Reinhardt's House by Reinhardt-C is an Idle Game.

You explore the titular house, battle monsters who drop gold, and move on the next floor once you find the stairs. Once you have enough gold, you can buy potions to upgrade your stats and upgrades to automate aspects of gameplay like progressing through rooms and battling.

The game supposedly reaches Ackermannian level growth with a cap of 10{1000}10, but don't get your hopes up that you'll get there, since the balancing makes it unviable to progress past the eee notation.

It is playable on Github.

This game provides examples of:

  • A.I.-Generated Economy: For 1e300 gold, you can buy the ability to automatically purchase potions. They won't make a dent in your money at that point, though.
  • Continuing is Painful: Dying sends you back to room 1 with no gold.
  • Early Game Hell: You're likely to die a lot before you buy the first strength potion for 500 gold. Once you do, the game becomes far smoother as you become strong enough to kill almost everything standing in your way.
  • Export Save: You can export the 1.4KB+ save file from a window that pops up and paste it into the game.
  • The Goomba: The most common early game enemy is a blob with 10 health that deals only 1 damage. Even on later floors, it's a pushover.
  • Money Multiplier: Each luck potion multiplies gold gain.
  • New Game Plus: Upon exploring far enough (past floor 30), you gain the ability to take a nap and enter a dream layer with even higher stats, but all gold is reset.
  • Random Encounters: You meet some enemy every few rooms. Killing them typically grands gold.
  • Shout-Out: Some of the enemies include Rick Astley, SCP999, and Spongebob.
