• Adaptation Sequence: The original web-novel was adapted into a light novel, the which in-turn served as a basis for the anime. A manga adaptation was produced, but deviates somewhat from the web-novel and light novel.
• Author's Saving Throw: Many readers of the original web novel pointed out that despite being mentally thirty years old due to living two lives, the reincarnated students acted more like typical teenagers. In one "D-sensei" chapter the god declared this was due to sheltered upbringings ensuring they had no need to mentally mature.
• Troubled Production: Episodes 21, 22, and 23 suffered heavily with episode 24 being delayed for a week, mostly due to overbooking CG work due to the staff also working on Blu Ray improvements (while also not taking into consideration that many of the CG teams, including the company that spoke up about it, Tengu Kobo, were working on other anime titles at the same time). As well as poor outsourcing of the 2D animation for these episodes.
