Freddy in Space 3: Chica in Space is a Spinoff of the massively popular Five Nights at Freddy's series. It was developed by Scott Cawthon and teased as being a tie-in promotional game for Five Nights at Freddy's (2023), only to be yet another troll game that isn't anything like what he claimed it to be.

Freddy in Space 3 provides examples of:
- Ambiguous Gender: Mangle never being referred to by a specific gender is acknowledged during Quiz Time with Monty, where one of the questions is "What is Mangle's gender?" The two possible answers are "No!" and "Yes!"
- Ascended Meme: One Dawko video has him yell in horror in response to a picture of Helpy's head edited onto a muscular man's body, with pictures of muscley versions of Helpy skyrocketing in popularity because of it. In this game, the Boss Battle of Meme Cavern is Buff Helpy.
- Excuse Plot: In-universe, Scott Cawthon acknowledges that the game exists just to be a diversion from having to release any new footage from the franchise's live-action movie... though he says he might show off said footage if the player can beat it.
- Humongous Mecha: The boss of the Quiz Time with Monty stage is Gregory from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach piloting a giant mech suit version of Glamrock Freddy.
- Mythology Gag:
- One of the enemies in the Atlantis-inspired underwater stage is Felix the Shark from the Fazbear Frights story of the same name. A giant, animatronic Sea Bonnie serves as the final boss of the same stage.
- Two enemies are based on Charlie's old toys from the The Silver Eyes trilogy: the unicorn enemy in Kawaii Heaven looks like Stanley if he were battery-operated and lacked wheels, while one of the futuristic vehicles in Space Highway is piloted by the Ella doll.
- Protagonist Title: The secondary title of the game is Chica in Space; accordingly, Chica's the starting player character due to the others (Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy, and Mangle) getting kidnapped by Scott Cawthon.
- Recycled Soundtrack: The Final Boss fight against Scott Cawthon reuses the DJ Music Man boss music from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach.
