• Playing Against Type:
  • Crispin Freeman, best known for playing psychopaths, is Superman.
  • Many of Ron Perlman's past (and in one case, future) DC roles involved playing members of Batman's Rogues Gallery (Clayface, Killer Croc, Bane, Rumor, Doctor Double X). Here, he plays the Dark Knight himself.
• Role Reprise: In the French dub, Superman is voiced by Emmanuel Jacomy, reprising his role from the DC Animated Universe.
