• Blooper:
  • In one shot, the scar on Luz's eyebrow is missing.
  • In a Freeze-Frame Bonus when all of the puppets comes crashing down to the floor, you can make out that the Collector's and King's layers are over top of them instead of the other away around.
  • In the scene where the detention pit is collapsing, Hunter's tooth gap is missing.
• Content Leak: On January 5th, 2023, just over two weeks before it was meant to air, the entire episode was accidentally made available on the Canadian iTunes store. By the time it was taken down, it had already been downloaded and shared widely.
• Fandom Nod:
  • The Hexsquad's guesses for what Luz's Palisman would be (a dragon, a bird, an otter, a bat, and a snake) were all the most common guesses within the fanbase.
  • Amity saying she tried to organize a student council at Hexside may be a reference to the song 'Little Miss Perfect' which is frequently associated with Amity within the fandom (and is apparently Hooty's favourite song)
• The Other Darrin: Despite Arin Hanson returning to voice the blond oracle guy, he doesn't reprise his role as the bat-eared student from "Enchanting Grom Fright"; Kimberly Brooks voices him instead.
• What Could Have Been: Camila and Luz's heart-to-heart scene was originally planned to play out a bit differently, with the most significant change being that Camila would have briefly discussed how she met Luz's father at a sci-fi convention and how he was the first person to make her feel understood after a lifetime of bullying.
• Word of God: The In-Universe reason Lilith wasn't affected by the draining spell was because her sigil was either removed when she defected or she had never been given one because Belos hates her that much.^note The reason she was never drawn with a sigil on her arm was because the crew actually forgot to give her one.
