Trivia / Guilty Crown

Go To

  • Acting for Two:
    • Ritsu Takarada and Jun Samukawa, as well as the younger Shu Ouma, are voiced by Minami Tsuda.
    • The younger Gai Tsutsugami and Miyabi Herikawa are both voiced by Akeno Watanabe.
    • Inori Yuzuriha and Mana Ouma are both voiced by Ai Kayano in Japanese and Alexis Tipton in English. This makes sense later on when you find out that Inori is a clone of Mana, so it would make no sense at all if they had different voice actors.
  • Anime First: Started as an anime original, then adapted into written materials.
  • Channel Hop: After Guilty Crown first aired on Fuji TV, reruns aired on Fuji TV Two from November 2012 to February 2013.
  • Creator Couple: Terri Doty, who voiced the younger Gai in the English dub, is married to Stephen Hoff, who was the ADR engineer.
  • Defictionalization: Supercell assumes the name Egoist whenever Chelly is doing vocals. Yes, it's more or less a real band under an actual label.
  • Directed by Cast Member: Besides directing the English dub, Colleen Clinkenbeard was one of the additional voices.
  • Non-Singing Voice: Ai Kayano voices Inori, but does not do the singing voice for her character, even though she has done songs for other anime she's been in. Instead, Chelly of Egoist does Inori's singing voice.
  • No Export for You: The manga version, Lost Christmas visual novel (including the OVA), Princess of Deadpool and Dancing Endlaves did not have an overseas release. However, the Lost Christmas visual novel received a fan translation in 2016.
  • Written by Cast Member: Patrick Seitz, the English voice of Dan Eagleman, wrote the scripts for episodes 7, 8, 13, 15, 17 and 19.
