Igal Naor (Saddam Hussein) is Israeli, but of Iraqi Jewish descent, Shohreh Aghdashloo (Sajida Khairallah Talfah) is originally from Iran, Makram J. Khoury (Tariq Aziz) is an Israeli Arab, Phillip Arditti (Uday Hussein) is Swiss-born, Amr Waked (Hussein Kamel) is Egyptian, Christine Stephen-Daly (Samira Shahbandar) is Australian, Mounir Margoum (Qusay Hussein) and Said Taghmaoui (Barzan Ibrahim) are French Moroccan.
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Igal Naor was seen in Munich (as Mahmoud Hamshari), Rendition (as Abasi Fawal), and Green Zone (as General Al-Rawi). Shohreh Aghdashloo is best known for her roles in 24 and The Nativity Story (as Dina Araz and Elizabeth respectively). Makram Khoury also starred in Munich (as Wael Zwaiter), Mounir Margoum was also seen in Rendition as one of Naor's lackeys. Said Taghmaoui is most famous for his roles in Three Kings and Vantage Point.
