With Sonic the Hedgehog and hololive coming together, some scary shit is bound to happen.

Saga 1: Light of Hope

Sonic Holograph

  • This story serves to display Eggman... not exactly at his most cruel, but pretty damn close. His crimes in the Holo Dimension include robbing Miko of her casino, laying siege to an entire kingdom and then a densely-populated city (possibly costing many innocent lives in the process), forcibly mutating an innocent Chao into a rampaging Chaos-like creature through negative Aura Energy, and then attempting to take over the entire Angel Realm. And all of this for what? Certainly to Take Over the World like always, sure, but his most vile actions are all committed to learn the intricacies of Aura and other such newly available resources. That's right, he was increasing his cruelty factor purely For Science!!

  • Speaking of his siege on the Angel Realm, the reveal of the Aura Armor. Just as Sonic had taken down the Hyper EggRobo MK.II, Eggman reveals his new trump card: a suit of Powered Armor that makes him as powerful and fast as Super Sonic, along with granting him crystalline Hard Light construction powers and the same sort of time abilities that Sonic could use with his Aura bracelet. Mind you, Super Sonic was not an option. Until the arrival of Shining Sonic, there was a very likely possibility of Sonic losing due to facing an enemy that is simply that much more powerful than himself. The feeling of hopelessness in this situation is almost tangible.
    • The lead-up to Shining Sonic is nothing all that nice either. Sonic's newfound friends attempt to hold Eggman back as Sonic charges himself with Aura Energy, but it becomes very clear that none of them are putting a dent in something on Super Sonic's level without any enhancements of their own. Each bunch of allies can only hold Eggman back for mere seconds before being swatted away, with Eggman being incredibly close to outright killing Sonic.

Sonic Holograph: Myth

  • Ina's affliction. Just... Imagine being in Ina's shoes for a moment. You're living a rather happy life with your friends when, all of a sudden, your body is racked with pain and you start hearing the dying screams of those who you had contracted and who hadn't really bothered you all that much before. All this to the point where you pass out and continue to do so every so often, stuck in constant comas where the pain and screaming continously haunt you.

  • With Ina's affliction as the herald, the world is swarmed with dark monsters. They are basically unkillable by normal means, only holy magics being able to harm them (which not everyone has, mind you), and there are many of them. They can even merge together into larger monsters, which are that much harder to take down.
    • And on this note, there is the corruption that comes with interacting with the Void monsters too much or simply being metaphorically touched by their ruler, otherwise referred to as their "madness". Even if someone is capable of fighting them, they could easily have their minds filled with thoughts they would never have otherwise. A darker side to them could be awakened, or their existing self could be twisted to the point of hurting those around them, even their friends. One only needs to imagine their best friend suddenly turning on them to realize just how terrifying this madness really is.

  • Even though it was ultimately for the greater good, one must not forget that Calliope had fully intended to go to war with Atlantis and destroy it all. And she was not afflicted with the Void's madness, she had her faculties all put together properly. All that happened was that she became extremely misguided, which arguably makes her situation that much worse.

  • Entropy. Take the remains of the Time Eater after Sonic Generations, let it feed on the Ancient Ones for a while, and you get this. This... thing is the cause of all the events laid out above in the Myth section of Holograph's story, including Ina's affliction, the Void monsters, the madness, all of it. And all this is for a simple goal: to take revenge on Sonic and Silver by slowly-but-surely destroying everything.
    • You may be wondering: Why Silver? He didn't get involved in the Time Eater's defeat, so Entropy should have nothing against him. Well, that's the thing. He didn't help much in the defeat of the Time Eater, but he helped quite heavily in the defeat of Mephiles the Dark, with this story taking after the theory of the Time Eater being the remains of Mephiles' time powers. This creature has two games' worth of grudges against the heroes, and all of it is being let out in this catastrophe.
    • Entropy's appearance is nothing to sneeze at either. It heavily resembles the purple fog form of the Time Eater, only with several purplish-blue tentacles in place of arms, the singular eye sigil of the Ancient Ones in place of its original eyes, and a purplish-blue version of the wings of Solaris behind its back. That last bit is especially terrifying, as it implies that this fragment of a fragment, by feasting on the Ancient Ones, had managed to acquire power like that of Solaris without Iblis - or the rest of Mephiles, for that matter - even being needed.

Sonic Holograph: Blazy Mix ~Plasmagic Seasons!!~

  • While mostly Played for Laughs, the idea of being corrupted by Plasmagic is quite scary when put into practice. After interacting with a Plasmagic Siphon in some sort of way, the best case scenario is that you come out of it with some neat season-themed powers and a slight personality shift. The worst case (aside from dying), on the other hand, is for you to be overwhelmed and consumed by the power, becoming an almost entirely different person due to aspects of your personality being heavily exaggerated, and usually not for the best. And the worst part of it, even if you start off in control of the Plasmagic within you, a bit of prodding in the wrong direction could be all it takes for you to lose said control.

  • The Weather Hacker. A giant mechanical dragon capable of "hacking" the world around it. Already pretty scary to think about if it ever came into the wrong hands, but then it lost control, consuming any Plasmagic in the area it's in and thus majorly screwing up the weather. With the power of the seasons combined with its own world hacking abilities, it becomes something akin to a god, even being able to take away the innate powers of individuals like Blaze's pyrokinesis. If not for realizing that she can utilize Plasmagic as well, Blaze would've stood no chance against it, and neither would've... probably almost anybody, really.

Sonic Holograph: Episode Shadow -Stardust Song-

  • Let's get something out of the way right now: the Planet-Eater is terrifying. After the Time Eater began snacking on the Ancient Ones, Sana scattered the survivors of its rampage throughout the cosmos. However, she could not have predicted that they would become overtaken by their survival instincts, eventually coalescing into a singular entity. This being was the Planet-Eater, which's name explains its goals quite succintly: it just wants to consume everything in sight without mercy. All this because Entropy had put the fear of death into these eldritch beings.
    • Its different forms are nothing to sneeze at either. When Nova Shadow is first fighting it, it takes on the form of what is effectively a planet with the Ancient Ones' signature yellow eye... just covered in a shell that is eerily reminiscent of a fanged maw. Not helping this at all are the tentacles it summons to attack Nova Shadow, as well as firing miniature black holes to warp him all over the place. After he breaks the shell, it changes its true form: effectively just a massive orb of darkness with that same golden eye, surrounded by a ring of asteroids and with six tendrils protruding out of it. Having to see it in any form in the night sky would not be pleasant, even without the implication of your planet being about to be consumed.
