  • Studio Hop: The OVA was produced by Madhouse. Meanwhile, GoHands was going to produce the TV series before Tokyo Babylon Project announced that the series was going to move to a new studio in March 2021.
  • What Could Have Been: A planned TV anime adaptation began production under GoHands and directors Shingo Suzuki (K) and Susumu Kudo (Mardock Scramble), with the intent of an April 2021 premiere. However, in December 2020, the project was delayed because of concerns that Subaru and Hokuto Sumeragi's costumes were respectively plagiarized from a promotional photo featuring Yeri from Red Velvet and an outfit for a Volks doll. After an investigation revealed that there were more instances of plagiarism from GoHands (including in K, their best-known anime), the series was canceled altogether with only the first 13 episodes completed. GoHands sued King Records for 450 million yen over the canceled anime since the show was supposed to run for 21 episodes.
