• The Danza: In "Gold and Retriever", Maurice LaMarche voices a character named Malcomb LaMarche.
• Fake Nationality: Everyone but Hunter, though Colleen could easily be taken for South African or Australian given where her accent drifts off to sometimes.
  • Fake Russian: Exile is voiced by an African-American actor.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Until a February 10, 2015 release through the Warner Archive, there were no DVDs to speak of for the series and most people had to settle for YouTube clips that would more often than not get pulled down for copyright reasons.
• Referenced by...: In the Teen Titans Go! episode "Huggbees", Starfire finds the Road Rovers when trying to look for a superhero to pair up with.
• Screwed by the Network: At the same time other WB cartoons (like Freakazoid! and Earthworm Jim, though the latter was actually produced by Universal) were getting similar treatment.
  • Screwed by the Lawyers: Recent evidence has turned up suggesting the show was actually canned by a lawsuit by an individual claiming it was ripping off a similar IP they had in mind, though thus far, no word on how said lawsuit's decision (whatever it was; details are scarce) led to the show being canceled.
• Short-Runners: One of the shortest-lived series to ever air on Kids' WB! along with Waynehead and Detention, lasting only for 13 episodes in one season and being taken off the block shortly afterwards. Though it did air reruns on Cartoon Network from 1998 to 2000.
