Sônia Maria Campos Braga (born 8 June 1950 in Maringá, Brazil) is a Brazilian actress.

Braga first became a household name in her native Brazil in 1975 when she starred in the soap opera Gabriela, which was a great national and international success, with Braga eventually reprising the role in a 1983 film adaptation. In 1976, she made Dona Flor And Her Two Husbands, which was a box office hit of the Brazilian cinema and also had major repercussions internationally.

A decade later, Braga earned international acclaim for her performance in Kiss of the Spider Woman, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination and kicked off her English-speaking career. In 1987 she became the first Brazilian to present a category at the Academy Awards Ceremonies, being one of the co-presenters for Best Short Film. She went on to star in such films as The Milagro Beanfield War, Moon over Parador and The Burning Season, earning two more Golden Globe nominations and an Emmy Award nomination for the latter.

She is the aunt of Alice Braga.
