- Development Hell: The console versions have fallen into this. Eventually, the game did get a Wii U and 3DS release. The sequel, on the other hand, was never released outside of the PC until the Updated Re-release of Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe which included a Switch port (with Freakzone Games saying that the primary motivation of the rerelease was to get the sequel onto consoles).
- What Could Have Been:
- Kyle Justin a.k.a. The Guitar Guy, was originally seen in early footage of the game as playable in the flesh but in the final game he only appears as a skeleton and all his dialogue has been replaced with "...". Whatever reason the developers had for this, it was done with the mutual agreement of Kyle Justin himself.
- The level "Beat It & Eat It" was originally going to be stylized like the rest of the game, but at some point it went to the Atari-like look now. According to Stuttering Craig, the original plan "Just looked dirty". The original graphics can still be found with some hex editing, and looks to be mostly finished aside from General Custer not moving or having a hit box.
- Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: When the game was ported to Wii U, screenshots were initially allowed to be posted on Miiverse. However, the vulgar content within the game, along with the fact that there's no age restriction for Miiverse communities, meant that posting screenshots from the game was disabled after a few days, much to the displeasure of the Miiverse users. Since then, screenshots are allowed again, but the moderators have (inconsistently) attempted to censor the less savory ones.
