WMG / Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club

Go To

Shioriko will appear as a cameo, and get a proper character reveal once the initial club drama ends
  • Alternatively, she appears at the end of Season 1, fitting with Word of God from that animator who said they didn't know she would join... that or it's a case of Lying Creator.
    • Jossed. She appears in season 2.

The next Love Live! anime after this one will be Darker and Edgier ala Tokimeki PokéLive! and TwinBee or at the very least, Sunshine.

Shioriko, Lanzhu, and Mia will be introduced at the same time in Season 2, and they'll be like the Dazzlings.
  • Half confirmed, Episode 1 revealed Lanzhu showing rivalry towards the School Idol Club as a soloist, with Mia writing her songs. It is until episode 6 where Shioriko joins the School Idol club, and episode 9 where Mia convinces Lanzhu not to leave Japan in order to continue being a School Idol for Nijigasaki Academy

Mirai Harmony will be used in one of the final episodes of Season 2
  • ALL STARS made the song playable as a tie-in to episode 11, except it wasn't in episode 11. Maybe this song will be used like the Insert Songs of episodes 8 and 10.
    • Kind of. An instrumental version plays somewhere during the episode.

This anime series would be the first of the entire Love Live franchise to have a third season
  • Because Nijigasaki is a spin-off of Love Live that does things differently, another season would introduce more character development for R3BIRTH and follow stories from Love Live! School idol festival ALL STARS
    • Not entirely confirmed but a Super-Deformed spinoff series is announced, being an adaptation of Nijiyon.

The Nijigasaki third years will make a song about running away
  • ...Or at least have the words "run away" in the lyrics, and it'd be sung during The Movie. µ's and Aqours did that. Then again, the Nijigasaki club has broken some old trends.

Tomori Kusunoki's successor as Setsuna/Nana
  • Minori Suzuki (though she's currently in Macross, which is a competitor of both Gundam (mecha side) and Love Live! (idol side)).
    • Jossed. Tomori's successor is revealed to be Coco Hayashi.

Tomori Kusunoki returns to the franchise (even outside of Nijigasaki such as Superstar!! or future installments), but she will voice a minor character, just like other big name voice actresses.
  • Either she voices a totally non-idol character or someone who is a former idol, as a Reality Subtext to her departure from the franchise.

If Coco Hayashi's voice acting as Setsuna turns out to be very different from Tomori Kusunoki's, a storyline will be made to explain the real-life changes.
  • Possible storylines are Setsuna trying out a new singing style, or a Sick Episode where her voice is greatly affected and she is required to have a surgery to her vocal cords (though this will be a Darker and Edgier storyline than the previous ones).
  • Jossed. As of Next Sky, Setsuna talks normally without an explanation how her voice was changed.
