Aeronautica is a flight simulator on ROBLOX developed by the group Aeronautica Community. It is a revival of Wingz World V, an older game developed by Nahr_Nahrstein. The game revolves around flying planes to earn the 2 in-game currencies, Cash and Wingz Points (WP), to buy more planes. Additionally, helicopters and airships are avaliable, and boats will come in a future update.

The game currently contains more than 230 planes, and there are 7 rarities, 6 of which are publicly available. These rarities are, in order of least to most common: White, Green, Yellow, Purple, Blue, Orange, and Red.

Aeronautica contains examples of:

  • Awesome, but Impractical: Most military aircraft in the game. They make look cool and you can fly them for fun, but their lack of jobs (excluding the Norman Canyon Dash and Precision Strike) mean they're better off being used for crate hunting or flexing. Certain jobs also fall under this category, like Storm Hunting. While it may be fun to fly through a series of points into a storm, getting there can sometimes require multiple refueling stops. The time it takes to complete one usually mean the payout isn't worth it.
    • As of 1.60, this now applies to ekranoplans: Their earnings are about the same as most commercial airliners, while being significantly more expensive and rare.
  • Boring, but Practical: The ultralights, and most airliners, excluding the Supersonic transports. While flying a PC-12 may not be as fun as a Concorde, airliners allow players to grind to the next stage of the game. For jobs, transport jobs can be these. You fly from Point A to Point B, but the WP/minute rates can be good for a beginner.
  • Cool Plane: Obviously, since the game is a flight simulator, there are lots of them.
  • Difficult, but Awesome: The in-game helicopter controls. Compared to other flight simulators or games with them such as Jailbreak (Roblox), mastering them can take quite a bit of skill, and many players lose large amounts of cash crashing during landing on an oil rig, which is part of the training. However, once a player learns the controls, they can land nearly anywhere in the game, and crate hunting becomes easier.
    • Supersonic Transports are a similar story, especially to those who're used to flying the subsonic airliners and cargo planes (piston or jet-powered) with relative ease. They're gas guzzlers and very, very expensive to refuel and maintain, and someone new to them can easily be down half a tank before they've even levelled out after take-off. However, their speed will effectively allow you to slice travel time in half (if not less), allowing a pilot to rake in tens if not hundreds of thousands of WP per hour (especially with the higher-tier business jets like the Hypermach Sonicstar).
  • Easter Egg: There are several in the game, including:
    • A Submarine with a picture of Chick Hicks on it surrounded by cube-shaped cows, referencing one of the game's developers.
    • A Cube of corn at the Oconee Terminal.
    • A small island southeast of the continent of Avalon, containing an Imposter statue.
    • The tallest skyscraper in the city next to Harden plays the Among Us Trap Remix.
    • An unmarked island between Baralku and Eisenhardt with a few cabins and a volcano, playing the Total Drama Theme song.
  • No Communities Were Harmed: Most of the airports in-game are this, including:
    • Clarence International: New York Laguardia.
    • Harden International: Miami International
    • Kitesboro International: San Bernardino International
    • Anhedral International and Anhedral City: London Heathrow and London City, respectively.
    • Valois International: Luxembourg International
    • Sandris International: Munich International
    • Torchevel Airstrip: Courchevel Airport
    • Saint Baralku: Saint Barthelemy Airport
    • Eisenhardt Island: Novaya Zemlya note
  • Last Lousy Point: More like Last Lousy Part. All of the crate vehicles in-game come in parts, with the plane and part number itself being completely random. An example of this would be a player having 8 "F-22 Raptor Part 1/5"s, but only 1 "F-22 Raptor Part 3/5". Fortunately, trading exists, so this is not always an issue.
  • Spiritual Successor: To Wingz World V.
