WMG / Reacting to The Loud House

Go To

"The Crying Dame" will be an utter cringefest.
  • The Louds will be utterly horrified as they realize they're gonna have to listen to the Fenton song over and over and over again.
    • During the montage of the siblings driven nuts by the song, the Louds (except Lily) will don earmuffs to avoid the song. Of course, Lily doesn't get why that's the case.
    • The Casagrandes are revealed to have never had Fenton at all. So they're just as driven nuts, except for Carlitos, who (true to his character) ends up imitating the Fenton dance.
Frida: Well, at least we didn't have to deal with that during my babies' childhood- (sees Carlitos dancing) CARLITOS NOOOOOOOOO! (sobs)
  • It will be explained that when Lori had Fenton, Mr. Grouse was also nearly driven nuts by the song, and so when Lily inherited the toy he just straight-up removed his hearing aid to avoid the song once more.
  • Lily will be saddened and furious when she sees her siblings throw Fenton in the trash.
  • Since the episode's title card theme is a rock remix of Fenton's song, maybe this is the point where the Louds slowly realize exactly what this episode is gonna be about.
Lincoln: "Wait, why does this music sound familiar-"
    Lily: [recognizes the tune] "Fa-fa! Fa-fa! Fa-fa!"
Lynn Sr.: "OH GOD NO THE DEMON TOY THEY HAD TO PUT THAT INTO THE SHOW!"

  • ALL CONFIRMED.

Anti-Social
  • There will be some kind of explanation towards Lynn Sr., a former IT worker, inexplicably having no idea how cell phones work—specifically, he only got one just because his kids also had one, and never bothered to figure out the kinks of texting and social media. Back on his IT job, he mostly used email to communicate, and he was so used to that he wasn't exactly used to the cell phone craze.
  • Lynn Sr. will be heavily embarrassed when the others realize the discrepancy. Even Mr. Grouse, an IT guy.
  • Lynn Sr.'s TL;DR text will be read IN ITS FULL GLORY. He will be completely embarrassed as Lori does that, and the others will be snickering about it.
  • Sam will get apprehensive at Luna quoting Britney Spears of all people.
Sam: [after Luna says, "Oops, you did it again"] "Britney Spears? Really?"
Luna: [British accent] "That was accidental, really-"
Sam: "Like when you 'accidentally' said 'YOLO'?"
  • Darcy will get confused when she realizes Mr. Grouse's promo code is SOCKIT2ME. Lisa will sheepishly admit it's best she don't know.

  • All confirmed other than Lynn's text getting read out.

Reacting to "Tripped!"
  • The Louds still have never let Lori farting in Vanzilla down.
  • The entire cast will find the "Road Trippin' Blues" song to be catchy... and then cringe at the scene where the Louds are in a prison bus.
    • Lily's reaction will be something like: "What? Wiwy find bad guy likable!"
    • The teens will shudder with embarrassment when they realize exactly what the prisoner's tattoo was, given Lana's censoring.

  • All confirmed.

White Hare
  • Joe will explain that the premise of this episode is basically what the former creator intended for the show.
  • The entire Loud family will be completely floored at the fact there are 26 rabbit siblings and admit that they would never think of having that many kids.
    • There will be a Zootopia reference with someone saying, "They are good at multiplying." (Bonus points if it's Luan.)
  • Lynn Sr. and Rita will admit some of the rabbits were their idea of potential kids.

  • Confirmed, except for the last one.

Insta-Gran
  • Myrtle will join the cast in this chapter.
  • When Lisa spills her fecal slides on the rest of the family, Lana admits that while all twelve got hit, she got hit with the worst of it (after all, she's the only one who embraced getting hit while everyone else freaked out), and that showers were inevitable.
  • Liam will approve of Myrtle's haircut to Lincoln, and thus laugh at Luan's "That haircut bowls me over" joke.
  • The Morticians will have a moment of silence in honor of Lucy's spiders that were killed by Myrtle.
  • Lincoln's friends will notice how his trophy case has become more crowded, even with the comic from "Pulp Friction".

  • Myrtle joining and the trophy case are confirmed. Lana's admittance was not. Liam approves of the haircut, but not Luan's joke. Everyone has the moment of silence for the spiders.

A Fridge Too Far
  • Leni will realize that Timothy McCole is voiced by Bill Mumy. After all, she's voiced by his daughter.
    • Lucy is secretly a Twilight Zone fan and had not just watched "It's a Good Life" (which had Bill Mumy as a Reality Warper), but the sequel to that episode which had Liliana Mumy as the daughter of his character.

  • Both confirmed.

Selfie Improvement
  • Lori will admit that Lincoln doing the Bunny Ears Picture Prank to her on the title card was something he actually did once, and how that attempt messed up her social life.
  • Lori will elaborate on even more ways Carol had one-upped her, including show-and-tell at preschool.
  • When Lana says in the episode Lori would appreciate the pressure assisted flush, Lynn will disapprove and say it ruined her attempts to clog the toilet.
  • The siblings will all feel guilty of ruining Lori's selfies.
    • The scene of Lily chucking her loaded diaper at Lori; apparently another sibling will explain they changed her following that incident.
  • Sergio will snicker as the pets attack Lori, but Lalo will glare at him for such insensitivity towards Lori.

  • All confirmed! Except Carol one-upped Lori during show-and-tell in kindergarten, it's Lincoln who changed Lily after the diaper incident, and Lalo smacks Sergio for insensitivity.

No Place Like Homeschool
  • Carlos will get flashbacks to "Undivided Attention" and scold the kids for goofing off during homeschool. He'll side with Lola when show-Lola reminds the sibs to get to work.
    • Rita will also join in on the scolding now that she gets to see exactly what her kids were up to during homeschool.
  • The Ace Savvy fans will approve of Lana joining Lincoln's Ace Savvy roleplay with the Mantis Queen.
  • Darcy and Lily will comfort Lisa when show-Lisa points out arts and crafts are her weakness.
  • Mr. Grouse will try to explain his classic CDs of ice cream truck jingles.

  • All confirmed, except that Lily doesn't co-comfort Lisa.

Fool Me Twice
  • The episode will be a total trainwreck when the Louds' friends find out about Luan's doubles prank:
    • Mrs. Johnson will recognize the old man who's Lincoln's double, and realize that wasn't really Lincoln who had proposed to her. Her other former students will be horrified at the implications.
  • Just like the real Louds in the episode, Bobby will faint when he sees the footage of Lori's double constantly farting.
  • Zach will realize the doubles thing certainly explains why he was able to beat "LJ" easily.

  • Some could tell, others couldn't. Mrs. Johnson could tell that the old man wasn't Lincoln, but everyone just gasped. Bobby didn't faint. Zach's reaction was confirmed, though.

Pipe Dreams
  • Lincoln and Lisa will cringe when the episode gets to Rita turning up the TV volume to max level.
Show Rita: "Oh, you guys watching ARGGH!?" [Giggles] "Fun, but how can you even hear it?"
Lincoln: "Wait, oh no, is that what I think it is?!"
Lisa: [gets bad memories of her tinnitus flaring up] "Not again..."
[Cue show Rita cranking up the volume to max]
Show Lisa: "MOTHER, THAT'S TOO LOUD! IT'S AGGRAVATING MY TINNITUS!!"
[Show Rita and Show Lynn Sr. get to work]
Lincoln: "I get you were trying to make sure no one will notice the building and the buzzing and whatnot, but you nearly gave us a heart attack!"
  • Similarly, when the episode gets to the fake book club:
Lisa: Well, the bathroom would certainly explain the ruse of the book club.
Lynn Sr.: In hindsight, using children's books was a bad disguise...
  • When show Lynn Sr. mentions Lincoln always forgetting to put the toilet seat up:
Lincoln: Dang it. I still forget to do that.
Lisa: [gets flashbacks to "Macho Man with the Plan" where she gets into an accident because Lincoln forgot to put the toilet seat up]

  • All confirmed. But maybe too confirmed...

Fandom Pains
  • Lisa will be revealed to be a closeted fan of Blake Bradley, which is why she based Ro-Bro from The Really Loud House after him.

  • Confirmed.

Rita Her Rights
  • Albert will be completely appalled at Rita's crime spree.
  • The other grown-ups will cringe at Lynn Sr. spelling "Menu" with a Y.
  • Margo will remark about the half-eaten banana Lynn brings over for practice, saying it would explain why it didn't look full.
  • When everyone sees the usual Loud House chaos in the living room, Rita will immediately turn on Lynn Sr. and ask him why he let all this happen.
    • The second time, the kids will wonder why Lincoln is joyriding in Lola's jeep, knowing full well how overprotective she is over it.

  • All confirmed; except Leonard, not Rita, tells Lynn Sr. off for allowing said chaos.

Teachers' Union
  • This one is probably going to make the Action News Team plus LJ and friends recount the acts of Coach Keck, after watching Coach Pacowski's acts.
  • Lori will feel embarrassed that she basically gave Lincoln advice on how to hook Coach Pacowski with Mrs. Johnson.
  • Lynn will also make jokes about potentially hooking Coach Keck with Mr. Bolhofner at some point.

  • Somewhat confirmed. Only Margo and Stella mention Coach Keck's acts, and Polly makes the Keck X Bolhofner joke. Lori's embarrassment is still confirmed.

Head Poet's Anxiety
  • Just like with Collin Dean as Lincoln in "One of the Boys", this one will have the others acknowledge Andre Robinson filling in as Clyde.
Liam: "Wait a sec, Clyde sounds different!"
Joe: "Exactly, this is when Andre Robinson started voicing him."
    Clyde: "Uh... puberty?"
  • Lisa will notice that Lucy's rejection letter has grammatical errors, but Lucy will point out it was intentional.
  • During the flashbacks to 8-year-old Luan:
    • There will be references to "Doll Day Afternoon" where Luan recounts Mr. Coconuts plummeting from the sky right in front of her, as well as to The Loud House Movie where she would use Lincoln as a dummy.
    • When the flashbacks show the pets during Charles's first birthday, the non-Loud characters would wonder where Geo was. Luan would state that the current Geo (Geo VI) wasn't around yet, and this was shortly after the death of Geo IV (after all, Geo III died when Lucy was a year old).
  • Rita will get the camera and actually take shots of Lucy smiling and Luan and Lucy hugging it out, essentially doing what Lynn Sr. asked in the episode.
  • The sibs will admit they were shaken to their core by Lola pretending to roast Lucy's poetry. Except Lynn, who still appreciates how Lola has been more moved by her farts.
Show Lola: "That poem is terrible! I've been more moved by Lynn's farts!"
    Show Lynn: "Aw, thank you!"
Lynn: "Still proud of it, baby!" [farts to prove it]
Show Lola: "You smell weird, your hair is wrong, and I would not recommend you to my friends!"
    Sibs: [still unnerved]
Luna: "I know she was faking it, but... this is why I never let Lola review my lyrics."

  • Everything except for the flashback scenes are confirmed.

Missed Connection
  • Lori and Bobby will turn on the twins when she finds out they had devoured the pizza meant for her.
Show Lola: "Ooh, pizza! Why is it shaped like a heart?"
Show Lana: "I think it's supposed to be a butt."
    Show Lola: "Oh, yeah."
    [They eat the pizza]
Bobby: "Wait, that's why you didn't get the pizza, Babe?! Lana, Lola, how could you?!"
Lana: "It did look like a butt in all fairness!"
Lola: "I should have known it was you..."
Leni: "You know, maybe it was from Chaz instead—"
    Twins: "NOT HELPING, LENI!"
  • Carl's video will result in everyone laughing at his expense, except Lori, who is completely stoic knowing full well what happened, and Bobby and Clyde, who are absolutely furious he was trying to woo Lori.
    • Someone will also sarcastically compare Carl's singing to the "Peaches" sequence from The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Or just to embarrass Carl further, Joe will outright show alternate takes of Carl's serenading, including one where he slips in a "Peaches" reference.
Carl: "A thousand feral gatos couldn't keep me from you!"
  • Lynn will absolutely cackle from the jock itch ad.

  • Partly confirmed. Leni doesn't mention Chaz, no one references "Peaches", and Lynn doesn't comment on the ad. Bobby and Clyde are no more upset with Carl than the others are.

Deal Me Out
  • It won't be just Clyde in the episode crying over the friendship backstory, so does nearly everyone else. Obviously Lynn Sr. and Frida, but so will Principal Huggins and Lynn Jr.
    • Lynn Jr. will be reprimanded again for leaving Lincoln behind, but they let it slide because it led to the birth of Clincoln McCloud.
  • Lori would not be surprised when Clyde mentions he knows her classmates from her yearbook.

  • Except for the crying, all confirmed.

Friendzy
  • Everyone will be shocked at Lincoln's ability to stop time.
  • The Loud siblings' friends will call them out for using them as pawns in their games.
  • Lisa will correct Rita's math, stating that there were actually 86 kids.

Ruthless People

What Wood Lincoln Do?
  • Everyone, especially the other pets, will take exception to Walt's behavior; particularly for destroying the dresser. Although Sergio will yell "Busted!" at least once.

Really Loud Music
  • The Louds, especially Luna, will be shocked to see the names "Doug" and "Michelle" on the title card. Joe explains that Doug Rockwell and Michelle Lewis are real people, and that they wrote and composed all of the songs in the episode. Joe might even point out that Doug Rockwell was voicing himself.
  • Sam goes full Violently Protective Girlfriend when she sees the way Doug and Michelle treat Luna.
  • It will be revealed that the Loud Siblings got payback on Doug and Michelle on Luna's behalf (her actually being aware of this is optional).
  • Most of the musical numbers will confuse everyone, with Luna herself admitting she's not even sure where they came from.
    • One exception: Lincoln and Clyde's song. That one could be diegetic considering the context is they're playing a rhythm game. It's just that Luna was hallucinating them singing along.

Gown and Out
  • Considering this episode is Dana Dufresne's first appearance post-transition, there will be some way to convey that to the cast without deadnaming her:
    • Lana and Lincoln will get a sense of deja-vu towards Dana, followed by Lola saying they've met her before in "Toads and Tiaras".
Lana: Wait, why does Dana sound familiar?
Lincoln: Getting a vague memory but I can't place it...
Lola: "You've met her before, during the Little Miss Prim and Perfect Pageant. Didn't you read the Pageant Daily issue where she came out as trans and it was all over the news?" [whips out a magazine with the proof]
    • Dana herself will make a guest appearance in that chapter and explain the connection herself.

Middle Men
  • Lincoln and Clyde will be absolutely horrified when they realize that they already met Mr. Bolhofner before they became sixth-graders. They'll also be flabbergasted that he used to look less sloppy.
    [Mr. Bolhofner comes on screen]
Lincoln: "Wait. Is that the Hof?!"
Clyde: "Oh good lord, it is him!"
Lincoln: "And I can't even believe he used to look far less gross than he does now!"
    • Lincoln will also wonder if him inadvertently giving Byron and Cici zeroes for participation is partially the reason he became a student of Mr. Bolhofner's.
Lincoln: "Clyde, you don't think that incident was why I got shafted to the Hof, right?"
Clyde: "Aside from the Flippee stain on the checklist, probably."
    • Lynn will be surprised Lincoln had already met Mr. Bolhofner before sixth grade, and feels guilty of telling him "Sucks to be you" when she found out he'd gotten the Hof as his homeroom teacher in "Schooled!"
  • Speaking of which, Lynn will be asked what about her changed between the events of this episode and when Lincoln and his friends finally went to middle school.

Predict Ability
  • Some of the Louds and Zach will get serious glares over how they (and Coach Pacowski) made Lincoln feel like he was predictable and had to change himself.
  • The audience will be impressed at Lincoln's ability to climb the rope, but will cringe when he suffers the rope burn.
  • The piercings on Lincoln's new goth outfit will anger Rita. When Lincoln again says that the piercings are fake, Rita doesn't care, saying that a nose ring crosses the line.
  • The audience will, in reaction to Lincoln's second nightmare, be creeped out, impressed, and increasingly enraged; before becoming horrified and tear-stricken when Lincoln jumps into the volcano. Much of the audience, especially Lincoln's sisters, will attempt to comfort him because they don't want him to even think about wanting to kill himself.

Home of the Fave
  • Most of the sibs will groan about Luan and Lynn Sr.'s constant jokes, saying this is why they don't go grocery shopping with her.
  • Someone will be surprised Lynn Sr. even bought a pony for Lola. When asked about the pony's fate, the Louds will mention it died and was buried in the backyard with Geo's five predecessors, referencing a deleted scene from the episode.
  • Lance, Sharon, and the cousins will join the cast, which is fitting because Lance first shows up in silhouette in this episode. Also, it will explained that Lana's hat used to belong to Lance.
  • The rest of the Loud kids (and Rita) will cringe when they see Lynn Sr. in the Fenton costume. Lincoln in particular will be shocked that the Fenton jacket fits Lynn Sr. as well, though he does admit that the gloves would've been too small.
    • Lucy will add that she was secretly gagging in disgust when she popped in through the vents and saw Lynn Sr. in the Fenton costume.
    • The others will be confused as to why he's even in the Fenton costume, knowing the toy frightens him.

Hero Today, Gone Tomorrow
  • Lincoln will relate to Lynn not being given a free pass in Mr. Bolhofner's class.

Friended! With the Casagrandes
  • The audience will be confused with why they are watching The Casagrandes instead of Season 4 of The Loud House. Joe explains that they are watching The Loud House: The next batch of episodes are meant to advertise the Casagrandes's spin-off show.

Power Play With the Casagrandes
  • The question of "Did the Louds return to their wasteful activities because 'old habits die hard' or just to spite Lincoln?" will be answered.
  • When it's revealed that Sergio was responsible for the high power and water bills, everyone else in the audience will yell "Busted!"

No Show With the Casagrandes
  • The revelation that the Casagrandes pranked Ronnie Anne for secretly liking the show that she claimed to hate. Lincoln would remember how his sisters (minus Lisa) pranked him for ignoring them, and Lucy would remember how she kept her love for Princess Pony from her sisters a secret.

Can't Hardly Wait
  • Someone will point out how all of the bad things that happened to Lori in this episode can be traced back to Kotaro's bad advice. Lori's friends will then glare at Kotaro.

A Grave Mistake
  • Lincoln, Lucy, Haiku, and the rest of the Morticians' Club will comment that the episode's title is the perfect description of the events of the episode.
  • There will be several comments about Lincoln's new "goth" costume:
    • Luna and/or her friends would consider the costume to be more "punk" than "goth".
    • Lincoln will be asked why he didn't wear any of his other goth costumes.
    • When Lincoln gives an answer, they'll ask why he decided to wear… that to the club meeting.
    • Then there will be the question of how Lincoln got that costume in the first place.

Kings of the Con
  • Lincoln and Clyde will have the rest of their friend group turn on them for trying to hog the glory of getting into the Ace Savvy movie.
    • And/or most of the cast (especially the Ace Savvy fans) will turn on the Loud sisters (again) for ignoring Lincoln and Clyde when the sisters got all of the attention, especially since Lincoln both created his sisters' characters and invited them to the convention in the first place.
  • Joe will mention "Ace Savvy VS Stether" or "Two Reflections, One Mirror" at some point.
  • Joe will also bring up how some fans, because of this episode, think that Lincoln and Clyde had given up on Ace Savvy. The two will explain why this isn't the case.

Season 5 (in general)
  • As "The Whole Picture" set a precedent, there will be references to Tanasweet's other work. Joe would mention her fanfic "Striked!", someone will decide to tell off Lori's dormmates, a revelation that Rita had told off Pat, someone deciding to give Flip a restraining order from the Louds, etc.
  • Lynn will begin to feel more and more guilty throughout this season for her behavior towards her friends, her family, and especially her brother; especially for how she acted as the hall monitor and ramping up calling her brother "Stinkoln".

Schooled!
  • There will be much Lampshade Hanging over the fact Lincoln's innocent request to be switched into a class with his friends somehow led to him going to school in Canada.
  • The Loud parents will be questioned as to why exactly they simply let Lincoln go to school in another country without questioning anything.
  • Someone will make a Total Drama reference.
  • Leni's friends will all be disapproving when they see Leni's behavior in this episode. Jackie and Mandee in particular will realize this is why they didn't see her at the first day of school.

Ghosted!
  • Someone will point out that using a ghost to win at golf counts as cheating.
  • The audience will deal with the unfortunate implications that "luck" and "good-luck charms" are Real After All.

The Taunting Hour
  • Luan will be called out for her hypocrisy over her telling Lucy to have a thick skin when Luan crumbled so easily.
    • She will also receive looks and be asked why she acted like this was the first time someone said that she wasn't funny. The events of "No Laughing Matter" will be mentioned directly.
  • Lisa, Lola, Lynn, Luan, Luna, Lynn Sr., and Rita will get a serious chewing out for calling Lincoln a "life-ruiner," especially if the events of this episode happened not long after the events of "Save Royal Woods!"
    • Joe might even compare this scene to the "nice sister/mean sister" dichotomy of the early days of the fandom; particularly because of who most of the "mean" sisters were in those days compared to this episode.
    • Lincoln will then be asked how he took being called a life-ruiner that calmly. He'll likely respond by saying that by this point, he's becoming numb to their insults.
  • Lori will be asked what she would have done if she was there during the episode.

Stroke of Luck
  • The episode's title would cause some of the audience's members, especially Lincoln and Lynn, to tense up.

The Loud Cloud
  • Lincoln's silhouette when he returns to the house in the rain will freak out the entire audience.
