• Contest Winner Cameo: The voices of the kid version of Tulio, Bodoque and Juanin in The Movie were the winners of a contest.
• Cross-Dressing Voices: Álvaro Díaz as Rosario Central, Jani Dueñas as Hielito and Pato Willy, among others.
• Descended Creator: Tulio Triviño and Juan Carlos Bodoque, the most famous characters from the show, are voiced by Pedro Peirano and Álvaro Diaz, the creators of the show.
• Development Gag: In 'El fin del mundo', the clip shown of how Tulio was before going through plastic surgery was actually footage of an unaired pilot.
• Edited for Syndication:
  • The syndication version of the series (for both international broadcast and DVD releases) features many changes done to the original version. The most significative ones are changing the Chilean slang for expressions in a neutral language and changing some of the music (due to licensing issues).
  • The syndication version of season one also features the graphics and continuity used in season two and afterwards, and the intro to the Calcetín con Rombos Man segments introduced from season two.
  • Also, the Mexican channel Once TV made further edits to several episodes, removing some rude language as well as references to El Chavo del ocho and songs performed by Mexican artists.
  • Note that this doesn't apply to full episodes uploaded at the show's official YouTube channel, as that episodes belong to the original version, instead of the syndication one.
• Executive Meddling: Patana was added to the show because in focus group made by the channel they pointed that the show needed a "permanent female character". Her name, which translates as 'she-bumpkin', reflects the initial lack of enthusiasm by the crew. ^note InUniverse, Patana is a stage name she adopts after her full given name which is Patricia Ana, (PATricia ANA).

  • Also, Pedro Peirano was the screenwriter of the Oscar-nominated movie No.
  • Few people is aware that Rodrigo Salinas, who plays a bunch of characters in El club de la comedia, also voiced Juanín and Mario Hugo in this show.
  • Jani Dueñas, the one who made Patana's voice as well various females voices of the show, already had a career in stand-up comedy scene, as well being part of one of the seasons of El club de la comedia with Rodrigo Salinas.

• What Could Have Been:
  • The show was originally going to be named "El Gabinete del Doctor Mojado" (The Cabinet of Dr. Wet) in a Shout-Out to The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Back then, Tulio was going to be a real fish in a tank while Bodoque was a frog puppet. Those ideas were changed because the fish died during the shooting of the first pilot and because of the fear that having a frog as a main character would draw comparisons to Kermit the Frog.
  • The series pilot shows that Carla Rubio was originally going to be a large original puppet with curly black hair named "Karla Rulos" (Karla Curls).
  • Originally, the main villain of The Movie was going to be a non-puppet human named Adriana Godán. Additionally, she would be played by Brazilian actress Sônia Braga. She was replaced by Cachirula because of the complications that filming live-action actors and puppets at the same time would ensue.
  • In The Movie, Tulio and his friends weren't going to enter "El Mar de los Vientos Tremendos" (The Sea of the Tremendous Winds) at one part, but rather "El Mar de la Irresponsabilidad" (The Sea of Irresponsability). There, they would undergo a Toon Transformation and be tempted to stay by a mysterious evil entity who had assumed the forms of various sailors and of an alien. The scene ended up being cut because of how expensive it would turn out to be.
  • Toonzone Studios (the company behind the infamous American localization of YooHoo & Friends), had intended to produce a localized version for American audiences but it ended up being turned down by broadcasters.
