• Keep Circulating the Tapes: It took 24 years for the OVA to see even a limited release. Initially, it was only available through limited theatrical screenings and a VHS tape redeemed through Weekly Shonen Jump. It was finally uploaded to the One Piece YouTube channel in 2022, as part of a livestream to promote One Piece Film: Red. Said livestream has since been taken down.
• No Export for You: Prior to the Youtube stream, the special was only available in Japan, likely because of distribution rights (Production I.G was the studio behind this one rather than Toei).
