• Content Leak: On April 7th, 2023 (one day before the episode's initial airtime), a screenshot of the epilogue of an older Willow flying that was not supposed to be public was accidentally revealed by YouTube TV. The screenshot in question was quickly taken down, but by then it had already spread quickly on social media.
• Development Gag:
  • A photo in the Noceda household reveals that Luz and Vee joined either a baseball or softball team at some point during the Time Skip, calling back to the baseball bat that Luz wielded in her beta design.
  • Similarly, Luz's shirt after the Time Skip resembles the one that her pilot design wore.
  • Lilith was originally supposed to be the principal of Hexside. Here, Eda ends up becoming headmaster for the new University of Wild Magic.
• Edited for Syndication: Due to the episode's 55-minute runtime - the longest in Disney TVA history - a shortened, 47-minute version was created for all future reruns on Disney Channel and Disney XD, cutting out the scene of Bump reuniting with the Hexside students as well as the entire epilogue. Dana confirmed this on her Twitter shortly after the finale premiered.
  • However, this version aired on Disney Channel Canada on its initial premiere, leaving local viewers without the Distant Finale.
• Meaningful Release Date: Luz proves herself to be the true Messianic Archetype of the Boiling Isles, being killed in a Heroic Sacrifice, revived and empowered by the local Top God, and uses that power to defeat the Satanic Archetype and False Prophet, so it's only fitting that the finale premiered the day before Easter.
• What Could Have Been: After the episode released some of the crew released a few behind the scenes tidbits, such as concept art of Titan Luz that had her looking closer to King and some storyboards that show in the early drafts Odalia was going to have a bigger role.
• Word of God: A few hours after the finale aired, Dana Terrace stated on Twitter that Hunter's new Palisman is named Waffle. She also confirmed that his Palisman is female, saying she envisions her as "FJ's lil sis".
