Meet Bunfriend and Munkfriend - Amazing Technicolored Funny Animal counterparts of Boyfriend and Girlfriend respectively who just came to vibe through the forest of Happy Tree Friends, rap-fighting the various well known inhabitants such as Flippy and Lumpy. While there's nothing wrong with that - at first - this funky couple knows one thing when it comes to this whole shtick; depending on their chosen opponent, things can either go right or horribly wrong...

is a Happy Tree Friends-themed Friday Night Funkin' mod created by Keno9988ii with only one new week featuring Flippy upon release, with more opponents planned to appear in the near future.
Due to the controversy surrounding Keno9988ii, the mod was trashed on Gamebanana with a notice saying that anything involving the mod is banned from the site. It is still available to play on Gamejolt, however.

Happy Tree Funkers provides examples of:
- Adaptation Name Change: Boyfriend and Girlfriend are both called Bunfriend and Munkfriend respectively, as part of the Adaptation Species Change below.
- Adaptation Personality Change: In the base game, Boyfriend and Girlfriend were idiots who are just too dumb to acknowledge any sort of danger. Here - most likely due to the lack of Plot Armor that he and Girlfriend had in the original game - Bunfriend gets scared of Fliqpy approaching him in the ending cutscene.
- Adaptation Species Change: Boyfriend and Girlfriend, a human and a demon in the original game, are a rabbit and a chipmunk here respectively.
- Art Shift: The mod's art is very much more geared towards the Happy Tree Friends art style instead of following the original game's art style.
- Evil Sounds Deep: Once Flippy flips out, he gains a deep voice just like he does in the show.
- Foreshadowing: In the opening cutscene, Handy gets run over by Lumpy's car while Lumpy himself is trying to read a newspaper while driving. In the ending, Lumpy is still distracted by his newspaper and manages to run Bunfriend, Munkfriend, and Fliqpy over.
- Half the Man He Used to Be: If you lose during a level where Fliqpy is the opponent, you have the pleasant sight of seeing Bunfriend being chopped vertically in half by Fliqpy's signature knife. Also happens in the ending, where when Lumpy runs Bunfriend over, he gets severed horizontally in half.
- The Hero Dies: In the ending cutscene to Flippy's week, both Bunfriend and Munkfriend get hit and killed along with Flippy by Lumpy's car, with the latter two being run over.
- Hope Spot: When Flaky returns in the final cutscene, one would think that she was lucky enough to avoid her demise. Unfortunately, she gets run through the torso with Bunfriend's corpse.
- Iris Out: The week ends with one focused on the microphone Bunfriend's corpse was still holding before he finally lets go, causing it to make the same feedback noise that accompanies getting a game over in the base game.
- It's a Wonderful Failure: If you fail to beat Fliqpy, he will cut Bunfriend in half with his knife.
- Lethally Stupid: Lumpy, just like in the show proper his idiocy ends up getting others killed, in particular Handy gets run over in the opening cutscene because Lumpy was reading a newspaper rather than paying attention to the road while driving, while Bunfriend, Munkfriend and Fliqpy get run over at the end of the week.
- Mic Drop: Played for Drama. When the fireworks are set off causing Flippy's PTSD to be triggered, he drops his microphone as he transforms into Fliqpy.
- Oh, Crap!: Flaky goes wide-eyed with fear when Fliqpy shows up in the second song, and wisely leaves before Fliqpy can set his sights on her. Bunfriend and Fliqpy have a similar reaction to seeing Lumpy about to run them and Munkfriend over, with a higher pitch tone from Bunfriend in lieu of a panicked scream.
- Plot Armor: Horrifically averted, as Bunfriend and Munkfriend are just as susceptible to death as the rest of the Tree Friends, and end up dying at the end of the week, courtesy of Lumpy running them and Fliqpy over.
- Secret Level: Two freeplay exclusive songs, "Unseized" and "Double Whammy".
- They Killed Kenny Again: During Flippy's week, Handy dies in the opening cutscene for "Salute" by being run over by Lumpy's car, Russell gets killed by Fliqpy in the opening cutscene for "Fury", while Fliqpy, Bunfriend, Munkfriend, and Flaky die in the ending cutscene for "Fury", with the former three being run over by Lumpy's car, and Flaky being impaled in the torso by the severed Bunfriend.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Lumpy, Pop, Cub, and Giggles survive throughout the whole week.
