Because Elinor Wonders Why takes place in California, Animal Town is in between San Francisco and Los Angeles

Pre-release predictions for the special "A Wonderful Journey"

• If aired as a regular episode, the movie will be split in three or two parts.
• This special will follow Elinor asking her biggest question yet: "Why does she want to wonder why?" Meaning that this will be a Wham Episode.
  • CONFIRMED: This sneak peek of the special confirms that Elinor has asked questions in the past but now she wants to find out why she's asking them.
• Elinor, herself, will have either a Heroic BSoD or Break the Cutie moment at some point in the special.
  • Jossed. Elinor is concerned about the drought of the lakes, but it's not terribly heartbreaking.
• The special ends with Elinor reflecting back on some the adventures she had as she, Ari, and Olive head for home after their adventure and look forward to some new adventures that await her.

• The special will end with a Time Skip Imagine Spot to Elinor, ten years in the future, as a park ranger showing her daughter how she explored the wonders of the world.

    • Jossed: Elinor is never shown as a young bunny, though it is mentioned that Elinor met Beatriz when she was little.
• Elinor, Ari, and Olive will have an emotional friendship moment at some point in the movie, which includes a Group Hug.

If A Wonderful Journey is the Grand Finale of Elinor Wonders Why, then the special will end with Elinor reflecting on all the adventures she went on, a la Good-Times Montage and Clip Show, and becomes positive when she's ready to learn more and it ends with Elinor heading off for another adventure...

• If this is the final episode of the series, then this is a bittersweet way of saying farewell to a curious young rabbit, who will never stop exploring and that there's always something new waiting for her.
  • Slightly Jossed: It is unknown if the series will end after this special, but the special does end with one final shot of the location where the theme song ends in a bittersweet moment.
