Launchpad was bluffing when he said making all of Duckburg dumb would make everyone forget how to breathe
In a last-ditch effort to to stop Steelbeak's plan, he made something up, knowing Steelbeak would be dumb enough to believe it, and hoping he so evil that he would willingly do something so catastrophic. Unfortunately for him, Steelbeak really is that evil.

The Rescue Rangers will be built up much like Darkwing Duck was in the previous Seasons.
Word of God says that they have BIG plans for the Rescue Rangers. Likely, this means that hints at a Rescue Rangers-centric episode will be scattered across the season, leading ultimately to a "The Duck Knight Returns"-esque Wham Episode that will effectively unite both the worlds of Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers and DuckTales (2017).

The Rescue Rangers will be involved in subplots with Donald Duck.
Since Donald is part of Ducktales and the Rescue Rangers have now joined the Show, it's likely that future episodes will feature subplots involving both. In a Mythology Gag alluding to the early shorts, where Donald was at odds with Chip and Dale, Donald will find himself chasing the Rangers for one reason or another.

Zipper was created by accident.
In the video showing Heron's experimentation on the Rangers, Zipper was not among the animals in the glass tanks. That said, it's likely that Heron created him by accident when the intelligence ray misfired, zapping a fly that happened to be flying around her lab.
  • Maybe, Zipper flew into the beam when the Intelligence Ray was being fired or tested on the other Rangers?
    • It has to have been Dale's beam

The Rescue Rangers-based episode will be one involving both them and the kids.
When the time comes for the Rescue Rangers, Zipper included, to make their big debut, they will end up befriending the kids. Webby, in particular, will immediately be gushing over how cute they are and name them. And they will likely be able to understand them because, by that point, the Rangers will have all learned to speak in the duck/human language. This then leads to the kids and the Rangers embarking on an adventure that will see the latter rescue the former. After discovering how good they are at rescuing people, the Rangers then decide to make it their job, and set up their headquarters in a tree outside McDuck Manor so that they can be close to their new friends.

Friendships will be formed between the kids and the Rescue Rangers.
Going off of the above WMG, the kids will soon befriend each of the Rangers for their shared character traits. Examples include:
  • Huey and Chip: Huey will befriend Chip as they are The Leaders to their respective groups and for being Control Freaks.
  • Dewey and Monty: Dewey and Monty will immediately hit it off due to being both Hot-Blooded and habitually adventurous.
  • Louie and Dale: Both are habitually lazy, especially when compared to the sensible Chip/Huey.
  • Webby and Gadget: For being incredibly crafty as well as the only females in their groups.

The Rangers' ability to talk and their personalities will at least be partially influenced by exposure to television
In a case of Learnt English from Watching Television, the Rescue Rangers will develop both the capability of speaking and their distinct personalities as a result of watching different television programs (i.e. Chip growing to like shows revolving around detective work, Gadget benefiting from watching programs on science networks, etc.). This will be used to justify Monterey Jack's Awesome Aussie status on account of him witnessing the exploits of the Ducktales equivalent of "Crocodile" Dundee or Steve Irwin.

Webby will be responsible for Monty developing his obsession with cheese.
After gushing over them, Webby will give the Rangers some food to eat. Monty, in particular, will be given some cheese. After taking the first bite, Monty will then say "Cheeeeezzzze!!!" and have his first ever "cheese attack", which will then result in him rapidly devouring the rest of the cheese, much to the shock of the other Rangers and the kids.

Black Heron provided Gadget her outfit, who then gave the other Rangers their outfits.
Along with increasing her intelligence, being struck by the beam from Heron's Intelli-Ray also gave Gadget an increased sense of shame and made her embarrassed to be technically naked in front of her creator. Given that F.O.W.L.'s hideout is located beneath a restaurant for children, Heron probably got Gadget's signature jumpsuit from a doll or action figure that had gotten lost in the restaurant's ball pit and fell down into the base. After the other Rangers got their intelligence raised and escaped from their cages, Gadget most likely provided them their uniforms from other clothed toys that had fallen into the hideout.
  • Even if Heron didn't get personally involved in it, the Rangers getting their clothes from dolls lost by kids or offered as ticket prizes makes a lot of sense. They'd probably be Sylvanian Families type dolls, as a mouse, bipedal or not, would still be too small to fit into Barbie clothing.

The Rescue Rangers will be instrumental in helping to take down F.O.W.L.
Much like how Darkwing returned for "Moonvasion!", the Rescue Rangers will return for the season finale, where they'll help the Duck Family fight F.O.W.L. The most likely scenario is that the Rangers will help the ducks escape F.O.W.L., who's holding them hostage, while taking the opportunity to cause the evil organization's plans to fall apart using some sabotage on Gadget's part.

The Rescue Rangers will end up with the Intelli-ray and will use it to create some other characters from the original show.
For whatever reason, Bradford Buzzard never destroyed the ray, deciding it might be useful at a later date. The Rangers decide to return to F.O.W.L headquarters. There they find the ray and decide to take it with them, using it to add a few more members to their ranks. I know this one is a long shot, but who wouldn't want to see characters like Foxglove or Tammy again?

Just as how she was responsible for the creation of the Rescue Rangers, Black Heron (and to a lesser extent Bradford Buzzard) will be responsible for the creation of Fat Cat
Relating to the above WMG involving Bradford not destroying the intelli-ray, Bradford will at some point decide that the very existence of the rodents who freed Scrooge's great nephew and chauffeur/pilot and took down one of his agents runs the risk of F.O.W.L. being discovered by either Clan MacDuck or S.H.U.S.H., and will give the Intelli-ray back to Black Heron if only to ensure her using it will end with the Rangers being reverted to their original states of being. In order to hunt them down, Heron will use the ray on a cat, rationalizing the best chance of tracking down her escaped lab specimens is to use their natural predator. Although Heron manages to make the cat cunning, ruthless, and competent enough to locate the Rangers, it will also get smart enough to wonder why it needs to take orders and rebel against Heron, steal the ray, and use it to create a group of animal henchmen to aid him in his crimes. It will then take on the name "Fat Cat" and desert F.O.W.L. to begin his own life of crime.

"Suavepad" is actually the original personality while LP is the alter ego.
Suavepad says"I'll take over from here" casually, as if he's done this before, and points out that FOWL is 'back, hinting that he might have run into them before. Perhaps Suavepad was hit with the/an intellegence ray before, causing him to become the Launchpad we know and love?

Gyro will play a role in the Rangers being able to speak English
Two of his inventions we've seen on the show have been the Barksian Modulator and a "micro-phone" with a built-in shrink ray. If he encounters the rangers and they try to communicate with him, he could easily make four of the modulators for Chip, Dale, Monty, and Gadget, shrink them down for the rodents to swallow and speak with.
