Warning: spoilers unmarked! There is a decent amount of trivia material that NEEDS context from the respective endgames of the story's various chapters, thus making spoilers inevitable.
- Shout-Out:
- The idea of restoring Nega-Iofi via Hyper-Go-On energy from Pekora and Astel's Wisp companions is based on the fact that Nega-Wisps are the result of Wisps having their energy sapped completely. The usage of raw Hyper-Go-On for reversing the Nega process isn't actually used in Sonic Colours outside of the World-Healing Wave performed by the Mother Wisp herself, since she was purified via the positive energy of Super Sonic - but another fan-series features the heroes blasting a corrupted Mother Wisp with the energy of her children in lieu of a Super Form too.
- Shining Sonic's crystalline wings appearing as a 'flourish' accompanying his stronger attacks is credited as one to Rock Howard of Garou: Mark of the Wolves fame.
- In a similar vein, Aki's use of dance to channel her magic (and particularly belly-dancing) has been compared to Shantae

- What Could Have Been: This being a regularly updated series, there's a lot to get through here.
- In the first ever piece of Sonic/Hololive crossover art by Juddy that eventually gave rise to Sonic Holograph, Sonic used his Classic-era design (specifically being represented similarly to his appearance in the Sonic CD opening cutscene) with Pekora sporting matching proportions.
- In the early days of the AU, the Hololive characters were given 'Sonicified' names. These were as follows:
- Korone = Cornet
- Fubuki = Blizzard
- Watame = Ballad
- Mio = Fortune
- Okayu = Pudding
- Despite appearing in this early stage in artwork, Pekora and Kanata never had altered names conceived for them before the concept was dropped. Coco had also been planned this far back, but didn't get art until much later when it was decided on she would appear in Plasmagic Seasons!!.
- Roboco would've originally been based off of her hololive counterpart's regular design, with more skin-colored parts and a crest akin to her rabbit ears.
- The original plan for Plasmagic Seasons was that Blaze's Summer form would be acquired last, being the form that would give her back the flame powers that she is known for. However, it was rather quickly switched out for the firework-blasting taiko drummer form that it is now.
- Before, the idea behind Hoshinova was that she only granted her hosts with some additional purple from the head down, making Moona naturally blonde. This would have also made Nova Shadow's purple far less complete, with parts of his body still being his natural black. However, this would later be scrapped... almost right in time for "High Tide".
- What If?: There is concept art for Sonic gaining seasonal forms ala Blaze, complete with their personalities and a plotline about their general instability due to how much of a mess of character traits Sonic actually is. These were drawn by SinFrog after Blaze's own seasonal forms had all been designed as well as Choco of the Autumn, to explore the power system of Plasmagic and get a more nuanced understanding of what could be done with it.
