• Artist Disillusionment: Jim Bonacci made his opinions on the quality of most of user-made levels quite clear.
• Creator Backlash: According to this, the creator of the game has stated that he doesn't feel like it's his game anymore. He also has expressed distaste with certain people that have made money off of Lets Playing his game.
• Development Hell: Happy Wheels 2 was announced by Bonacci in 2015, with its updates on progress being slow and sparse.
• Missing Episode: When Verizon's go90 service shut down, all shows on it went down with it, including the Happy Wheels Animated Adaptation. Most of it has been found by the Lost Media Wiki, but Episode 7, "Stephen Saves The Day", is still missing.
• Promoted Fanboy: UberHaxorNova, who is well known for his Let's Play of Happy Wheels, provides the voice for the Pogo Stick Man.
