Global threat level and High likelihood of succeeding and getting worse thanks to their Adaptive Ability. Case in point...

Kotoura-san

The trailers and previews played this show up to be a simple Romantic Comedy. It's not. In fact...
