Trivia / Henry Danger

Go To

  • Actor-Inspired Element: When Schwoz and Jasper come out empty handed when trying to recruit famous singers to assist in the sing-off against Frankini in “Henry Danger: The Musical“, they remark that Ariana Grande was Team Frankini. Frankie Grande, who plays Frankini, is her half-brother.
  • Adored by the Network:
    • It’s one of Nickelodeon’s longest running live-action scripted series, had three crossovers, and has had no less than two spin-offs. The fifth and final season was a whopping 40 episodes!
    • Leading up to the series finale, it took over TeenNick with an every episode marathon (albeit in chunks). Even after that, they continue to excessively air it everyday.
    • From 2022 to early 2023, 70% of TeenNick's lineup on was almost nothing but reruns of Henry Danger. By April 2023, it took up 98% of their programming, to the point where Erin & Aaron and The Really Loud House were the only two programs that were allowed to interject in between this show. By the week of July 10, 2023, TeenNick was ONLY airing Henry Danger and its counterpart Danger Force. It’s gotten to the point where a Twitter account that posts a full week schedule of the channel allows users to poke fun at the scheduling, with one comment asking if the channel should be renamed to DangerNick.
  • Billing Displacement: In an odd opening credits example, Riele Downs and Sean Ryan Fox have their credits order switched back and forth every episode, depending on who has more focus than the other.
  • The Danza: Recurring antagonist Frankini is played by Frankie Grande.
  • Dawson Casting: Jace Norman is just slightly older than his character by only a year.
  • Dueling Shows: With Mighty Med and to a lesser extent even Nickelodeon's own The Thundermans.
  • Meaningful Release Date: The series finale aired March 21, 2020, the day of Jace Norman's 20th birthday.
  • Recycled Script: "The Bucket Trap", "Substitute Teacher", and "JAM Session" have pretty much the same plot line as "The Bet", "Clowning Around", and "Anger Management" from three other Schneider's Bakery shows, Drake & Josh, Kenan & Kel, and Zoey 101.
  • Release Date Change: The second part of the series finale was supposed to lead into the 2020 Kids Choice Awards, but was moved to the night before once the ceremony was postponed.
  • Unspecified Role Credit: Zigzagged; as per all other current live-action Nick shows, the end credits only list the supporting cast by the actors' names and not who they portrayed; however, the onscreen "last 30 seconds of the show" credits have the proper actor/character listing.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • This show was originally going to be called "The Mayor of Mars" and Henry Hart and Captain Man was going to be named David Cooper and Galaxy Glen, respectively.
    • Season 2 was planned to have 20 episodes but it was ultimately shortened by one episode. The originally planned second season finale "A Fiñata Full Of Death Bugs" was ultimately produced as the third season premiere, given the fact it continues where the second season finale left off.
  • Word of God: According to Dan Schneider, Jasper is apparently banned from the zoo due to an incident regarding an elephant.
