• Content Leak: Merchandise featuring the names and full-body designs for all four initial Cures leaked on Weibo; what makes this notable in comparison to past leaks is that this occurred only four days after the reveal of the logo, with a massive amount of arbitrary skepticism as a result. Soon after, they were confirmed to be the real deal by some text-only merchandise listings on Hong Kong-based online retailer Game Fun House, which used the same names as in the initial leaks (give or take some wonky spelling).
• Only Barely Renewed: Toei Animation confirmed that the series would be simulcast in the West, about two days before the series' Japanese premiere. The next day, it was confirmed it would be simulcast on Crunchyroll as per usual. Similar to most other Pretty Cure series of the early 2020s, the Crunchyroll announcement was made the day before its Japanese premiere.
• Promoted Fangirl: Maria Naganawa was a fan of the Pretty Cure franchise growing up and states that being able to voice a Cure (full-time) is a dream come true for her.
• Spoiled by the Merchandise: One item in the merchandise line is a pink dress for the Komugi doll. This was released the same day as the first wave of merchandise, and therefore spoiled the gift Mayu gave to Iroha at the end of episode 7.
• You Sound Familiar: This season has quite a number of returning voice actors from prior series:
  • Maria Naganawa previously voiced Junna Tokura and one of the future timeline Cures in HuGtto! Pretty Cure prior to being cast as Komugi/Cure Wonderful.
  • Atsumi Tanezaki previously voiced Puka in Pretty Cure All Stars F prior to being cast as Iroha/Cure Friendy.
  • Satsumi Matsuda, who voices Yuki/Cure Nyammy, had a role as Beryberie right in the previous season and as Touji Sawaizumi in Healin' Good♡Pretty Cure.
  • Shinnosuke Tachibana, who voices Mey Mey, previously voiced Prince Kanata in Go! Princess Pretty Cure.
