Five-Leaf Clover is an Idle Game by Moczan released in 2016. In it, you have two clovers which you have to breed to make improved ones. Each new mutation can be put in a museum, and if it's already there, it can be sold for money. These are spent for upgrades to make the process go faster.

Ultimate Five-Leaf Clover was released in 2017 with more stuff (meant to give the game almost endless gameplay), with the addition of the titular item actually being in the game.

Not to be confused with 4 Leaf Clovers.

This game provides examples of:

  • Bribing Your Way to Victory: Back when the game was still playable on Kongregate, you could buy multipliers to gold and science income for Kreds which are bought with real money.
  • Color-Coded Item Tiers: Each new clover tier uses a different color, so tier 1 is green and blue, tier 2 is blue and purple, tier 3 is purple and pink, etc.
  • Creature-Breeding Mechanic: You breed clovers to make mutated ones every few seconds.
  • Export Save: You can export a 110KB+ save file from the menu and paste it in to import it.
  • Four-Leaf Clover: You make a lot of them. Your main goal is creating a five-leaf one.
  • Glowing Flora: Starting from tier 10, clovers leaves may have a glowing effect.
  • Gotta Catch 'Em All: One of the goals is trying to get every single clover variation of all 260 tiers for the museum.
  • Updated Re-release: Ultimate Five Leaf Clover, which has a lot of mechanics and systems, including actually having the titular item in the game.
