Insect God is a consummate geek of a teenage girl. Throughout her educational career, she has acquired a reputation as either a Deadpan Snarker, Bunny-Ears Lawyer, or complete Jerkass (it really depends on whom you ask) with a tendency toward Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness. Her talents include a facility with languages, fairly decent artistic abilities, and math-ing real quick-like. She studies rarely (if ever) and deeply suspects that her good grades can be attributed more towards luck and quick thinking than any real effort. TV Tropes has indeed thoroughly ruined her life, but so far she's enjoyed the experience. Most often, she can be found haunting the works of Terry Pratchett or loitering in Nightmare Fuel, Uncanny Valley, Moral Dissonance, So Bad, It's Good, and occasionally Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead. Insect God has a nasty tendency to be really into theatre, the terror of which is only compounded by her love of absurdism. She also kind of wants to be Oscar Wilde when she grows up.
in Real Life, Insect God might often be referred to dismissively as a hipster. Really, though, she's just a Gentleman and a Scholar.
