Trivia / QT Mod

Go To

  • Ascended Fanon: The name of QT's creator, Gabriel, was chosen by fans in Hazard24's Discord server, and was eventually made official.
  • Missing Episode: Upon rewriting the lore, Hazard24 deleted the #lore channel on what used to be her Discord server which holds most of her artwork and trivia of the characters due to Canon Discontinuity. The images and messages on the channel are archived here. note
  • Orphaned Reference:
    • Due to Hazard24 deciding to rewrite the lore, and then later transferring ownership of said lore to Count Nightshade and DreamAmi, most of the HorrorSecrets are now outdated.
    • The fourth HorrorSecret file suggests that Cinder killed herself in order to become what she is today. However, that was when she and Amelia were the same person, with Cinder being Amelia after the aforementioned event.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Originally, QT and KB were supposed to be one entity, a killer robot who used a dead girl as bait.
    • The mod would have been a horror mod, hence QT & KB’s original concept. Count Nightshade objected to the idea, so the final product became Lighter and Softer.
    • QT and KB as one entity (see above) is supposed to be just a Friday Night Funkin' OC, who was hired by Daddy Dearest to kill Boyfriend, and has nothing to do with Brutality Labs. Their final incarnation are not FNF OCs, but rather, characters for the story of Brutality Labs.
    • There is supposed to be a song called "Redacted" where Boyfriend gets a nightmare after the events of the mod. Everything about it (including the Freeze-Frame Bonus and its contents) has been scrapped because Hazard24 couldn't fit it in the overarching story.
    • If the Freeze-Frame Bonus in the "redacted" video is of any indication, Cinder would have been the actual culprit behind the Brutality Labs fire, burning it down because she is disgusted by the experiments the laboratory has done. Hazard24 confirmed that Cinder didn't cause the fire, and that the Freeze-Frame Bonus is outdated.
    • Ashley's hair color changed quite a bit. When creating the album cover for "Brutality", her hair would have been blue. It was scrapped due to the color palette not working, and was replaced with black hair with a red headband. Eventually, it changed to the final color palette of blonde hair and blue headband to make her look cuter.
    • QT & KB's Family of Choice would have expanded with a third member named Agni, a Ridiculously Human Robot made by Yama who acts as a guardian of the ruins of Brutality Labs after it burned down. Hazard24 ultimately scrapped him because he "[does] 1 thing and never show up or [does] anything again."
  • Shrug of God: If QT and KB aren't designed for each other, how does KB fit in her back? Even Hazard24 and Count Nightshade doesn't know.
  • Word of Gay: QT and KB are both aromantic and asexual.
  • Word of God: Certain facts are only stated by the creators in multiple platforms. And there are a lot.
    • There are at least six QT units, and the one we see is the sixth one.
    • The QT units and KB are created by two separate people. The former is created by a scientist named Gabriel, while the latter is created by another scientist named Yama.
    • KB is a parasite robot, and needs a lot of blood to survive.
    • QT and KB aren't designed for each other. In fact, the reason why KB attached himself to QT is that he thought she was human.
    • If they were to be separated, QT will experience extreme pain.
    • The singing voice in "Interlope" belongs to Ashley, not Amelia.
    • QT and KB are both created on 1999.
