Wanted to call himself plain "RetroRocker", as this is the online handle he's been using for literally
everything since 2004, but was told to use this alternate name
with silly numbers in it because ""
Retro Rocker" was already taken", annoyingly.
He generally only likes music between the
mid sixties and the late eighties, although he isn't actually old enough to have seen it firsthand.
Hell,
he was only born in '88.
Thin Lizzy are his favourite band, but he
hardly ever listens to them anymore.
He's
English and never takes himself seriously, due to an almost crippling sense of
self-depreciating humour.
He loves
Doctor Who (
which ended in 1996), especially the
4th doctor era, and used to be a Warhammer 40,000 & Games Workshop devotee
until he realised that he could instead use the money to teach himself how to play guitar. ..and bass. ..and keyboards. ...and drums.
He's a massive fan of the 1999 computer game "
System Shock 2", and constantly seeks to remind everyone that it exists, should be played/owned by all gamers everywhere, is far better than
BioShock, and should blatently be re-released, preferably on something like Valve's "Steam" content distribution system.
Also is a fan of
Red Dwarf,
British comedy panel shows,
Dirty Harry movies and G1
Transformers. In fact, most nerdy things, except japanesey stuff, which he never got his head around. Well, except
Dragon Ball Z. And
Gundam Wing.
...He also could be a massive hypocrite.
Also recently discovered he's largely a
Knight In Sour Armour.

"He doesn't talk to people unless talked to, and while he is polite to other people, he doesn't talk with them any longer than is necessary. Except when he knows the person in question has a common interest, in which case he is likely to start long, winding conversations. Thus his few friends consider him a extroverted and talkative guy, while the rest of the world considers a him very introverted, quiet and vaguely creepy person."
