This troper loves Weird Japanese Things, UNIX-like operating systems, chiptunes, Retro Gaming and Indie Games. Why, he even has a little blog
on some of those very same topics!
On the other hand, this troper really, really hates so-called 'realism' in entertainment, 'art' games, pedantism, bureaucracy and politics (except when epic Mahjong battles are involved, of course). Oh, and fish (he does like squid, but not as food!).
