- Character Outlives Actor: Miyu Matsuki, the voice actress for Cthuko, passed away on October 2015, which led to speculation that the Haiyore! Nyarko-san F OVA was cancelled by only having one episode.
- Colbert Bump:
- The day the anime hit the airwaves sales of the collected works of HP Lovecraft surged in Japan.
- The first volume of My Maid is an Amorphous Blob was released in 2010, but quickly forgotten. After Tekeli got The Cameo role in Haiyore! Nyarko-san for a few times, it appears to generate enough interest (and sale) that the second volume was released in 2013.
- Creator-Chosen Casting: Manta Aisora explicitly said he wanted Bin Shimada to play Nodens; this was apparently the only specific casting choice he had in mind.
- Crossdressing Voices:
- Defictionalization: Amongst the normal merchandise of figures, artbooks, and oppai mousepads, they also sell "Yasaka Family-Brand Malign God Hunter Forks" (which are real forks with a crest on the face) and a deck of playing cards inspired by the infamous "Cyclone!" "Joker!" sequence in the second season — complete with 40 Jokersnote .
- Late Export for You: The anime wasn't released in Latin America until 2022.
- Milestone Celebration: The anime marked the 10th anniversary of SB Creative's GA Bunko label along with Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Chivalry of a Failed Knight, Hundred, and Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle.
- No Dub for You: As of 2023, NIS America released the anime with English subtitles.
- No Export for You: The anime adaptation is the only part of the series which is officially available in English; the original light novels, the manga adaptation, and the visual novel spinoff have yet to be made available outside of Japan.
