The judge in the Basic Talk commercial is the daughter of Judge Judy and the Bailiff.

Her personality is very similar to Judy's. She is about a generation younger than Judy. Judy and the Bailiff regularly flirted on the original show. Judy is white, the Bailif is black, and this new woman seems to be half white and half black. Conclusion: Judy and the Bailif's flirtations ignited into a passionate affair, and this commercial shows the result.
